If you can believe it I think it has something to do with the PANS... Police Association of Nova Scotia.  I'd like to know if anyone else can confirm this.

It is indeed the PANS.  I called their marketing division and they confirmed this.  If this number calls again, call (800) 890-4090 and request to be removed from the list.

This number is also for Crime Stoppers,the same organisation calls for both of these police charities.

It must be PANS. They call and beg for more money all the time!

They called me tonight. I was listening to the song "Mrs. Robinson" by Simon and Garfunkel, and the phone rings. The man on the phone goes "Would this be Mrs. Robinson?" Wrong number of course, but creepy haha

most of those "police charities" have NOTHING to do with real Law Enforcement charities...  real ones don't solicit by making phone calls...  or sending junk mail either...

I got a phone call today at about 7:49pm...i buddie of mine picked the phone up and answered...i was in the bathroom...they said they'd call back...i like to know who it is calling because i called them back and said there number it not in service...weird eh?

just recieved a call from the number 902-482-2129.  Unknown to canada411 and unknown to myself as well.  Typed in 902-482-xxxx to find out where it was located and it is a Halifax number,  so not from moncton.  as many of you did i called the number back and went strait to voice mail.  oh it came in at 5:17 pm.

Phone rang twice at 1:30pm Sat, picked up, dead air, then hang up. I checked caller ID & dialed it; went right to voice mail.

Received a call tonight asking for my wife at 8:00pm. I said she wasn't there, and that I was her husband and I could take a message. They said there was no message and that they would call back. If this is really a soliciting call for PANS, it would actually be a company calling from Moncton by the name of Fenety Marketing. http://fenety.com/

Called (ID: UNKNOW NAME (902)482-2129).... I did not answer..... I presume it was PANS, we made the mistake of giving them $20 a couple of times, years ago, now they harrass the hell out of us!!

Too bad there weren't laws stopping so-called nonprofit organizations from bothering people!

Called at 5:53, left message asking for my wife, then began leaving very creepy message whispering my wife's name. this cant be for the police associaition, and if it is someones got some explaining to do.
