Got a call on my fido cell. Picked up and got a recorded message saying I'd won a promo gift and to press 1. Definitely a scam! Hung up

this number called me from nova scotia obviously it was not anyone i would know so i clicked ignore

Yep...I got a call on my cell last night (late), missed the call THANK GOODNESS! from Newmarket, ON

I got 2 calls yesterday. I missed both of them. I was just checking on the net to find out who could it be, since I am in Toronto and the area code suggests it is from NS or PEI.

This number seems to be from Nova Scotia (as 902 is our area code). I got this call, on July 22, but i didn't answer.

Had a missed call from this number about an hour ago. I'm with Bell in NS.

Just got the call. Since I don't answer 900 number.If your not in may address book. I;m not answering it. LOL

Yeah, just received a call about 5 minutes ago on my cell from this #. Didn't pick it up since I know no one from Nova Scotia and that's what came up as well with the #.

I got it the other day.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the area code.  Must be a scam.

I got the call to, I never answered it and wasn't able to call it back. I'm from Saskatoon, Sk so I have no idea how they got my number....

i got a call from them today while i was at work,  i rushed away to answer it because i'm expecting a phone call. i tried to call it back and it said this number could not be completed as dialed,  im in hamilton ont.  with a fido provider so i thought maybe it was fido, but seeing all these claims i guess not.

9029986472 called me and left no message. Called number back and line was busy. Looked up on 411.ca no listed company.

Just got a call from this number.  I'm in SW ontario 519 area code.  The jerks woke my 4mth old up when my phone rang.  Damn a** hole scammers

Just got it too.. Hamilton, ON. Interesting that no one has commented on this phone number on this website in the last year and a half, then all of a sudden there's a flurry of comments like mine here all in the last hour and a half. What??

got a call and started to listen a stupid recording message. I hung up immediately and locked the number. I am in Ottawa on Koodo phoneservice.

Ya I answered and they hung up, call couldn't be completed as dialed ... I am from NS with koodo don't know where they would have gotten my cell the only ones who have it are work... Gotta love the internet, if it wasn't for this I would have been worried someone was calling about something important.. gotta love when they call at 10pm. 902 is the areacode for here so they really need to bugger off they know how late it is here!! lol

Whoever it is just called me. I didn't answer. 2 minutes later, I got a text from them saying "hey"

I get these all the time. and my hsband even gets them on his cell some times. its a pain.

Just got that call almost minutes after I gave my number to the Georgia Straight to do their Best of Vancouver poll. Could be a coincidence, or not.

I just missed a call from this number too.  Judging by the number of reports of this they must have mass called thousands of people all in one shot.  It's illegal to put a cel number on a calling list but if the caller uses a random dialer and happens to get a cel they face no consequence.

Same thing Andrew got. Rec'd the call 5 mins ago. East european accent said my number had been selected to win.

I just got a call from (902) 998-6472. Said something about my # being selected for some kind of prize. It was on my cell so hung up.
