I receive calls on my business line all the time from different people from this number that try and pose as a good buddy, and I pay ALL my bills and don't owe anyone a dime. The people are usually rude and try and be very evasive when I inquire what the call pertains to and ask what company they are with ( they won't say or hang up ). I myself was a bill collector for several years, and Never talked to people like these clowns do ! Get your facts straight because I don't owe anyone a iota , and don't appreciate being bothered while I'm trying to work.

I'm going to use them for just the reasons above.  If we have a dead beat who will not pay their bill I want the biggest bad a** on the planet to go after them 24/7.  I just hired them a few days ago and I hope they are as relentless as possible.

The best way to stop these chumps is to file a complaint with the ACA out of MN, which they claim to be members of. http://www.acainternational.org  on the bottom right column there is a file a complaint option. Then from there continue to report them to the BBB in Tyler, TX and Dallas, TX. All these guys are are bird dogs. Chumps who laugh and giggle and think their antics are going to work. They could not sell their c***s to their own hands. http://www.nrsagency.com/   website looks like a 5yo designed it with his feet.

They can be severely fined for making unwanted telemarketing calls. You must tell them not to call back at all. You need to document their unwanted calls for backup here. Fines can be 2000 per offense! I just called my company's phone service provider and had them block the offender's numbers. That is all the recourse that I know of. REPORT THEM!

Effing Rude Reps on the Phone- I answer and the guy says "Steve please" (now we have several "Steve's" here, so I ask; "May I ask who is calling?" "he replies "Tommy- tell him Tommy is on the phone" (yeahhhh ok buddy- I will get right on that for you.....) so then I ask "Where are you calling from?" and I can here his frustrated sigh as he gives me some garbled reply- so I ask again and he says more clearly and annoyed "EAS" so I say ok...and what Steve did you want? We have several here" And his replay which one is the president? and mentions both by name...so I say "ok" and out him into voice mail. cause my Boss had left for the Day but even if he hadn't the guy would have gone into voicemail because they are rude and aggressive.

Now my company pays their Bills, and even if something was past due and had gone into collections. there is absolutely NO NEED for these Reps to be Rude to the people answering the phones

These people have been calling me twice a day for weeks, and the kicker is that the phone number they are calling ive had for 20 years. They ask for a person that either had this number before me or someone who used this number when signed some billing contract.

When i inform them of this fact they harass me and swear at me that im lieing and they want to talk to her now! I let the caller know that now i have a recording of them being this rude, but the caller states that since i didnt tell him he was being recorded it wont be allowed in a court of law.

So now when i get a call form these people i state "Thank you for calling _____, for quality assurances this call will be recorded.", you wont belive how much nicer these callers are now.

Still they wont take me off there list's but they say it so nicely...LOL

I was getting 2 calls a day for weeks and the person there trying to reach hasnt had this phone number in over 20 years. i decided to change my tactics with them, since they are rude and sometimes swearing at me. I told one caller that i had a recording of his last call to me and he said since i didnt tell him i was recording this conversation it would not be allowed in court. So now when i answer the phone call from them i state "Thank you for calling ____, for quility assurance this call will be recorded. While its has not stoped the call from coming in, they are alot nicer now.

These people called our business this morning, apparently trying to get us to do business with them.  The boss, who happened to pick up the phone, told them, "Not interested," but the guy kept rambling on.  So the boss told him again, "Not interested!" and hung up.  I'm sure they'll call back.  Caller ID showed only Texas but other people have identified them as Nationwide Recovery, a debt collection company.

These people called our business at 0923 hrs this morning and started rambling on to the boss (who happened to be in the office and picked up the phone).  The guy kept rambling even after the boss told him several times, 'Not interested.'  The boss, naturally, hung up the phone.  Unfortunately, he didn't pay attention to hear where the guy was allegedly calling from and what he wanted.  Once he hears a cold-call salespitch, he just hangs up the phone.  Caller ID showed only the number and "Texas."

Received a call from this number from Chris.  He asked for someone who I knew was out of the office, but he magically "had a note that said to call".  Asked for company name and what the call was regarding, when he refused to provide any other details I finally told him that the person he called for was out of the office.  He was so irritated he told me "why do you screen calls so hard, rather than get caught in a lie just connect me to the person I'm calling for".  Firmly advised that the individual was not here and he finally hung up.

Sorry but it's not about whether or not a bill was paid...you don't know what you are talking about.  These people even call our office.  We have no outstanding debts.  These are companies that get your phone number and continue to call because they are either trying to scam you or trying to get you to buy something.  Companies like this are routing their phone numbers so that you can't find them.

Take us off the caller list..... & your rep was very rude!

Caller acted like we had set up a phone appointment with him. When I told him that my boss wasn't in he started talking stern & trying to make it sound like I was lying.  Not a good way for me to take a message & give it to my boss. (which I won't)

The only thing it made me do is look up who the caller actually was..... so I could post...on the do not call list.

This is a business and the caller from 903-266-3955, a young man, asked for the owner.  I said they were on vacation.  The young man said they will call back next week.  Because I was suspicious I didn't hang up, I waited for him to and guess what?  He didn't hang up so I listened and he started talking to his neighbor - a female - about her new love and how she was accepting of an open relationship.  The young man talking didn't realize that the call did NOT disconnect with me and continued talking to his neighbor.  He was so inappropriate speaking to this girl beside him and used the F bomb.  At this point I disconnected the call.  I started listening because I thought I would hear something about what company he was calling from.  After being a receptionist for a long time one can easily tell suspicous sales calls.

SO REMEMBER THIS NUMBER.  And I did read all the posts above.  And, yes, I agree with the replies to "someone"...

The company is in Tyler Texas and in Dallas area. They collect past due medical bills for diffeerent hospitols.  If they are calling the wrong number then it is because that was the number given them by the hospitol, or came out of a search program. If you tell them that they have the wrong number then they will remove it and use the search program to look up numbers, the same way other collections company's do.  It is done this way industry wide. There is nothing you can do but tell them to remove you or if you tell them place you on do not call statis.

I used to work for them and i hated every minute of it. But i needed a job at the time. I hated having to call little old ladies and be rude to thm cause there medicare didnt pay a hospital or ambulance bill.. Some of the people there take pleasure in being so rude.. And you are trained to be aggressive and to tell the person that you are talking to that they need to pay big amounts... Its because they tell you when they hire you that you get these huge bonus checks for collecting that you never see. You have to collect over 8,000 dollars a month to even get a bonus at all. I worked there for 6 weeks and they were the worst days of my life. Then one day the ceo showed up and all of a sudden everybody that hadnt been there for 6 months or more were fired 0on the spot with no warning or reason.. First job i have ever been fired from and i must say that I was not disappointed. Anyways they use a program called skip trace to locate your information.. Your last known address, they can even find your phone number with a cell provider even if its in somebody else's name. You can ask for a supervisor and threaten to sue if they dont remove your name and stop calling you.. Tell them that you are somebody else and just got this number and to stop calling after 3 times of being told that they have to stop.

Actually, you are wrong, they're playing a slick con game that isn't "technically" outrageously illegal - just sickeningly unethical.

They've called here asking for my daughters (different calls, different daughter), and claim to have a debt of theirs that's in collection etc. etc - which as you say, is illegal for them to even tell me. I've never been involved as a co-signer etc. for either of them, but have no doubt been used as a reference.

Anyway, what this place does is drag up old debts, or closed accounts, or in my case, a non-existent old debt and try to get payment. If you have a debt over x many years old, it's a dead issue UNLESS you agree to or make a payment, in which case it's re-opened and considered to be a new contract. SO if I had agreed to pay anything, they would have claimed they held a debt of MINE - when that's not even why they claimed to call. And, the killer is, that this tactic is currently "legal".

I pay my debts, and so do/did my kids - the sad fact is that if you've ever done business anywhere, you're info is up for grabs - How they even found me at this number is interesting as I've remarried, have a different name, and no obvious link to my married daughters. I live 3 states away from where I was anytime the things they were claiming supposedly happened, but yet, they know where to call me - and then ask for my daughter.

I never pay or agree to anything on a call where they call me - if I think it's legit, I refuse, then call back at a number I know is right. Never make a payment where they offer to take the info and "hold" it until the money is there either - doing that is the same as writing a bad check.  Of course the person calling isn't making big money - they're call center folks or work at home folks and the calls go through a central call center (thus the number) - and most likely need the job and are unaware of the truth of what they're participating in. But trust me, there are people raking in money from this - look up this company and see for yourself

The bottom like is that you have be suspicious, don't blame the people fed up with rude calls (because the people calling are not trained collections people so they follow no rules) blame the people taking advantage of both their employees and the folks they're calling - they're the ones who cause this - not the people wanting their privacy respected. Never agree, or say "yes" and so on when called, as the recorded conversation is then edited  to prove that you ok'd whatever it is they're calling about (so you'll find they are constantly asking if you agree and so on...)

It's too bad, but the days when people are who they say they are disappeared with the ability to make your own phone number and caller id info and stream calls from everywhere through one number which isn't even the number you see when they call. It's a field day for scams.

These people called our company phone. When I answered, no one said anything. Then, I said Hello..a man just mumbled what sounded like "George please". Since we have no George, I asked him to repeat who he wanted to speak to and he yelled at me, " GEORGE...LIKE GEORGE WASHINGTON, THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES"!!!. Very, very rude! Then, he had the nerve to call back. So, I let him have it!! He hasn't called back but, I have written down the number and I will ignore it from now on. It's: 903-266-3955. I suggest anyone else do the same.
