This is a SCAM. It's a recording so either don't answer or hang up as quickly as possible.

Some redneck fake scam pretending to be a live call that somebody paid for me a emergency medical device. I'm 27 you dumb nuts, HAHAHA

I am tired of this number calling me. I pick up the phone, say nothing, and wait. The party on the other end of the line doesn't talk and hangs up after about 20 seconds. What a jerk!

As soon as the recording said, "Do not hang up," I did. From reading the comments on this thread, I did not miss anything.

I have repeatedly asked this "John from shipping" wanting to deliver my home alert system four times now to stop calling and he wont!!!! How do we stop these preditors????

i just got that call today just push 5 so it will not call it agian i kown its a scam i really hate those scams

903-309-1118 called at 8:45 pm to "schedule delivery/installation of medical alert device I had ordered." Of course I had not ordered it. I told him so; he replied that someone must have ordered it for me because the shipping was already paid. I told him not to schedule, deliver, bill or come to my home - EVER. The "voice" changed, then sounded more like a recording and stated that they'd mark their record that I had refused shipping ... Yeah Right. Only reason I answered the phone was because I thought it was a relative. Won't make that mistake again.

We got the second call from this scammer today. Sounds like there is little to be done about it, except to hang up and ignore them. I wish actually going to the trouble of adding my telephone number to the do not call list was worth the effort, but with people/companies like this that do not respect or honor the systems in place to guard against fraud and harrassment, it has been worth little.

Just got a call from 903-309-1118. I answered and some guy says I am getting a medical alert system. When I told him this was a scam, he got rather loud and wouldn't stop talking over me ? so hung up. Reminder to self: don't ever pick up when this number pops up again.

This is crazy- several calls a week from these people and I DO NOT have an order in for their system. When I needed 1 for my Mom they were very unhelpful! STOP CALLING!

If they'd like to come by my house, they'll be the ones who have fallen and can't get up.

Called offering backdoor sex and/or oral... for the last time, I'm not gay!  Stop offering to suck me off!

It is just a recording and you can talk to him all day and not receive a response.

This is a scam!!!!  The voice sounds like he is real, but it is a recording.  If you listen to the entire spiel it asks you to press 9 to stop receiving the message....it doesn't work.

I called the number shown and it says that the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service.

I am sure that many people have fallen for this scam...how can we stop them.

Caller called to have Medical Alert delivered to me.  He said it was already paid for.  I told him I did not order it.  He said it was paid for for a friend or relative.  Then it went to automated message.  This is a scam!

The Do Not Call List is not a sure thing.  We all know that.  But you can do this ;
1.  Write down their name, the name of the business, the phone number.
2.  Do not say your name.  This only empowers them when they call again.If they are scammers, they will use your name and phone number in other calls that they make.
3.Request immediately that you be placed on that company's "Do not call list". Reputable telemarketing companies will honor your request and not call you again. Ask for the unique confirmation number that you were placed on the "Do Not Call List." - Some companies do not have a unique confirmation number. In that case, ask to be sent a copy of their Do Not Call procedures. Typically, a manager has to request that from corporate -- your number is often automatically removed from the list and purged from any existing calling lists, rather than having to wait 30 days.

If they do NOT remove you from their call lists, they are not reputable.  Report them online to the FTC.

A very real sounding recording....."Hi my name is John and I am calling to let you know that the personal emergency alarm system that you ordered is ready for delivery....."  I didn't order it!  I have received around 20 calls from them this year , several times i waited through the boring call and stayed on the line to speak with a live call center person.  I requested that my number be removed.  It never was, so I am reporting this number to  the FTC.
I am on the Federal Do Not Call List.  I keep re-adding my numbers, it helps but whoever these people are, they don't care.  They may NOT be a legitimate business.  Don't give them any credit card information or bank card information.  I have been scammed several times before (but never a victim - I was gathering information knowing what was going on).  These people could very well be a scam.  Beware.

Calls 3 or 4 times a day, nearly every day. I just don't answer. My number is listed on the Do Not Call registry. I block the number and they call from another similar number.

"Wireless caller 903-309-1118". I ditched my answering machine because of the constant spam calls/messages...so this number calls and lets it ring 50+ times.  They really need to f-ck off.

I got the same call but I gave them the delivery information for a vacant lot that use to have a house on it, it burned down. I wrote a little script that I use every time with these morons....always the same empty lot and delivery information.

Same story to tell as the others. I want it to STOP...but if you call back....its telling you its a non working number. They call several times a week and IM not pushing ANY number cause I don't trust people.

I agree calling "do not call" does nothing for one.....

I just got the call at couple minutes before 9 and think tha tis the cut off time.I picked it up but didn't say anything. I am reporting to Do Not Call.
