A man from this number just called and asked for my husband.  When I said he wasn't here, and said I'm his wife can I help you, the man hung up.  I've been trying to call the number back for the last 5 minutes, and I keep getting a recording telling me the number isn't available and to leave a message. Has anyone else had this problem?

This number was on my CID the other day when I got in I decided to call it back from my cell phone but it kept going to vm ???

Got this call today. They left no number. It just said Longview, Texas. The State Troopers or Police do not ask for any donations or sales.These are scam artist. I just bought a Panasonic wireless Phone. It will block up to 30 #'s. This is great. This is my 3rd scam call in 2 days. I will add the # now.

Get a Panasonic wireless. You can buy them at Sam's Club, for about $ 50. or online for a little more. It will block up to 30 #. We have been getting calls from all kind of collectors and scams. We know we don't owe anyone anything,so it gets really irritating.This phone is great,and comes in sets of 3 to 5. It truly is a great phone.Good luck from these crooks.

Do you think they are getting our numbers from the classifieds ads?  I just listed something in the local paper, and I, too, received a call from this phone number ... no one on the other end, and then a hang-up.

received a call from this number. the guy said he was calling for the TSTA (tx. state troopers assn), but was so unintelligible that i had to ask him to repeat and slow down before i could get that much.  told him i didn't want to donate and he said, "so i'll put you down for a small $10 donation." i told him again that i didn't want to donate and he hung up.

have received multiple calls. usually don't answer. when i do they hang up. tried calling bk, but get answering machine. left msg for themto return my call. no word yet. i am on the ftc do not call list. will report them if they ever call bk. otherwise, don't know what else to do. pain in the rear mostly.

Got a call this evening. When my husband answered, they hung up.  Called back and was told the person at this extension was not available.

Called during the day, left no message.

Caller ID says "Longview TX" but no message left.

SEVERAL CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER. WHEN I SAY HELLO, THEY HANG UP. SO TODAY WHEN THEY CALLED AND HUNG UP I DECIDED TO CALL THEM BACK AND TELL THEM OFF BUT GOT A VOICE MAIL SAYING TO LEAVE A MESSAGE, BUT OF COURSE THE MAILBOX WAS FULL.

4TH call from this bunch of thieves

My caller I.D said it was a Longview, Tx call (903)740-0421... I have many friends from the east texas area so i answered, no response. All attemps to try to redial the number failed due to being transferred straight to a voicemail box. But the most interesting thing is that no one has this number. Matter of fact I just got my phone and this was my first recieved call.Hmmmmmm?? Kinda freaky!! Is there anyway to remove your number from all data bases involved with these types of calls?

I have also received multiple calls for this number, now the voice mail is full.  From what I can discern it seems to be part of a rotary.  They never call before 20:00, never speak and the number has a Paris, TX area code.

They keep calling.  Do not leave message.  This goes on all day and until late at night.

repeated calls from this number.  no one there.  tried to put this number and 940-295-1889 on call blocking but wouln't work.  at&t msg said call blocking not available on these number.  what's up??????

This number has called me for the last two days in a row. 9/29/09 and 9/30/09. Each time this number calls there is nothing and no one on the other end. No matter how many times I say hello, there is no response. These calls are not so much threatining to me as they are a nuissance! Whoever is calling could at least have the nerve to say something!.

Called and a woman was singing on reccorder couldn't make out what exactly.

They called me to and called by name - then hung up ! If you call back doesn't even ring.
