he owns a company called jvs  group in Gilmer Texas..  they do medical collections for local hospitals... he can't technically discuss debt or medical info with anybody but the person who owes it but he should've asked if u were  so n  so  and  stated the last name of who he was looking for....  he's an a***ole and runs his business in an awful manner... I  would report him to the bbb  of which he is a member ...  he has millions,  pays his employees nothing and treats everyone like trash...

WOW... If It was my job, I'd find them!!

please be careful with 903-790-5238 number. they call and leave message about returning their call. They do not leave proper information on your answering machine. do not bother.
they act like big collector/attorney.

Just got a call on my cell that came up "blocked" message left from a Gerry.  Googled number and found this page.  I will not be calling them back thanks to all this helpful information.  If I owe someone money then a reputable company can get in touch with me via USMail.  Too many scams out there.

i have pd bills with the company before and it wasnt a scam i verified with the companies i owed money to and they did get payment and it was no longer owed i got statements in the mail from jvs and everything was fine

i have worked in collections before not at that comp but they can call until 9 pm and it can be the best time to contact people also the company i worked for had many clients and it can be to hard list them all so thats why most collections will keep it simple by saying business office

jvs is real you cant leave a lot of information on a voice mail because it may not be the person you are calling for and you cant give info to just anyone the best thing to do is call them back tell them your full name so they can pull the account up and tell you what is going on

got a call from 903-790-5238, laft a message to call jessie & he addressed me by my first name only.
called id showed private caller. i called back the next morning got a machine that said this is crystal & smith leave us a message. i just hung up.

This number is a cell phone number owned by Etex.  The number possibly is owned by the collection agency JVS group out of big sandy, tx.  Very rude people.

Got the same call tonight and just get a message saying I have reached the offices of "Crystal and Smith"? Glad I looked this up. Maybe I will report to Sheriff's Dept.

Me too. They have called me 2 times already. I knew by the message they left that it was a scam. Then they had the nerve to call back.I called the phone company and they said to call the police and report it. If they get enough complaints they will investigate it. I have even considered calling the news station to see if they will make it public so all these elderly people will not get ripped off.

Got a call last night from unknown number, i did not answer the phone and they left a message stating my name and said his name was James and to please return his call at this number and now it a recording that states "The offices of Crystal and Smith" Never a answer....

Received a call last night on my cell it came up as Unknown Caller.  A woman named Jerry said to call her at this number.  That is all she said, didn't say what it was regarding.  I tried to call back a couple of times today but just got an answering machine.  Sounded like she said I had reached the offices of something Smith.  I didn't leave a message, googled it and found this page.  Seems if it was a  legite business not only would they not block their number, but would leave a more professional message, would be open in the middle of the day and not calling after business hours.

Jessie Wheeler called from this #. Caller ID said Private Name/Private Number. Called and used my wife's name and my name and last name. Asked us to call him back in regards to Jim Smith @ 903-790-5238. Did not leave a company name. I called and was greeted by, "Hello?" and not a company name. I asked for Jessie and the man said he had stepped out and he wanted to know what I needed. So I told him I was calling in regards to Jim Smith and that I did not know a Jim Smith. He kind of laughed and stumbled through some words and said that he was Jim Smith. He said (not in an official-type way) that I had a collection due from a hospital and that it was due Friday (not true). So I told him that was not true and he wanted to know my name. I gave him my first name and he wanted to know my last name. I told him I wanted to know who I was dealing with. He then became upset and said that if I didn't give him all the information he needed, he couldn't help me. I told him I didn't want his help...they called me!! He hung up...I called back. Went through the same thing practically. He wanted to know my full name and my wife's full name. I told him it sounded like he already had it and that I wanted to know his company name. He became hostile and said the same thing as last time and hung up... Be aware of some one calling from this number. They may have you and your spouses full name and # (obviously). DO NOT give them any information. I'm still trying to find out what kind of "company" this is.
