harassers!!!

I got a call from this number yesterday told my son that his name is Eric Wilson and he is an attorney,but when i tried to cb i get a busy signal.

who do i contact about these people

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I too have been getting these phn calls multiple times within 2-5 minutes for hours in the day calling my job and cell phn. Says his name is shawn williams from joe allens attorneys office harrassing me saying I would get arrested if I dont make a payment of $200 by a certain time an that I had to got to wakgreens an purchase a vanilla reload network scratch card making sure it was exactly that I got and put the money on. If I didnt do this they would turn me to the authorities ti have me arrested at my job the following day. He tokd me I coukd make the first payment of $200 and the rest the next day came to a total if about $789.00. I almost actually did what they said I didnt know if it was scam but after looking up the 9039560443 online an seeing all that was said I didnt do what they said. I had my coworker pick up my phn when they called again and she told them she didnt think so that we knew they were trying to scam me he got so mad told me I see on monday that I will be arrested but earlier said I was gonna get arrest today friday if I didnt comply. I really could understand him had to have him repeat himself a lot. He even told me the conversation was being recorded. I asked him to send me the papers he saud not until I pay 200. Anyway I contacted the local police in my area and told them what happened he told me that a person cannot get arrested without a warrant and that they would need to investigate before an arrest is made. I did have an online loan but not from the company american cash they say I owe. The officer also told me that I should call who ever I got a loan ask if they know anything about this. Called them this morning and sure enough they didnt know anything about these people. Dont know who they are but they need to be caught. I'm just scared because they know all my info.

They are scammers.  The debt is a lie.  Don't give them any money.  

Stop answering their calls.  It might be possible to block all calls from this number.  Ask your provider how.  

If your phone allows you to assign different ring tones to different phone numbers assign the ring tone "no ring" to this phone number.

i keep getting phones messages and emails regarding my status and saying i have court order against me i wrote back and asked them to send me a bill so i can get an attorney   they will not    the only payment they want is on paymoney card    plz help me

I also got a call from a anthony smith nothing but a out of the country scammer

Left a threatening message saying for me to call or have my attorney call the second I got the message. If I did not, he stated all he could do was wish me luck as I suffered the consequences. He identified himself as Mark Smith. I called the number and another man answered the phone saying he was from a law firm and insisted that I stay near the phone and that "Mark Smith" would call me back from his extension. About five minutes later "Mark Smith" called me and I immediately put him on the spot telling him he was being recorded. He demanded that I take him off of speaker phone (speaker was not on). I asked him to explain his reason for calling and reminded him that I was a former law officer and he immediately disconnected.  I had recently contacted some payday loan companies and suspected it to be connected.

So, I too, get multiple calls from this phone number. An India Indian with an average joe American name ... right.  He says he's with some investigation company? Who can understand him? I tell him over and over I cannot understand him which honks him off. He proceeds to scream at me that I'm not handling this very well and I will be arrested on Friday. Who's not handling it well?  I told him that I couldn't understand what he was saying and if he rally had a beef with me to have someone who speaks AMERICAN, not just English.  Talk about adding fuel to the fire. I did apply for pay day loans but never accepted any terms of any of them and therefore DO NOT have any pay day loans in existence. If I could reach through the phone ... :)

Called told me I would be put behind bars if I ignored him. Called 5 times in one hour. When I answered, he told me where I worked, lived, my kids ages, husbands name, social security number, and date of birth... then went on how I have a class action law suit against me yada yada. I know I do not and they would not hire a Idian guy who could barely speak English!! Pissed me off. How the hell do I get my info away from him!!

I too have received a call from 9039560443. Also in reguard to a loan i do not have.
These people called my job said it waz an emergancy legal matter and that i would be arrested.
Icled them several times finally got a laxy with an accent , indian  not american.
Then i called the sheriffs office. Who said to register with tbe Attorney General office.  The. Tbe no call list of missouri. This should help..I do not have a loan with tbese people.

My story is a little funny. I had a vm from this number, so i googled it, read yalls stories. Then called back. Guy answered, said my name and asked if i knew what the call was in regards to. I told him no, but that I knew that they were spamming people so I wanted to see what he said so that I could inform the public. He hung up on me, I called back. I repeated myself, then he said "no, no. I was calling because there is a missing kid from Pennsylvania that is climbing in a tree behind your house and i need you to contact authorities." So of course I snap, I told him that he should have called 911. Not me. And that I had recorded the whole conversation and would be reporting that to authorities for scamming people. Then he proceeded to say no no, i was just joking.  Begged me not to report it. And told me it would make his life miserable if i did. So i told him, as long as he takes me out of their database and never call again he would be fine.

I just got a call from this number saying the something tell me that they are going to come to my job and arrest me for some unpaid loan which I don't have any... so beware they are liars 903-956-0443

9039560443 called my job # sd they are calling from allen & smith lawfirm ( with an indian accent ) YAH OKAY! "  that they had 3 cases against me and if i dont cb i will be arrested and locked up? and if im found Guilty i will be behind bars? ???

i got the call in morning tell me that they will serve me papers stating that american cash is suiting you for 1700.00 for one loan, i know it it was scam when i change the story around i had 3 loans at time of this call and they were getting paid every two weeks.

I got the same call as Kristina. I do have 2 places that I have payday loans from, but both of them have been getting their payments, so I have no idea what this one is about.  I just delete it because I know I haven't done anything that would require an attorney.

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AS WELL THEY HAD ALL MY INFO AND SAID THE SAME THING BUT I CALLED MY AUNT WHO WORKS FOR THE FBI AND IN THE MORNING I AM CONTACTING THE ATTORNEY GENERAL IN REGARDS TO THIS. WHAT WAS THE ONLINE PAYDAY PLACE THEY SAY YOU GOT A LOAN FROM
