Jim wilshare called requesting 2000 ft of pipe needed to be shipped to Austria.  Voice sounded Nigerian.....shipping company manager sounded Nigerian....red flags up right a way.  First Jim would contact shipper then next phone call he said for me to call shipper and he would pay by cc.  I realized this joker was 3 things....stupid, a scammer.....you fill in the blank.

Got a message from a Peter Cook thru the supervisor to get 800 square feet of Bruce solid flooring. He wanted to have it shipped thru coastlinerslogistics@gmail.com, did research, no such company exists. I have friends in the shipping biz in Long Beach. I asked about the Limon Corp. Ltd out of Sao Paulo Brasil. No such company. A similar company exists in Israel. The so called agent for the corporation is using this email to contact us ppg2727@gmail.com. under the name Peter Cook the English actor. No title or agent contact information. It seems as if they have a hard time understanding English. The guy that called me from the shipping company Coastliners named Andres Lopez has a heavy Portuguese accent. I found similar scams all over the net and with the same type accent from Brazil. The numbers they use are the magic jack phone. The shipping company guy Andres Lopez, when he spoke with me, could barely understand what I told him. Also, it sounded like he was in a private home. I could hear a couple of kids and a television playing in the background. LOL

I received an email from a Robert Morris looking for granite slabs to be shipped to Hungry, I did my job and provided him with the information he requested. Knowing that this might be a scam I told him he would have to pay for the freight before any material was ordered, I was told his wife was in the hospital and he needed my help. I asked him many questions to catch him in the lie before telling him there was nothing I could do, he said he would pay for the shipping and call me back but I highly doubt it. He First called me from 916-251-9714.  

The person from this number claimed to be Jim Parker.  He wanted to buy and air conditioning system with out labor to install.  Then he increased to 2 complete systems.  He wanted me to contact a specific shipping company and pay for the shipment.  He paid me and I wired the required money to the shipping company.  Before you say way to go dumb @#$.  I Googled the shipping company and the man he referenced (Gary Clark of Protrack logistics) was there with a nice picture.  I'm currently waiting for my bank to investigate where the money came from to see if it was legit but form reading these posts I don't think it will be.

Got a call from this guy, he said his name was  Glenn Gustavo.  He wanted to purchase $10,000.00 worth of Bruce Hardwood, and ship it using a specific Freight company called Madonna Freight Services.  the freight alone cost $6,000.0 to Brazil, which is very very high, He wants me to wire the funds of the freight charges $6,000.00 to a bank in Ghana in Africa right away.

It is a scam, be careful do not wire any funds, most freight company will invoice you once the shipment is picked up and transported to the final destination, not only that but give you 30 days to pay.     The number he called me from is a Magic Jack number which could be installed anywhere in the world.  He has a Gmail address  modannafreight@gmail.com 917-477-5355

Yse!!! This same individual is trying to scam 350 lbs of coffee off me! First he says his name is Vincente Hernadez (no n) and then it's Joe Cole. Wants coffee shipped to Trinidad. Will "pay" by credit card. Let him know shipping. Yadayada.

Wow.  Thank you all for posting.  He has been trying to buy 1,000 blank t-shirts from us.  
We new it was fishy from the first phone call, but this confirms it!
We never received an email, but have received phone calls from him.  
He also called us from 904-206-8822.

Got the same email.  Again. Responded that I would need a working phone number to place the order and he actually called me and gave me this phone number.

Yup he hit us today. I asked him about showing up as a scam and he says(in email) that he has no idea why. I told him to call in person if he want s to move forward and we only deliver locally and never ship out of the area. I wonder if he will call :-)

Just got hit by these guys via email (but I was one step ahead and didn't bite, knew it was a scam) but I
thought I would put their info out there for others.

didn't care how much fees and taxes were......but claimed needed product asap for hotel, he ownsand  would use his own shipping company (see below) to pick up from us, would not give an address for shipping company, if you look online for them they don't exist. If we bought this line about his company and shipping
asap by using whatever charge card they produced we would be out abt $6000.......BE CAREFUL

He attempts to pay via credit card and obviously this is not his first round-about with scamming.

I got a call this morning. A man asked if we sold mirrors (we are a glass company) and I said yes, he then asked if I accept credit cards and I said "NO.". He then stopped talking and I guess hung up on me. I heard about this scam on glass companies a couple of years ago where someone ordered large quantities of custom cut glass then the company was left holding worthless product.

We got a similar message, but from Mark Holland.  All other contact information matches.  I've attached a copy of the correspondence.

I have received the same emails and phone calls for custom banners to be shipped to Greece. There is also no such freight forwarding company by the name of Cordillia Logistics.

Thanks to your site I did not get caught by this scam. I found the ma doing the same scam under the 404-826-0140 phone number.

He called our company wanting 40 banners. I gave him the quote and sent him the all the information then he told me he wanted to use a vendor he knew to send it to Greece. The freight had to be paid via bank transfer or money order. When I told him I would prefer that he pay them direct he called to tell me he just go an urgent message from his wife and she was hospitalized and he had to fly out that night and needed me to handle that freight transaction.

I then searched the web and found your site. he was listed under the number above but all the other information matched
