OMG I got the same phone call.  These people also keep referring to 9/11 at the end of the call.  They claim I took out a payday loan which I didn't and that they are going to prosecute me and that I better get a lawyer.  They also spoke to my fiance and they were saying derogetory comments.  One for instance was you can suck my D_ _ _ _.  There were other comments which I won't go into detail.  I spoke to a private investigator.  He told me it's a scam!  Be careful.  One more thing, they can only look you up under your phone that they called you on.

i received a call at my place of employment from this jason hunt guy saying i was a prime suspect of check fraud.  he said i got payday loans online and never payed them back and if i didn't cooperate papers were being filed with my local county today to prosecute me.  first of all, he could not give me any information about me accept an old account number and he could not even tell me where he was from except the department of crimes investigations.  so lame!  this guy is obviously scamming. he said we could settle today with a payment with no further action being taken against me.

omg! the same thing happened to me.  he called my work and said i was going to be arrested and the only way i could avoid ti was to make a payment over the phone.  i was so scared i almost did.  i just tried to stay calm though and think. so i started asking him some questions and he could not answer them.  when i ask where he was from he said department of crime investigations and would say for what company or anthing.  if he calls you don't give him info or money that is all he is trying to do is get money.

I feel you guys pain.  I had the same thing happen to me yesterday.  Jason Hunt called me at work in the morning and told me I was a prime suspect in a check fraud investigation from getting payday loans online and not paying them back and he was from the department of crimes investigations.  I kept asking him for who or what company he would not tell me.  He said his name was officer Jason Hunt so I asked what his badge number was or what police department he worked for and all he said was i needed to listen because i was under investigation.  He told me the debt could be settled with a payment and i would not go to jail.  i am so glad my brother came across this site now i know it was all a scam.

I got a call from an "Alan Parker" who claimed that my friend owed a lot of money and she was to call him back immediately at 904-222-8310. I asked him how he got my name and number, and he said he couldn't tell, but I was listed as a reference for my friend, and he needed to get in touch with her right away. I don't know but I'm thinking it's a scam after looking at this website. I was all ready to call a lawyer because I don't have time for games :(

I just received a call from "Jeffrey Hamilton". He stated that this was a legal matter and that I should call back right away and if I didn't he would assume I was ignoring the "situation" and futher action would be taking. He also stated that my name & number was giving to him as a reference for a friend. Now this is where it gets tricky because the number he called is not my number, its a friends cell that I've used in the past & they gave me the heads up on all of this so...too much going on in the world to mess with people & try to take advantage when we all are at a all time low okay...get "GOD" in your life & some real business okay!!!

Same thing happened to me from a guy named "Samuel" I couldn't understand his last name. He seemed to be Indian from his accent. He stated I owed an Internet Loan Company $2000, but they would settle for $400 if I paid right then. He knew my home address and even my work number. I do not owe any Internet Loan company, so I knew something was wrong.

So I just got a call this morning and I didnt ans because I didnt know the number so it went to voice mail it was a lady by the name of Betsy Johnson saying it was regarding a crime investagtion. Well right after she called my friend asking for me and try to threaten my friend who lives in a whole different state. When I called I asked to speak to someone who speaks clear english and then I got a "manager" who had a indian accent I asked him were they were located he said Flordia!(Yea Right!) And I asked him are you sure you are in Flordia or India and he couldnt understand the question then I told him I wanted to speak to an american he sent me over to some other Indian man and then I was hung up on

I just got a call from this Samual Bishop, he is Indian... DOT not FEATHER, and he was calling about my friend. I took down his name and number, then ended the call. I then called my friend and told him about the person who called. He said he'd call them back. Thinking something wasn't right, I googled their number and found this site. SO glad I found it, because I was able to call my buddy back before he fell for their scam.

This guy, Brian Taylor, called me NONSTOP!! So I finally answered him! He gave me a bunch of numbers like 716-200-499 and 904-222-8310... then fax numbers like 206-203-0067 and 206-337-8793. I was ready to give him $300 on Monday. But last time he said I owed $700, but as a settlement I can pay $300. I kept pushing the date on it because I wasn't sure about this. I asked him for my information all the time, he gave me my address and name, and I asked for what company and he said Cash Net, and then I asked him if he had my social, but he said his system couldn't be refreshed. So I was like, okay. But he called today, because I was going to pay them on Monday, and I asked him again for my Social, and he was like, that's not important and we are a real company!! I've taken out loans before through the internet, but I know I've paid them all. Then he said that they were in charged of all the Internet loan companies. It was weird that his name was Brian Taylor, because he was had an Indian accent, and his name sounded American. But maybe he was adopted. But he threatened me and said that they would take me to court and I would be fined $1000 if I didn't pay them back. So it was serious. I was about to send out a Fax that gave "Brian Taylor" authorization to take money out, until something in my GUT said to do more research. I found this website and another website, (http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-716-200-4992)that stated that this guy was a scam. Thank you LORD for my gut feeling that this was fake!!
