Someone answered the phone as "Brad."

I just got a call from them states he was a police office thomas and if i did not call back he will come and arrest me at work or home.

received an overseas call and VM said to have my attorney call "Justin" at 904-239-3964 "immediately" upon receiving his VM...if "Justin" did not hear from me or my attorney, something ominous would happen...and "Justin" wished me "luck".

I just got a call from the same people, but it was from a Ms. Lewis.  I wanted to know what you did. Did you pay them or just get more info.  I am suspicious about paying them because of the western union thing...just sounds a little shady.

Called at work at 1:45 and threatened legal action at my school.

Who are these people???? Since this is the first time i received and heard it..to be honest, it was scary but after reading what you guys went thru with the same number, i feel better. They need to be arrested!!! I hope they call and harass somebody who has real connections to the police department and report them ASAP!!!!

i recieved the same call on 3-20-09 same voice same line well i return the call this am a recording  they have been calling me for 2 years about a payday loan and stating his name is officer thomas rick bush etc.....
very bocust and fraud i wish the police catch up with them soon

i just recieved a call from these guys telling me the sheriffs would be by tomarrow to take me. i asked for a ref number or name/address of agency they were calling for and they refused to give that to me. i recieved the same phone message as most of you. this is BS. its from some cell phone in florida.

They cannot have you arrested or fired from your place of employment.  They are the ones who are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act by misrepresenting themselves as attorney or even from being from a law firm.  They have purchased and are trying to capitalize on third party debts.

Here are the lines they use: "The very second you receive this message", "This issue is time-sensitive", "If you do not return this call the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as this situation unfolds on you". These lines are meant to scare and intimidate you into paying. Oh, and they always give themselves very bland, American-sounding names like "Steve Matthews" or "Mike Smith". It ridiculous...they are reading a script!

These people are ambulance-chasers! They are calling from a call center. Turn the tables on them...tell them you are recording the phone call and ask them to repeat their threats so you can get it on tape! I turned the tables on one of these leeches and by the end of the call, he couldn't remember what alias he'd given me and was so confused about whether he  was a lawyer or not that he finally hung up on me! When I tried calling the number back, it was out of service!

Maybe it I didn't put them out of business but it sure was fun turning the tables on these idiots and listening to them fumble!

They threatend to have me arrested.  They said they were a law firm and that they would pick me up from work on 3/16/09 if I didn't pay them $587.00 today.  I called my attorney and I plan to sue to pants off those people calling harrassing me at work.

I just got the same type of call and I assume they didn't arrest you.  They got me pretty shaken up. I called my attorney.

same thing just happened to me...who are these people? they threatened to come to my place of work and have me arrested...and when I asked them for a phone number for ACS they could not give me one...

Received a call from Advanced Credit Services stating that I had defaulted on a payday loan of $500 in 2007. I never borrowed any money of this type. When I called them back they were rude and threatened me with arrest and firing from my job. I can get no explanation from them regarding this alleged debt and was called a liar and a cheat.
