got a call today on my home phone---asked for my bro-in-law---I called back later, lines were busy

You all gave your numbers to these people whether or not you remember it. It's for a dating service of some sort. Probably a "call center" that calls for a few different services across the nation. Telling them to take you off the list isn't going to do any good. You gave them your number in the first place. You filled out a form and gave them info like your name, age, address, occupation, income, then depending on how patient you are, told them about your love life.

They are just doing their job. Give them a break. Don't give out your phone number online if you don't want it to be called.

Got a call today, did not answer, no message.

904 240 3311 (Florida call) Called and asked if I were so and so (had my correct name)  I said who wants to know?  She said that I had requested some "personal information"   I informed her that I had never requested any such thing and just who the heck was she?  When I pressed for some answers, she hung up.  I tried to call back but line has been very busy for some time now.

I have receved at least 1 call a day at my work direct dial number, from this phone number, for the past several days.  Caller never leaves a message.  Most days caller id shows unknown caller, but today it showed "FLORIDA."

many calls... 2 or 3 times /day I never answer.... they never leave a message. from this number or other variations on the last 4 digits.

Some Scam identified themselves as Matchmakers international. Tried to collect a bunch of Date. Said they were from my area with a "Florida" caller ID.

The previous message was about a call from phone (904)-240-3311.

Caller stated that I had registered on a 30+ dating web site and wanted to discuss this with me.  She stressed that her company was interested in connecting people that were looking for a serious relationship.  I informed her that I was not interested in finding a serious relationship and that she probably didn't want someone like me on their "classy" site.  She didn't know what to say and thanked me for my time.

Received a call from this woman, named "Courtney" that would not indentigy herself

Just got a call from this number today. This is the second telemarketer call to my cell phone in a week. Frankly with a limited number of minutes per month... the last thing I want to do is deal with a telemarketer!

Calls from 904-240-3311 evidently are coming from boiler room sales operation in or around Jacksonville, Florida.  My number is on the DNC list, but still received the call.

The woman quickly introduced herself as a representative from Amore and Amore and went directly into a sales call.  She said she wanted to verify my information that I provided, and quoted an age.  I asked again who she was and with what company.  She said it again quickly went into her routine asking if I was currently single.  I stopped her, asked her to spell out the company name, and then told her I had no idea who they were and that I never had any contact with them in the past.  I told her to remove me from their list, and then she went into asking if I was single and if I was interested in "dating the ladies."  What  a scam!  Obviously they are just collecting info about the callers to sell the info to other companies.  I attempted to look up this so-called company and I couldn't find it anywhere.  I am reporting this number to the FTC and I urge you to do the same.  If you are not registered with the DO NOT CALL registry, here is the link: http://www.ftc.gov/donotcall  
I have been registered for two years now, and this is one of only 4-5 calls I have received since then trying to sell me.

Received 2 calls so far: second one today, on 7/15/08. Didn't answer either one: the caller didn't leave a message either time. (I'm located in Seattle)

904-240-3309 showed up as missed call on cell...no message left....new cell only 2 people know number hell, i don't even know the number yet

Received call from this number.  Didn't answer.  It was Courtney.  Received call from similar number 904-240-3309 the other day ....caller ID masked again, and I didn't think and answered.  It was a woman who refused to identify herself,  but knew my name.  I hung up.

I also recieved a call from this number... I did not answer, but hid my name  from called id and called back. I was directed to a voicemail-box and told the mailbox was full. Their was a womans name and voice .....   Courtney..
