Just before noon today (07/07/10) I recieved a call from 904-257-4106.  I answered said "hello" but got no response from the caller.

Earlier (approx. 30 minutes) I recieved a call from 312-878-5578  "CAREERINSTITUTE".  A male telemarketer calling to see if I wanted to sign up for online courses.  He said that I had requested information - but I had not.  Then he tried to hook me with some "chance to win a free gift" ploy.

I am on a no call list.


Scammers (Staphylococcus aureus) most likely.

I ignored the call.

I got a call from this number while I was hanging out at a deli right across from my school with some friends & my brother. I picked it up wondering who would call me from such a freaky number then the dude answers and is like, "Hello may I speak to Niiko" and I'm like "Yeah, you're talkin to her" and the dude is like I'm here to speak to you about a College thing or whatever and I tell this guy "LISTEN, I think you have the wrong person considering I'm in MIDDLE SCHOOL. Then, he's like "ohh...Well I'm sorry you're too young" and I'm like R U STUPID?? Just looking at my brother like what the heck is wrong with this guy?? I just told him whatev and hanged up. The dude still calls me once in a while but after that, I haven't picked up.

Asked if was interested in some kind of additional schooling.

At  70 am not interested in this.

Very rudely hung up.

Please have them stop calling me please put me on the do not call list

This number just called me once and I told them no thanks I'm still in school, and they didnt call me since that was one week ago.

3 times this weekend, I have received calls from this number. When I answer, they do not speak - when I let it go to my message center, they do not speak. I called the number back, and they let it ring and ring until I ended up with a dial tone. ANNOYING.

I reported the number with the do not call list and encourage everyone to do the same.

I have received 4 calls recently from this phone number with the same MO as the rest of the posts. I called it back and told them, not so nicely, to stop calling me and that I wanted to be taken off the list. They hung up on me so I called them back and said that I was going to report them to the police for harassment and was hung up on again. I called my cell phone carrier who told me that I had 2 options: to change my number or to report it to the police and encourage others to contact the police as well.

the number is 904-257-4106 these people call and stay on the line, i do not want to receive annoying phone calls, will have to report to the do not call do not disturb complaint line..

Just missed a call from that #, thinking Father in FL (904 area code) was sick or something!  So I found this site, thanks for stopping my worry!

unsolicited call to my cell. been spamming me for 3 days now

This number has been calling my home for the past month - all hours of the day and night - my caller id Unknown number - they never leave a message - I am on the do not call list - I want this stopped now.

A man called me from this number saying "Rauk is ready for online courses" and I was like Rauk? And he said yes and then I said hes not here and the man said some cuss words and then hung up! It was VERY strange. Plus, no one lives in this household of the name of Rauk. never heard the name before

What the hell is this call? I received 3 calls from them already, no message left.  Spoke to them once saying that i requested online continue education course, but i didn't!

This number called me so many times. It bothered me. How can I stop it?

i keep getting calls from this number ALL the time... i pick up and hang up but for the first time today i picked up and listened.. for 30 seconds it was complete silence and i hung up... they call my phone about 3 times a day and i get other numbers on top of it calling me... i need to get myself back on the do not call list..

I called the #.  Something about online courses.  I asked them to remove my number.  She said OK.  We will see if she really does or not.

They called for my daughter saying that she'd requested information about a college... hemmed and hawed when I tried to pin down who they were.  The thing is, my daughter passed away six years ago this summer.  This is the second time I've explained this to them, and it's really difficult to continue to receive these calls.

When the "Do Not Call" list came out I made sure that I was on it.  Today these mad people seem to disreguard it.  I think it's time to call and write our Congress and see if we can get rid of these crazy people that have nothing to do but pester people.  Got a call from this number but no message left.

They've called me quite a few times now and either don't leave a message or don't respond when I pick up the phone.  They sit there for about 5 seconds and hang up.  I don't even know if this is a person!

HARASSING CALLS

i got a call no message and when you return a call it rings once with no pickup...I parcially completed pubblishers sweepstakes entry and now recieve lots of emails about schools ...never requested such

They called me and then I called back...The guy sounded unprofessional and then he said he told me that I requested info online about online college.Then he couldn't tell me what online degree or school were he called from....that was BS call.. I told him to remove my name from the list. Pendejo del carajo!

They called for my wife, saying she requested information on a college online.  Only thing is, she didn't.  He could not answer what school, program, or website.  He then said it must have been a mistake and that he will take her off the list.  This is either a bill collector trying to trick you, or a scammer trying to get personal information.  Either way it's garbage.
