If you don't recognize the caller id -- if it's from an area code you don't recognize -- don't answer it.  It's almost always some scammer.

I swear, they must be no penalty at all for breaking the law as long as you do it with a telephone.  All the con men now use the phone to rip people off.

Of course they hang up on you.  They don't have a calling list.  They call EVERY number, one after another, with an illegal robo-dialer.  These people are crooks.  They don't care about the DNC list because --- THEY'RE CROOKS!

All you do by pressing 1 and telling them to add you to do not call is prove that a person will answer and your number just became a more valuable number.  Animals should rot in hell.

Keep getting calls from 904-263-5566....I didn't answer waited to see if I get a voice message and I didn't. I called the number back and I got a message that said the number I was calling is invalid. I am on there do not call list how can I make them stop??????

TOTAL SCAM!  I just got a call from the Credit Card Services.   I answered the call and chose Option 1 to talk to someone.  When I asked how they got my cell number, they gave me this shpeel about my credit card company gave it to them because I qualified for a lower interest rate, like a credit cardd comapny really wants you to lower your interest rate (less money for them).  My credit card company does'nt even have my cell phone number.  When I told him I to remove me from teh calling list he slam the phone down.

Sick and tired of calls from this number, with no messages. I too, work at the hospital and cannot afford to miss any calls of importance;  would appreciate any information to get rid of this nuisance.

You shouldn't even answer a number you don't recognize, let it go to voicemail. Crooks can't scam your voicemail, and you can't negotiate with them to make them stop calling. So if you have to answer, have a whistle handu, and when you get one of the subhumans on the other end BLAST AWAY.

You may have to repeat a few times.

Just received a call also.  Option 1 is to speak to a customer service rep, option 2 is to discontinue them calling you.  When you hit 2 it says "invalid option", so I hit one.  Told them do NOT hang up on me and to take my number off.  The did what I expected, they hung up on me.  I'm sick of getting these messages.  One person told me that I need to get with my credit card companies because they sell our numbers that are on record.  I only have a cell so my only choice is that.

Received call today. As I usually do when I don't recognize the number, especially if it's out of state I answered "Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Fraud Division". They hung up so fast...
What really stinks is they called my cell which means they used a robocaller I believe. I'mon the Do Not Call Registries but the FCC doesn't appear to act on complaints.

Yeah I never pick up for random numbers either, they usually get credit if they make a connection so by answering you actually help them out. So screw em! Let it ring...

They called me and I answered. Automated message saying I've won an opportunity to lower my interest rate. I don't have a credit card, so I pressed 1 to speak with a live operator to tell them to remove me from their calling list. What I was transferred to was a woman, who I am sure was drunk, slurring, "Account services. I said, "I would like you to stop calling me about lowering my interest rate on my credit card because I don't even own a credit card." She slurred back, "I would like for you to stop calling ME." Before I got a chance to say something in return, she hung up.

I have ask you  nicely to stop calling.I am on the national telemarketing do not call list and this is my cell phone . Will  you plese stop calling or do I need to come kick your a**,  you freaking idot

I had a missed call from this number yesterday, they did not leave a message. I'm assuming it's the same as the posts above.

Who needs friends when you have Card Member Services recordings to keep you company on a regular basis!

hi i'm heather from card services etc....   I have been receiving these calls for some time now and have asked them to stop calling (when they don't hang up on me) and to remove our number from their calling list to no avail.  Can anything be done about these harassing calls

i just reported this number to the do not call list. they call me every day about lowering my interest rate on my credit cards, of which i have no balance!  when i push the "2" key to opt out of receiving the calls, it says this is an invalid entry...so i pushed "1" and when John came on the line i very politely explained that i have no credit card balances and please remove me from the list...he hung up on me!

This happened to me, and I sent a complaint online to the FCC, in the hope that, with enough complaints from the smart people who visit this webpage, something will be done about these unsolicited calls.

Received a call from this number this evening.  Have received several in the several months from a 904 number.  Every time it is calling about interest or something about our credit cards.  We don't have any credit cards and don't want any!  It's always from a lady (recorded message) from a Heather.   I wish something could be done about this because my husband thinks every time the phone rings I should answer it!  I don't answer if I don't know the name or number if he isn't home!

No more. I'm sick of getting these. I figure there are two choices: give em fake info until I get theirs or when they answer give the air horn .... seems the second would be more fun. I just had a guy tell me "people in hell want ice water" when I told him I wanted to be removed. Yeah, been to FCC over and over and over. I'll still file. Hasn't done any good so far.

Just got this call, again. This time I pushed one to speak to a person, because pressing two to stop the calls does no work, and when I asked him to take me off the list he told me to " shut the Fu@! up" and then hung up on me.

These bleeding W**KERS!!!  I don't HAVE  any credit cards....I don't WANT any credit cards...I don't have any debt..... Do they always have nothing better to do than call retired people????
  Why isn't anything being done?????????  What good is the "Do Not Call" sign up???????
