I got call from this number but I don't answer my phone if I don't recognize who it is, so I let it go to voice mail.

They left a very confusing message. I couldn't understand most of what the man was saying but I did catch that he said it was very important I call them back. I noticed the call was from Florida, a state I've never been to or know anyone from, so I looked up the number. I found that it belongs to Allen Lewis & Associates, a collection agency that harasses people who have bought musical instruments.

I have never bought, nor do I know how to play a single instrument and I live half way across the country from them so I do not have any idea how they got my number or why they were calling me.

I don't even believe they are a legitimate collection agency. If they call you I think the best thing to do is ignore them and block their number if you are able to.

I just had received a call and caller I'd read "Allen Lewis". The person asked for me by name, then said they were calling for my ex-husband. First question, how did they get my hm ph#, my ex doesn't even know how to get in contact with me. And second question is why did they call back to back until someone picked up? If it's that important leave a msg!
I had a similar call a couple of months back where some lady kept leaving msgs for my ex-husband's ex-girlfriend! Really?! I myself have gotten a few calls within the last couple of weeks threatening with lawsuits and restraint orders.....it's a scam....theses people seem to pop up around the same time every year with the same BS threats....if they can't give u something in writing, and I don't mean an email, and you know you don't owe anyone, call their bluff! Tell them you will call the company yourself and tell them to give you the info....you see them back down real quick! I can't guarantee that will stop the calls (since they resurface under different names until they can get money out of you), but, at least you can see for yourself that it's a scam

This "Allen Lewis & Associates" called my ex husband who was very rude and refused to give any information.  I've never heard of them until now.

This # called my mother in law yesterday, asking is she would help with $$$ for an X daughter in law who needed help...    it sounded like a scam.. I told her do not call them back,  now I can see it was a scam..

I see things have not changed, the caller asked if I knew someone then when I asked what it was about he said I was brown nosing. Haha. What a joke. I hate tough guys on the phone. This work place is filled with a** holes.

The caller left a menacing message to call or have my lawyer call!

The caller asked for someone and became real nasty when questions were asked.  The caller hung up.
