am writing to let you know someone called me saying that i applied for a cash loan ,only line i do nothing on line period

The only information they give me was my P.o box address   number which correct

which i did not

i was  told they had my ss# and as well calif .I.d

they would not  repeat it to me not even the last 2 numbers on either  they said it had to do with private or something.

the only information they give me was the amount of $2,500.

and they said it would be wire to someone that claim to be me.  this week( to day=7-1-2014)

in the  midst  i ask them cancel , the approve loan they refuse

He mention something  about  i had to called BBB to prove it  was and is fraud  

which i know BBB have thing to do with this .

When i insist i did apply for the loan that He said was already approve and ready to wired out.

i insist i did  not and cancel , i do not recall,but He mention to send them a money voucher ,

and that the only way they would cancel it

Got a voice message from this number- Sam Watson extension 203- Heavy Indian Accent. said I was approved for up to $10,000 on a loan I didn't apply for. Filed complaint with the FTC

Got a message from Indian accent that says I was preapproved for a loan I never applied for. I called back and got voice mail. What's the next step?

i receive a call  from cash america phone#1-904-290-3392 on 6-17-2014 saying i had been a approve for a loan , i never apply for,i was told it will be send out western union
they have me ,my correct   addess.
but said they could not give me the last for numbers of my #ss or last 4 numbers of my crive license even thou they said they had it on had,

Today I received a call from a man with a heavy Indian accent.  He said I was approved for a 6K loan.  I explained that I never applied for a loan with Cash America.  He said that he would patch me to the cancellation dept. Then mane identified himself as Danny Ross exchange #112. I asked him for his phone number and he said 904-290-3392, he said they were located in Florida.  He then said I need to purchase a cancellation card from him with a credit card and then that cad would be sent to me and then I would be able to obtain the information on the loan documents.  I explained to him that I would not provide him with my credit card and that I am not going to give him any money to cancel a loan I never applied form.  My gut says this is a total scam.  I told him I would call him back and when I did call the number it went straight to a voice mail that identified themselves as attorney Alex whom also had a heavy Indian accent.

I HAVE GOTTEN SEVERAL OF THESE CALLS!!!
WHEN I CONTACTED  FTC they were of no help because I didn't have a company name. I can and have called this number back several times I always get the same guy call's himself  "chris"  he will even "transfer" me to the "cancelation" lines and I still get him then when I ask for a supervisor he say's he is. but then he cant answer any questions, like where "I applied" or when or the company name nor does he tell me anything useful, just that it's gonna cost me $150 to "cancel" my application.

Received a voicemail from Griffin Thomas of Cash America that I had been approved for a 10K loan which I never applied for.  Before calling the number back I Googled the phone number and found multiple complaints from others regarding the same exact call. This company is a fraud and I won't even waste my time calling them back to argue.  I have credit monitoring and no inquiries have been made.  They are just looking to scam people out of money, don't FALL FOR IT!

Total scam. They told me a got approved for an $8,000 loan that I did not apply for, and that I needed to pay a $450 security deposit to cancel the loan using a green dot money pak card.

SCAM CALL FROM AN INDIAN ACCENT GUY CALLING ABOUT A LOAN. HANGUP!!!

A caller with a middle eastern accent called and said that my loan had been approved. I told them I had not applied for a loan and was concerned that my identity had been stolen. I asked him what information was provided on this $10,000 loan application. He said he could not tell me that because the call was being recorded by the Federal Trade Commission and that he would transfer me to their cancellation department. Moments later I was speaking to another individual(w/middle eastern accent) claiming that a deposit of $50 was needed to cancel the loan otherwise I would be responsible for paying the loan back. (Really!!). He asked me for my address. I said I wasn't giving that out. "What address do you have on the application?" I asked him. He told me the address was in Orlando and could not tell me anymore than that because the call was being recorded. I said I didn't live in Orlando. While we were talking, I got the laptop and I logged into my "Protect my ID" account for any inquiries made on my credit. There was none. I mentioned this to him and he responded by saying they did not need to do a credit check and that the loan was approved based on my income. I told him this whole thing sounds fishy! You verified and approved this loan in my name using false information? How is that possible? He then goes on to say that my information was verified by the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commission. I told him "I don't believe that... that address is false, why would they verified that...why would they have my address and income information to begin with"? "I'm not paying a thing!"... "You call yourselves Cash America and your number is 904-290-3392, is that right?... I gonna have you guys investigated...this WHOLE thing don't sound right" and I hung up.

I received a phone call from this number, said I had been approved for a loan which I had not applied for, he said in order for me to cancel the loan, I needed to get a green dot card from Walmart, radio shack, or walgreens, for $50.00 then call them back to cancel the loan.  I did go to walmart but I did not purchase the card.  They were calling me as I walked through the door, and my husband hung up on them.  tomorrow I will be reporting this as a scam to the police dept.

They called me, and took my money from Green dot money pak card........
now i came to know that i have been scamed..............

Received a call from (904) 290-3392 Eric (indian accent) from Cashamerica, that the loan had been approved.  What loan?  I didn't apply for a loan.  They said I had to pay a $30.00 cancellation fee.  Then I had my g/f call them and tell them that I wasn't going to pay anything.  They called me back and upped the cancellation fee to $50.00.  They said they were from Cash America.  Cash America has a fraud warning on their website.  

I received a call from 9042903392 they stated some one applied for a loan in my name. They had my address but they did not have any banking information or ss# they asked that I should buy a cancelation voucher of 50.00 so that they can cancel the loan and they can report it to FTC.  That is when I was suspicous.  BEAWARE THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDS. they had an indian accent

Got a message on answering machine saying I was approved for a loan of up to $10k.  Tried to call them back got a message saying I had reached Atty Alex.  10 minutes later got a call from them again (very heavy indian accent with lots of noise in the background). first thing they said was what is your name.  told them if i had applied for a loan they should have my name.  asked me why i called and left a voice mail then.  told them i didnt and that maybe someone was trying to steal my identity.  told them i didnt apply for a loan, do not want a loan and they hung up on me.  Said they were from Cash America.

Got a call saying the loan I requested was approved for $10,000.  I never applied for a loan with anyone.  The person said his name was Sam Martin, sound like an Indian.  He asked for my bank account number so he could have the funds deposited into my account.  I told him I would catch a plane to pick up the money myself, and asked for his address.  I do not know if this will help or not but he provided an address of 3636 Northampton - Suite. 206.

Received a call saying I had been approved for $10,000 loan - did not apply for a loan.  Several other people in the background (all with India accents) were giving this same information and callback number to other people.

the caller claimed that I had been approved for a loan that I never applied for. When I called from a landline, they hung up on me.
