I received messages from the same company but the number comes in blocked and she left a nasty message with a call back number of 830-612-1022. I did not answer my cell and she left her name as Dana Clark. She then called my office number and left same message with name of Katie Morgan. It is definately the same woman. I will not call her back and I am filing a complaint with FTC and antorney general. I have also call Nationwide investigations which is a company out of New York who has never heard of this lady and does investigations into missing persons and wrongful death cases.

Look out, now they have a new phone number and name "Fraud Investigations" 855-306-5671 and 855-306-5672. I know this because they are now calling my house with the new number, but still asking for the same fake person that they insist lives at my house, and still making the same threats . If you google the new number, there are more posts of a similar nature.

Sending money to crooks after hearing a threat is the reason why these crooks pretending to be debt collectors are still in business. On top of it, people should never apply for a loan through loan sharks. Never trust em.

My husband got a call from this number and claimed to be Nationwide Investigators. They wanted money to be sent thru money gram due to a payday loan from 2001. They told him if he does not pay a warrant will be issued out for his arrest by tomorrow morning. My husband then calls me ASAP because I work with the Sheriffs and i started my ow investigation and came upon this page. I have called the number and first said to be an attorneys office then later says Nationwide Investigators.Now I know they are fake people & I do work at Maricopa County Sheriff Department in Phoenix Arizona & I will make sure they dont call him again.

No as far as I know, no one have gotten into trouble. They call making threats and harassing people to scare them.

These people called me a few days ago I'm so glad I looked them up and found this forum I was going to pay $550 this Friday but I have no warrants out for my arrest like these people said I did. They will not be getting any of my money! Don't believe these people it's a scam!!!

I feel your pain and agree thier tactics are wrong, however, if you scum bags would have paid your payday loans, they wouldnt be calling you.  They have to play dirty with scum bags that intentionally borrow money that they have no intention of paying back.  Its a shame they cant throw you in jail.  Shame on you! you scumbags.

Been receiving calls from "Katie Scott" as well phone number comes up as 904-683-6271.  She is looking for someone who doesn't live here.  I am turning this over to the police because there are laws against stalkers. For this person to contact me they had to look up my personal information and the information of the previous owner of our home.  That's a little more than just creepy.  Thanks for the address:

Katie Scott telephone my private home number many times.  Looking for a local drug dealer Margaret North.
Katie Scott said she was looking for Margaret (ailas Peggy) in connection with Identify theft.  After some reasearch I discovered she had to have done a US Search for a buck95 to get a list of people that may have known North .  Even when she was a child.  She said she was going to turn over the information to the states attorneys office.  But I could hear childern playing in the back ground.  Odd.

I actually spoke to  " Katie Scott"   yesterday again.  She called me  and I made sure I answered this time.   I asked her for the address to send the money I owe,  of course she would not give it to me. She said, and I quote  "thats not how we do it"     I said  "oh I bet!"     I said  "well,  I just happen to be at the police department,  because I was curious about these "charges"  you have supposedly filed,  and officer Miller  who is standing right here,  would like to ask you a few questions"     I handed the phone to my husband,    she screamed something in the phone and hung up!!!    That felt great.  =)

I not only got a call earlier today,  but someone named Katie Scott (a fake name, no doubt)  went down my Facebook list.  Harassing friends,  people who I rarely talk to.  She called them at home AND at work, asking them questions about me and and saying that it has to do with "fraud"  or "identity theft."      After reading all of these comments  I am 100% sure it is a scam.    They need to be stopped.

Received a message at work saying my name was in an identity theft & to call the investigator katie Scott @ 904-329-1740 ext 204. The individual also had a case number. I decided to google the phone number first & was lead to this page. I will  be calling the police to report it.

They left a message with my sister saying if i didnt return call i would have a judgement against me when I returned call they said if I didnt pay by noon i would be served and arrested I told them I wouldnt have any money til next week they told me to stay put someone was on there way to pick me up

Flat out says Serious Fraud Charges being filed today. lol  What a scammer, can not wait till she calls back going to mess with her. This company called (caller id said 904-379-7366) and it was someone named Investigator Jackson calling from Investigations Unit for Fraud.  They left a message stating I was listed as an affiliate for an account listed under my mom.  They gave the 1740 number ext 208 and asked me to call them back referring to a ref # provided...only problem is that I know my mom has horrible credit and may have used my name in the past....not calling them back but don't like the idea my name is tied into this?!!
