Calling to tell me they were having good sell on my medication.  I said "what medication?".  They said, "Don't you take any medication?"  I said "No."  Next thing I heard was click.  When they called today I hung up on them before they could hang up on me.  Tomorrow (or later tonight when they call) I will act like I am getting the person on the phone they wish to talk to.  I will just keep them hanging and wasting their time like they waste mine.

They called me this morning at 10:26am.. Some Indian accented man. I told him to take me off his list because this is a cellphone. He said the government wanted to send me $500 for the next 6 months. All I had to do was give him my bank information and verify my name. I hung up on him. Then they called back at 11:57am and didn't leave a message since I didn't answer. I tried to call them back and it says the number is disconnected.

I'm on the phone with my cell phone company and they suggest I called the police.  But if you say that they aren't going to do anything that's crazy.  My phone providers looking up something to block the number.  But I'm so pissed off that they keep calling me.  It's ridiculous and out of control.

Some Indian guy, I could barely understand him, said he was caling from the social security.  He said I qualified for a government grant, something like $6000.  All he needed was my bank info(state of bank, account #,etc..).  I had gotten plenty of calls from jack%$$es like this before, so I thought I would screw around with him.  I said i would be happy to accept the money but I don't give out bank info over the phone.  He gave me a bunch of bull $hit about the line being secure, it is an electronic check, don't worry its the US government etc...I yelled at him and told him not to call back.  I still got calls from more Indian people from the "Social Secutity Service". I guess social security only hires Indians.

I reveived a call this morining on my cell phone from a man (Indian accent) who stated that he was calling from the SSN Federal Government office.  He stated that because they have record that I have paid my taxes on time that I would be receiving a "refund" from the state in my bank accoung of $500 per week for 6 weeks.  I said "ok" - he stated that he needed to verify my address, and he READ ME MY ACTUAL ADDRESS!  He then told me that after he was done he would transfer me to an automated line that would give me a 7-digit confirmation for my bank to verify that the deposits were being made.  I asked him how I would know for sure that he was from the Federal Government, he told me that he stated he was.  I explained that this meant nothing to me and again I asked how I could tell that he was from the Federal Government and then he said that he told me that the call was being recorded for my protection and his.  I told him that he NEVER stated before that the call was being recorded and I asked for a supervisor.  At first the call seemed to go dead... then another gentlemen got on the phone (Indian accent).  He stated that he was going to "verify" my banking informaiton.  I explained that I would not be giving out my banking information, but instead wanted to verify that they were indeed from the federal government.  They hung up on me.  I contacted my phone company (ATT) and they told me that there is NOTHING they can do except change my phone number for free.  I explained that I have had this business number for years and changing it will affect my job.  They told me that I should immediately call the police, ssn office and all of the credit agencies to allert them that my identity has been potentially stollen.  This is so crazy!!!

I just wanted to let all of you know that this company has a real number that I got out of them.  The number is 954-904-5610.   I have put it in my grizzly dialer and it is now calling them 10 times a minute for the next 30 days.  I have basically shut down their system for the net thirty days.

Please let me know if the calls stop for the next 30 days.  If they do then I will just set them up to call them forever.  If you can get more number from them and let me know I will set them into the system.

Location County Provider Phone Type
Jacksonville, FL Duval Comcast Phone Of Florida, Llc - Fl LandLine

Their 'real' phone number is 954-904-5610, and I found this:

Same SSA scam calls as others are saying.  Indian guy asking for my mother, yet calling her him.  Difference was he said we'd be recieving a "legal" letter and check in the mail.  He wasn't asking for any acct #s.
For those of you that are wondering how they got your "unlisted" or "cell" numbers, I used to work for a research company where my job was to find updated info for people(mainly military) that had participated in studies(mainly health studies that had to do with the 9/11 stuff and desert storm issues)in the past.  We used multiple resources(mainly websites like accurint, experian, and fast data) to get updated #s and addresses for these people so we could contact them to see if they wanted to participate in another round(usually more than 3yrs without contact to them).  How these sites work is anytime you put anything down for credit apps, job apps, pizza hut asking for your addr & #, anything where you put it down, these #s are sold to other companies which in turn sell them to companies like this that charge people to access your info.  So, if you've ever given out your # &/or addr to anyone really, it's not unlisted and cell phones aren't off limits.  Also, amazingly, we used to contact neighbors, relatives, and all associates these people have ever listed on anything.... just an fyi for future reference..... also calling credit bureaus to "opt-out"(you won't get those "pre-approved" card offers anymore either) will help with this as well.  These rules also applied for e-mail addresses as well.  Trying to keep this in mind and using these techniques will help with keeping these scammers outta your life and also telemarketers too lol.

I had been chosen to win a check from Social Security office for $500 and a free medical card.  The just needed my bank account number.  I told them I wouldn't give out that information to an incoming call, could I have their customer service number or speak with a manager. "We don't have managers and nobody is in charge here." After still refusing to give out my information, not even my name-I am at my parent's house-"Leon" told me that the number was 1-877-fuck-you, and hung up.

These jokers (PETE) have called me 4 times today. Told them this morning that I was not interested and would not be interested until they put something in writing, on SSA letterhead, with a phone number and contact for whom I could call and verify that this was a Scam. They hung up! Called me back 2 hours later and told me again that I qualify for the $500/month, just give me your banking info. Told them I'm not interested. They have called me 2 more times. Have searched the number. This is a residential line whose provider is Comcast. This is definitely a scam!! We're contacting authorities now. My husband is online with Comcast as I type. He's PO'd!!! This is absurd!!!

This idiot "Steven" claimed he was from the Social Security Administration.  He knows my full name, address, and phone number.  I don't know what else he knows.  After he asked for my bank account number, I asked for a toll free number so I could call and verify that the call was legit. He said he would give me the number after I gave him my account information.  I said "no" and he started yelling at me saying he was wasting his time trying to help me.  He made me feel guilty and I almost gave in.  Lucky my street smarts told me to talk back and hang up.  I'm a government employee too and I know for a fact that government notices aren't handled this way with consumers.  Don't ever give out personal information via emails or telephone.

I have received many calls from this number.  The man on the line said that he is calling from Washington DC from the "Social Security Administration Department" and that i receive 500 USD for 6 months from the US Gov't.  I asked for a letter stating that he was from the Social Security office be sent to me with official letterhead explaining why I was selected and what terms apply.  He dodged my request for a few minutes and eventually hung up.  Does anyone know how to get them to stop calling?
