caller says he is from the us government (obviously not) says i get a free $500 a month for paying my taxes on time and having no criminal record. they call me 4 or five times a day, most of the time they hang up on me.

They also called me yesterday but I wasn't near my phone.  They called again today, some Indian guy told me that he was from the Social Security Admin. and that I was entitled to $500 for the next 6 months, I quickly told him that I researched his number and knew it was a scam and hung up.  They also called again a few moments ago

This male keep calling my cell and told me that I also am qualified for this $500 from US Social Security Administration. I didnt believe him because it didnt sound right. He have a Indian speaking. I keep telling them I dont want it and am not interested but they keep calling. Today is my 5th time recieving calls from them even though I keep telling them to stop!

A man called on 1-5-07 from 904-342-6602 and said,he was from social security and that I would get 500.00 into my accountfor 5 months and 100.00 gas voucher and that needed my account number,and like a dummy I gave it to him and then I called the number back and it wasnt in service,so i called my bank and hurry up and  closed my account.the other number you can call them back is 1-866-407-1029 is a real number to cuz them out.

caller claimed to be with social security office & i was due a refund. they needed by bank info to deposit the refund amount $500 for the next 6 months. when i said please mail me a check they hung up.

I got one of those calls this morning and only answered the phone because I was annoyed that they have been calling and have not been leaving a message.
A guy with a foreign accent tells me that he is from the Social Security Administrator. (I'm thinking yeah right as if the SSA would hire someone obviously not from my country to talk to me.)
He did not ask for my bank account number but ask for my zipcode, phone number, and name then told me they were going to deposit 500 dollars in my bank account over the next few months for filing my taxes on time. (As if the SSA has anything to do with that.)
He told me he was going to switch me over to his verification department and I waited to see what they had to say but there was nothing on the line so I hung up because it was a waste of my time to begin with.

He called me early this morning. Since I had been asleep, I was confused by the call. I guess he got frustrated with me because I wasn't responding to the social security thing  and started asking me if I wanted to have sex with him. He actually asked a few times before I realized what he said, then I hung up.

keep getting calls from this #.  Only answered once and the foreign-voiced man wanted to refill my weight loss medication.  He mispronounced my name, and I don't take any weight loss medication.  I hung up on him, and got another call from the same # this evening.

Snotty, ESL speaker claimed to be from Social Security Adminstration. I said I was reporting him immediately and hung up

I just received a call from this fool trying to scam me for my bank account number... also, he was saying everything and doing everything that was listed above...  I told him it was against the law to ask for any type of bank information over the phone.  He refused to provide me with any SSA or US documentation.  I will call the police next time he calls. Some guy with an indian accent.  DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE!!! THIS IS A SCAM

He's been calling me for two days and he found out my two year old daughter's name....how is he getting all of this info?  I wish there was help for this.

They told me I won a 500 dollar month prize from social security. That had to be deposited in my bank account for paying my taxes on time and not having a criminal record.

This Indian guy called me for days and I didn't answer the phone. he never left a message. Today he calls me and I answer the phone. He said he was calling from thr Social Security Department and that I qualified for a $500 refund from the IRS that will deposited on my bank account. I followed along and gave him a different account number to see where this was going? after I gave him my "info", he said he was transfering me over to his manager to verified all the info. his manager turn out to be a tape recorder and if I didn't answer to on the questions, he would come online and told me what I would have to say back. when we finish all this he gave me a verifoication ID # an this number 1866 920 9201. I called back those two numbers and they are DISCONNECTED.

I just recently had a phone call by this same number. I don't answer any calls that I don't know. I decided to look it up and this is where I am. Thanks for the information.

Indian guy claiming I won 500 dollars from social security. I laughed and said  " what is this? a scam?".. he quoted "why you laugh?you dont understand?you idiot".. i then replied "congrats, you have just been tracked down on our gps navigation system.." all i heard after was "......................."

indian lady called us about an hour ago and gave us the same story they r giving the rest of u who was scammed as well. saying they owed us 500.00 a month for the next 6 mths due to back pay of social security and the tax office. it sounded too good to b true until they said we will b recieving a gas voucher of 100.00 in the mail as well. that sounded a lil weird and i started to get worried cause they already had our info. tried to call the number back and they said it was disconnected. we also had a savings acct which they would not deposit the check in that due to company policy. we contacted our bank right away and closed everything so hopefully all of u have done the same thing. and they were real persistent as well. they have called us several times the past few weeks and we never answered the call till today. its just weird that these people already had our info. all they needed was the checking acct info, how in the hell did they get it????

These people keep calling me as early at 0500 am until 8:30pm. When I finally aswered, I got this woman with a very thick "Indian" accent, she said she was from Social Security office and that because I always paid my taxes on time, I had been selected as a winner of $500.00 a month for the next 6 months. Apparently she had my name and address but she wanted to give me a confirmation number so that I can get my money in my account. I said I was going to call SSA to find out then she hung up. I called SSA and this is a scam. Today they called me again and as soon as I told them I had contacted SSA they hung up.

These people called me about 10 times this past saturday.  Again on Monday when you try to call it says number disconnected.  How can this be if they just called from this number.  Same as other comment Indian accent used SS was going to send me a check for 500.00 wanted my bank information.

I have been getting calls since the second week in January.  I reported it to my wireless carrier. The calls are coming from the U.K.  I also reported it to the POSA Hotline.  This is an AT&T department that attempts to find the perpetrators.  What these scam artists are doing is ILLEGAL.

Called several times in the last 2 days yesterday said I won $500 for SS and wanted banking information.  Has called twice today and even left message on vm.

This idiot has been calling my wife's cell phone so I got on and pretended I was her.  When he was confirming my address he said the state was C-O instead of saying Colorado.  So I asked him what CO stood for and he says to me, "you don't know what CO stands for??, and I switched back to my manly man voice and said, "No YOU don't know what CO stands for you damned criminal!!!" I really hope he calls again so I can screw with him some more.  It is damned scary that these idiots know so much about us.

Have been called from this number and another number. The same foreigner is the one that is calling. He is telling me i will be getting $500.00 a month for the next 6 months for someloan or grant. He has told me several times he is from the social security office.

This INDIAN guy has been calling my home number for the past MONTH. He would call about 4 time a day and would never leave messages. Other times he would call me from 0119043426602 and most times 19043426602 and my caller ID reads as: Wizards Online. When I call those number, it's either "all lines are busy" or sometimes "busy" signal! What the hell to those f@ Indian people want? ---? Curry!?

Just recieved a call from 19043426602.  It was the India guy and he told me that my perscription was ready to be filled should he go ahead and get that filled for me.  I said no then I said wait can you tell me what med this is??  Then the phone went dead and yes he had hung up on me.  What do I do???

Good when you bust these guys let me know cause Im going to sue the s**t outa them!  I had liek $5 in my account and for some reason after giving them my account info it was gone. The bank is also doing what they can now too.

Well I have just become a member of the call from the guy with the Indian accent, you have won money from Social Security Club.  I get a call everyday! I'm busy working, and i get this stupid call severl times a day.  Today when they called I told them I was going to call the authorities.  The person didn't act like he knew what I was talking about.  When I told him I was going to call the FBI, he hung so fast, I didn't realize he was gone.  The FBI suggested I call my carrier.  I actually had to change my cell phone number.  The FBI also states these calls are answered "anywhere" in the world.  I suggest everyone start calling the authorities.  If we all do it, they are bound to be caught at some time

I didn't answer. I may or may not answer next time they call. What a bunch of scumbag crooks. Wish I could BLOCK individual phone numbers like I do on email.
