This has actually been happening to my bf for a long time now.  As previously described, a man with a very thick Middle Eastern accent calls frequently. The caller ID has even showed up as our local sheriff's department, and the jerk claims to BE our local sheriff (with THAT accent?! HA!).  In one particular message he left, he states that my bf has had a federal complaint filed against him and that he has two options:  to turn himself in to the local police or contact "Officer Tom O'Bryan" (Obrien?) at 904-352-8730 to resolve the matter.  More recently the calls have come in at his place of employment, saying officers will be there "on Friday at noon to arrest him".    It just needs to stop.  Even though we know it's a scam, it's harassment, and these people need to be prosecuted.

Been calling them at least 10 times a day and just either let their VM run out or just say nothing. Starting yesterday, the voicejack customer you are trying to reach is not available...Guess Richard Bell hasn't paid his bill.

I received this same message today. They knew everything about me, including the last four numbers of my ss#. I called my local police and reported it. They do know everything. It scares me. Because we know they are very bad people. There is no telling what they are capable of. Report this to everyone possible, including your local news. It would scare our elderly.

I call them 20 times a day just to screw with them. I don't say a word.  Just to annoy them. and if I get their answering machine, I just let it run out...lol. Everyone needs to do this.

I think we can all agree that this is NOT the U.S. Legal Services/Law Firm and you are NOT getting arrested.  I also just received a call from "Richard Bell" which I am sure it is not his real name.  He left a message for me and could not even pronounce my name correctly and believe me, my name is common.  He also used an address that I have not lived at for years.  Please read all of these posts and DO NOT call them back or god forbid send or give them money.  As stated I very much doubt the Sheriff's Department would have someone call you and let you know that you are going to be arrested the next day.  Be careful of scammers everyone, unforutnately this is the way THEY have chosen to make money, which is just sad and unfortunate.

I got a call from this number by an individual named Richard Bell stating I would be arrested Monday morning. He said he works for US Legal services. So I called the number listed on the company web site for the US Legal services. The receptionist that answered the phone explained they have a fraud case opened due to this individual using the name of the law firm. She said its a scam, and no one by that name works for this company.

These people called me and tried to tell me that i was going to be arrested tomorrow because some cash advance place ( that i have NEVER used) was filing a lawsuit against me. He refused to tell me how he got my information and in a very thick indian accent told me his name was richard bell. He couldn't even pronounce my name he said daneel not daniel...do these people not have better things to do???

Received same phone call about owing money to a cash advance company from two people with heavy indian accents. Told me same crap about owing some company that didn't get paid back in Nov. and that they had a warrant out for my arrest. New number they are using is 408-357-0609. Same MO as above though, pay us through western union or money gram to guess who, Michael Briscoe. I got the same call today telling me I had to pay or go to jail for 30 days, they said send a western union to a heather mason in vidella, Georgia or I would be arrested. Are these people for real?

they called my house and told my wife that if didn't call them that the police would be at my house the next day to arrest me,so i gave them a call they where so rude.so i called the company that they said i owe money to and the company didn't have my s.s number on file and the lacy i talked to at the company also told me that it was a scam and she told me every thing that they would say for you pay them money.

This caller said a warrant was issued for my arrest and the sherriff would be over to arrest me in the morning. Hmm! He never showed. I knew it was a scam the minute I heard it!
