Offshore scam outfit.  Do not give any credit card info to them!!

The person that called (Brent) called me "Fu....ng Bi...ch"after I told  him I was not interested in receiving the credit services. I felt totally disrespected and discriminated for my spanish accent. I hope there is someone that can stop these things from happening. I had just received the news of a death in the family and the call was really unconvenient. The person identified himself as a representative from Credit Services and also as part of Equifax. When I tried to contact the number again, It appeared as disconnected or no longer in service. It should be illigal to make phone calls like this, and the companies that receive reports like this one should no longer have a licence to call people's phones.

Yup, been receiving calls from both numbers for days. Just filed a complaint with the DNC list.

Got a call from this number and did not answer because I didn't recognize the number.  Called the number back a few hours later and received a message that this number was not connected/or no longer in service.  Odd . . . .

When you call this number back it has been disconnected. How do you get it to stop

Got call from them wanting to lower my credit card rates, all I needed was to have $4000 in cash as backup. When I asked how they got my number, they hung up. Reported to donotcall.gov.

I received a call from this number and responded but there was no response from the caller. They hung up.

Same thing- since I only had this number a short while I asked who they were trying to reach, to make sure it wasn't the previous phone number owners. They hung up. When I tried to call back, I first got a busy signal. Tried again and I  got a message that the number was no longer in service. Pretty quick so I assume they just use a recording as it does not say the actual number!

I had this number a minute when it rang and the installer said it would be a check from his company and it was a summons for the people who had the number before. I put it on the do not call list. That is why I asked what party the company was trying to reach, not because I thought it was a scam. But obviously I hit a nerve just by asking.

I received a call from this number and when I looked it up online it appears to be a scam of some kind.  I do not recognize this number and am pretty sure my cell phone is on the do not call list.

call to lower rate on your credit cards, a scam for sure, these calls everyday on my cell with no caller ID just the phone number. I am on do not call list

I just got a phone call from this number but did not answer because I was on another line with a more important call. No message was left. I am also on the DNC list.

If you do not have call blocking start using google voice and giving out that number instead. At least you will be able to have a blocking list and free voice mail and call screening. This scamming crap is really getting out of hand and sad that counter measures are needed by the innocent.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone today but didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the caller. I'm on the DNC list and have gotten more than a few of these types of scam calls before and hate dealing with them. A little bit of additional information to help others avoid this kind of thing is I did a search on the phone number and it came up as belonging to F BYRD in Jacksonville, FL. I'm filing a complaint with the DNC and also the FTC (federal trade commission). AVOID THESE CON ARTISTS!!!

These idiots keep calling not only my home phone but minutes later my cell. They claim they are a division of Equifax! They continue on to say their company name is card services and they can reduce a credit card percentage to 3 %. Then when i ask for a call back number they hang up. this has been happenig 4 months and months....................

Just got this call and immediately tried to call it back but it says the number is disconnected.  What? They JUST tried to call me.  How can it be disconnected?? How do they have my number.  I am also on the DNC list.

Yes, they keep calling with numbers that are not in service.  This is a service that advertises itself as CARDSERVICES.  Depending on the amount of time you are ABLE to spend on the phone with them before they hang up, they want to know your current credit card balances, average interest rate and then what cards you have the balances on.  When you ask for their call back number they instantly disconnect, when you ask them to wait a second they instantly disconnect. If you ask for them to take you off their call list, they will also instantly disconnect. I think I am going to start using a police whistle on them first. Does anyone know if that is illegal?

I check on these calls via the internet.  Thank you everyone for posting who they are.
However, I don't know why everyone gets so upset.  Once you learn who it is; pick up and hang up.  You don't have to listen to the phone ringing.  Breathe deeply.  Or better yet, sometimes I just answer and put the phone down...I let them listen to my life..  It's their dime you are spending.  Enjoy it!  Silly rabbit.
