I use to work for a nonprofit fundraiser and that's probably who called you do not call list do not include fundraisers at all  if you want a fundraiser to take you off of their list ask to speak with their supervisor manager and ask manager to take you off of all of their list is important to ask them to take u off of all of their list because they have several. but try not to be irritated with the fundraiser it's the federal government who is allowing them to continue their fundraising efforts despite the Do Not Call list other wise it will be very difficult for fundraisers to raise money year around like they need to then we get a lot of people who we cannot help because were not getting any funds from fundraising so if we stop calling we'd never make any money for people really need it.I hope this eases is some telemarketing tension

Cussed me out, so I did the same.  Hung up on him, he called back and hung up on me.  So I called from my cell phone (like an idiot) because it's long-distance, and cussed him out.  He called back and I cussed him out again and he hung up on me.  So if yall ever want to call them back, use the # 904-410-3882, I promise you it's the same place.

The people calling from this phone number are VERY FRADULENT!!!!!!  Do not give them any information about yourself no matter what they say.  I was informed, when I made the mistake of answering the call, that I was required to pay them $425 right then for a payday advance loan that I never took out.  Those things are legalized loan-sharks and I have no part of them.  I was informed that if I did not pay right now, I was going to be arrested and my family would be arrested too.  HaHaHa!!!!!!!!!!!!  Give me a break, what kind of fool do you think I am in this day and age?????????  Do not be suckered by these conartists!!!!!

I have had so many calls from this 904 # it is terrible. They will call my cell and if I don't answer they will turn around and call my job. I am in the process of reporting them. The man cannot even speak english and most of the time does not leave a message, sounds like there is a bunch of stuff going on in the background. Says I owe something but will not tell me what or how much or anything....I am about to change my number which I don't want to do that because I have had this number for a very long time. It really stinks to be on the Do Not Call list and get these harrassing phone calls.

Received a solicitor call from this number at 9pm.  Told the person that it was very late and that he woke the kids.  He went right into asking me for a donation. Told him that I was on the DNC and that he should remove me from his list.  Person became very rude...finally had to hang up on him.

called about 8:30pm. to our backline number.  No message.

Called several times over the last two months. Hangs up, never leaves messages. Sounds like an auto-dial and the "begging for money" person missed clicking in. (I am on the national do-not-call list.)

called at 8:30pm on a Friday night and interrupted date night with my hubby.  didn't make it to phone in time to pick up, but left no msg. Called back 10 minutes later. We're on the NDNC list.

Rang 4x and disconnected when answering machine picked up.

Other phone search websites have stated that it is someone soliciting for the Florida Highway Patrol

Called today, answered. Machine said "please hold while we try to connect your call"... then it beeped twice and disconnected.

For those folks getting calls identifying themselves as Florida Sheriff's Association and asking for donations, it's a fraud.  I found this on the website of the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, which is the official charity of the Florida Sheriff's Association:

The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, Inc., and the Florida Sheriffs Association offer a warning to citizens who might be targeted by telemarketers soliciting donations. Even though it is legal for organizations and associations to solicit by telephone, the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches and the Florida Sheriffs Association do not endorse fund raising projects or advertising sales conducted by telephone and do not find it an acceptable practice for any organization representing a law enforcement group or association.

Individuals who receive solicitations by telephone are suggested to use the following precautions:

   * Ask questions. Honest businesses don't mind questions. Ask the solicitor what percentage of funds raised actually goes to the charity and what goes to fund raising.
   * Request a list of the Board of Directors of the organization that the solicitor is representing.
   * Do not buy or pledge anything by phone. Ask for the offer or donation request to be mailed to you in writing before you send money. Be very cautious of anyone using "runners" to pick up contributions to avoid using the United States mail.
   * Any reputable organization should be happy to furnish you with a copy of their annual report. Also, ask for a copy of the IRS letter stating that the organization is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization.
   * If the caller says they are representing a certain law enforcement group or organization, have them furnish you with the law enforcement agency that is sponsoring the fund raising endorsement.

I've been told many of these calls come from prisons.... makes ya feel real safe, right?

NO!!  Charitable organizations can call all they want. This is right from the DNC center!! GREAT, huh??

I was informed, by the DNC people, that charitable organizations...or anyone they hire, can call as often as they want!! Sucks, huh?? Why have a DNC list, if these jokers can harass you!!!

this number called my home phone on 1/20/11 at 5:39 p.m. When I answered no one was there I called the number back and it said the person was not available Then it said if you would like to make free calls go to the webite magicjack.com

told me they were calling for Florida Sheriff's Assoca...I told them they were "illegal and don't call me again"

get call every day. leaves no message.called from 904-410-7070

I keep getting unwanted calls from this number even when i answer and say Hello im put on hold and then they hang up this is beginning to annoy the crap out of me PLEASE HELP
