THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!! I have found numerous posts about this guy under different numbers he is using the ones I have thus far are 713-574-1864, 281-241-6239, 224-545-5353, 281-288-2339.This guy NEEDS to be stopped. He was very nasty to me, I saw a post where he told a lady that her kids would be taken away that's just wrong he is a sick guy we need to help him get the help he needs by having his butt locked up!!! I think if enough people file a complaint it can help someone else not be scammed. Also we must protect ourselves because these people have our information. I REALLY want to know how they got it! I would suggest you put an alert in with the credit bureaus since they have your info, file a police report and call the Texas Attorney Gen. Office and file complaint 512-463-2070 also you can file complaint with FTC, He has messed with the right one maybe if enough people report them something will be done!!!!!!
He also uses James Brooks and a female is involved also said her name was Pamela.

HPC called me to. Saying that I owe them 393.oo for a bad check,  I told them that I don't get paid untill the 1st, and I will wire them the money then. BUT, they wanted me to send them the money THAT SAME DAY, through via Wal-Mart Money Gram, and If I didn't send it that same day, they was gonna issue a warrent out for my arrest.  He was rude to me and didn't even tell me who he was.

Did you deal with HPC further? Did you contact a lawyer? I am dealing with them right now, wondering how it went with you? Would like to discuss further.

Duane Romanello, who is now listed as the agent for H&P, is also (according to the state of Florida) the registered agent for a ton of other companies, including several other debt collectors and finance companies. He IS an attorney in Florida...but he is not listed as an officer, just the agent for process. This is normal for a corporate filing, actually.

As you see above, there was a dissolution that was pending in September, but it was dismissed. The original agent's name was Gary Henrion who is NOT an attorney in Florida but is now listed as the Vice President of the Company. Neither he, nor Noel Pooler nor Tammy (Mackey) Williams are attorneys in Florida.  Again, all of this is easily verified through the State of Florida's website and the State Bar.

These people also were connected with Legal Mediation Practice, which was a debt consolidation firm that is no longer is business. The addresses were the same a year ago.

H & P, obviously, stands for Henrion and Pooler... and by the dates, you can see that H & P came about not longer after the other company closed around  October 2008. It appears the they went from debt consolidation to focusing on collection of payday loans.

Gary Henrion is a Business Broker or Real Estate developer of some kind.

Tammy Mackey/Tammy Williams is listed as the Treasurer for both H & P as well as Legal Mediation.

Duane Romanello was the registered agent for Legal Mediation, but not for H&P initially. Mr. Romanello specializes in bankruptcy, real estate and collections.

well "Collector DOG" you write this as if people are purposely and willfully just going about racking up debt, you have NO concern at all for people that have fallen truly onto hard times. I wish you well when you fall from your high perch and are placed in the position people are in that you call and torment. Robbery? seriously?? get the hell out of here. I have had doctors and hospitals TRY to come after me because of unpaid bills that resulted from THEIR VERY OWN MISTYPING, so not everyone with a debt is a thief. People like you are what the original founding fathers were running from when they came here. Enjoy hell.

These people keep calling my work number and asking for a woman that has not been here in the 2 years that I've worked her. My work number is actually a medical line for patients and even though I tell these people that, they won't stop calling.

I kept receiving automated calls from this number at least twice a day for someone else. I tried calling once to find out who this was and they wouldn't identify themselves. I called the next time and sounded like I got the same person but they said they would remove me from the list. I've had this phone number for 3 years and when they pulled up whatever database, they didn't have record of my name with the number even though it's under MY account with the service provider. Just thought it was worth noting that they are pulling numbers NOT from white pages but from somewhere else. Not sure why they couldn't pull that information BEFOREHAND to see that the name they were looking for has NOTHING to do with who is associated with that number.

Hopefully this will conclude the harrassing phone calls for we, the people who PAY our bills.

I agree.  Ask them first for to spell their company name and address and also ask for their license number.  Ask them the original creditor.  If they are not legimite they can't answer these things.  Then tell them you dispute the debt and to send you verificaiton.   Then you can send a cease contact notice to the address they give you and they legally can not call you again until they have sent you the debt verification.  A legal company will have to do these things.  It IS true most scams will threaten arrest , they got your information from a web page when you applied for something else and or payday lenders sell your information?  But they figure you had a payday loan and hoping to intimidate you into giving them money.  Any valid debt collector will have no problem mailing you a verification of debt.  And if they have your address to come arrest you (be for real!) then wouldn't it be logical for them to mail you a statement of your debt as well.

You need to keep any voicemails of this kind.  You also need to report them to the attorney general in your state and the Federal consumer protection people.  You can do this all online.  Good chance these folks are just a scam, but if not and you can get their company information you can get an attornety to sue them.  I would tell them next time they call that you are recording the call and do record it if you have that ability.  They will probably hang up and leave you alone.

It is a scam.  They make a lot of threats, they try to pressure you into giving them information and tell you that all kinds of hell with rain down upon you in the next 24-48 hours if you don't give them access to your banking info or give up a credit card number and it is nothing but a boiler room scam where they bleed you dry and move on to the next person who doesn't know their rights.  If you are unaware that you owe a debt - most likely you don't.  Check out this goverment website and know what your legal rights are to requesting proof.    http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre18.shtm

I have to say this a crooked company.  I am sorry to those who work for it that are posting here as average Joe's - but I filed for bankruptcy when I lost my job and everything was discharged and this company - and others either like it - or the same company under different names yet hailing from the same town call and tell me they are wanting to depose me for a legal action they have pending against me.  When I tell them to call my attorney, this was discharged several months ago - they still try to strong arm money from me, which is illegal.  When I go off and site the laws, they give up for a few weeks, maybe even a month or two and then start the process all over again.  Crooked, corrupt, and doing their best to intimidate people who may not know their rights.

Was told by a Ms. Wilcox that I falsified information in 2006 to get a Master Card and then didn't make the payments so the company wants her to approve a garnishment of my wages or a lien agains my automobile so that when I make my car payments the money will go to pay of the debt instead of going to my car payment.  I asked for proof of this debt in writing and was told that maybe she could e-mail it to me but coudn't mail it to me because that would take to long and I only have until the end of business today to settle this.  When I told her records from that long ago would be in my storage unit and I would need time to find it.  I was told I could have until noon on Monday to find it but if I didn't then I would have these actions taken against me!  I have no idea what this is about!

This  company has called and left messages on numerous occasions. Not only that they have also contacted my neighbors. It is uncalled for to be locating the addresses and phone numbers of neighbors and bring them into anyone else's matter. They are unprofessional and disrespectful.

I just received a message from this number telling me a desicion had been made on something on my behalf that I may not know about and it was imperative to contact them today at HP Associates (904) 418-5001.  I do not owe any payday loans (never have had one), nor do I have any outstanding debts.  Sounds like a complete con to me.  I wish I knew where to report them. The caller said his name was Bobbie Westbrook.

Your company is in violation of several privacy and practicing laws in several states. My thoughts are this practice with your company specifically is currently being investigated. I agree with the prior posts, you should really keep your mouth shut unless your company is running perfectly which it clearly is not.
