Collection Agency Recording; Stand by have an important business matter. these people don't believe in laws regarding harassment . When I called back on one of the numbers this dumb a** who answered wanted personal information would not state, why also stated; if you don't like it hang up and then DA hung up My advise kept a record of dates, time and phone numbers, when accountability arrives; sue them and file complaints with the attorney general ,FTC, especially if exploitation of seniors. If there a real collection agency that follows the law by informing any parties of a collection matter by mail. The one incident I learn about taping a notice on someone door is a very stupid person. Come try to post any notices on my door by trespassing on posted Land here in Florida. then the law will apply. It takes over 1/2 mile to arrived at my door good luck dumb a**es. I have all the time in the world phones calls don't bother me with todays technology My phone never rings it keeps me busy LOL

I have tried for years to have these scum bags stop calling me. I have reported them to the FTC, FCC, do not call list, and a few other agencies of our government. nothing works! so I have started a petition on the white house web site asking the government to do its job. we need 150 sigs on the petition for it to show on the general web site for all to see. and 100,000 for someone in the government to read it. I am sure that they must have the people to catch and Jail these crooks. please sign. the link to it is

We get them on our cell phones too and we are unlisted and on the no call lists. They don't care. They are just robocalling and won't stop. It's over a year and a half and we're still getting the calls. The best thing is don't answer the phone on those out of state calls and report to the no call lists after you google the number and find out if it's that Card Services. They are the lowest of the low scum of the earth!
| angeleyes 2013-01-19 00:43:49 Unknown |
You are right about them trying to get credit card numbers. I stopped answering out of state calls and I google the number to find out who it was. I report to the no call lists and I've called the FTC twice. they are working on it and have busted 5 of these companies in the last few months, but I'm still getting weekly calls, 4 this week on different numbers we have!

This is ridiculous. Its the thirtieth call on my cell in the last two months. This NEEDS TO BE OUTLAWED. How does one prosecute them How is this legal?

They called me again today, January 17, at 4:13PM Central Time. I answered because I was expecting a call, but didn't know what number it would come from. Tiffany at Cardholder Services offering a deal to lower my interest rate. I actually listened to the whole thing this time, but pressed 3 to be removed from the list instead of 1 to speak to a representative. Hopefully they will get the message.
When they called me a month ago(December 13) from this number, I reported it to DoNotCall and it looks like nothing has been done. These scammers need to be shut down!

EVERYONE OF US NEEDS TO CALL VERIZON OR WHOEVER IS YOUR CARRIER AND TELL THEM TO TRACE THE CALLS AND DO SOMTHING ABOUT IT. I HAVE CALLED THE FTC COMMISSOIN AND THEY TELL ME THEY HAVE NO MONEY TO STOP THIS COMPANY.
THE COMPANY CALLED ME TODAY AND THREATENED AND HARRASSED ME. I HAVE HAD THESE CALLS FOR OVER 1 YEAR. I HAVE BLOCK THE NUMBERS AND THEY KEEP RANDOMLY COMING. VERIZON TELLS ME I NEED TO FILE A POLICE REPORT-I AM IN THE PROCESS TODAY OF DOING THAT.

Regarding the information that Al in Nashville posted, I am in total agreement with everything that he has posted. I have made numerous complaints to both the FCC and FTC about "Car Holder Services" and have received this result: Absolutely 'NOTHING'. Both my land line and cellular phone have been on the DO NOT CALL listing since its inception and that has not done one bit of good to stem the "robo calls" that I receive on my numbers. And, like Al in Nashville, when you try to talk with these people they are the most discourteous and just disconnect before you can tell them to cease and desist. It seems that the FTC and the FCC are about as trustworthy, competent and efficient as our Congressional system. And, it seems, that this entity has access to a means of disguising their telephone number as originating in California, Oregon, Washington, and now Florida.

WOW... looks as if the do not call list is a prime list for this type of caller to research and blast everyone on it. Bummer. Hopefully enough petition efforts happen to stop this type of annoyance.

Like most I keep getting these calls from different numbers and putting in call block does help but only for those that you can put in there. My call block holds 30 numbers. This last time I pressed 1 and told this Chris that if he wanted to talk to me he needed to call me at home, he asked for my home number and I gave him one of my congress person's office number. I don't know if that is legal or not but hey it can't hurt. I am so tired of getting these calls. I just don't get it as to why something can't be done about them.

What do we do with these people. I have tried everything. I understand we are to call the Federal Trade Commission if these calls presist after having been put on the no call list. How do we get to the FTC?????

Receive unsolicited call from 904-425-5642 pm 1/17/13 at 9:39a, although our # is on the do not call list. Like other callers state, it's a final notice to see about lowering your interest rate to 6.9%, so I pressed 1 to see what the company was. The guy on the phone asked if I was inquiring about lowering my interest rate, and I asked him what the name of the company was and he said National Card Services. When I asked who they maintained credit cards for, he hung up. I knew it was a scam, was just seeing how much info I could get out. Now at least I have some information to report on the gov'ts Do Not Call Registry. Even if it's fake, maybe reporting all the #'s they use will lead to them being hassled to change them.

I actually talked to someone for about 5 minutes. He kept refusing to give me the name of his company, insisting it was "Card Holders." I called him a criminal and told him he was trying to scam me. He said he was trying to help me. I kept asking him for the name of his company or a website. He gave me this number 18007788287 and said I could call it (it isn't connected) he was at extension 1222, his employee number was 12121 and his supervisor was Richard at extension 1251. He wouldn't connect me to Richard and he a couple minutes later all the numbers he gave me for the same extensions were different. At one point after calling him a mother f****r he said that was true, he actually was a mother f****r and had been f****ng my mother for the past 2 years. I don't understand how these companies are able to continue to operate. I have had many of these calls in the past and this was the first time someone actually would talk to me after I deviated from the script.

Doesn't matter where the calls come from. They still aren't following federal laws.
And, the FBI's jurisdiction IS NOT limited to just the United States.
However, the Do Not Call registry, the FCC, the FBI and State AG offices are completly ineffective in having this stopped. It has gone on for years and more companies/scammers are preying on more people. These scum don't play by any rules and it is time our legislation steps up and puts an end to it!

Constant calls to my cell phone. When I see the number I disonnect the call.
I have called them back many times to request the calls stop and I have been hung up on everythime. This outfit is appalling. I called Verizon about this and they state they can't do anything about it. I think they should do something about it.

I've received many calls from many numbers I do not recognize. I NEVER answer them if they are suspect, and especially if I don't recognize the area code. I DO look them up on Google usually to find myself landing in these types of "who called" forums with said number in question. They almost ALWAYS turn out to be the credit stealing as-wipes with their lame, known by the media, and largely-broadcast-by-now scam setups. Most people know about this by now, the FCC knows all about this, and if you watch the news at all, you've heard it about on t.v. The FCC will pay big bucks to the person or persons who can devise a way of stopping these callers from interrupting our lives constantly with their illegal activity.
All I can say is, if you don't know who that is calling you, better to let the answering machine/voice mail take over. It must surely frustrate these idiots to arrive automated voices all day long as they earn nothing with their scripts of slimy, despicable lies laid out before them. Tell your elderly parents, friends, and grandparents. Tell you your children, co-workers and acquaintances. Get the word out: This scam is as prolific as ads for injury lawyers or any kind of insurance--but far more dangerous financially without proper awareness. The sooner EVERYONE knows about this, the worse off those sleaze-bags will be. Heaven forbid, some of them might have to get real jobs. Probably a lot of their "telephone associates" are ex-cons and formerly incarcerated, non-achievers who will stoop to any means to get a dope dollar.
Just don't answer the phone. Yes, ALL OF US by now are on the Do Not Call list. These ppl, or spawn of satan, are not really referring to the DNC list anyway. They are making illegal calls designed to separate your most private financial information, and your credit card numbers from your own personal privacy. If you keep answering these idiot calls, you will be given nothing but the pitch. If you so much as try to foil them with threats of reporting them, or asking them to remove your number, or challenging them with your wit, DNC status, or phony information, you will only get the satisfaction of having them hang up on you. They WILL call back, sometime later, using different numbers, and repeatedly because they now know that YOU ANSWER THE PHONE. That's all the encouragement they need. And it will go on and on and on until they are finally stamped out and brought to justice like the credit terrorists they are. That could realistically take years. If you keep answering, you will never be rid of them. They will get more aggressive and say highly inappropriate (and untrue) things including making violent threats that are alarming and/or ridiculous.
***If you really want to lower the interest rate on your credit card, call your own creditors. They have a phone number. It's on your statement and it ain't the numbers showing up on your caller ID. The pond scum calling you use software programs that cloak where and who they really are and they are NOT affiliated with your creditors! "Rachel" will keep calling you until all the people associated with Rachel are finally put in prison for identity theft and intent to deceive.
