I am sorry  to say, that these same people, with an East Indian accent. Have kept on calling my cell as well.
I have a " REAL" Detective, wwith the Denver Police Department, here in Denver, Colorado. Please call and ask for the FRAUD DEPARTMENT. And TRUST ME, they have started an investigation. And the harrassing phone calls started when, they asked me for;  1) My mothers maiden name, 2.) Password for my bank account as well as the code. And when I explain to them, that first they did not have a Customer Service Call Back  Number, and when they first called me the phone number came up as ' UNAVAILABLE".
and that I felt uncomfortable, in dealing with a company with that type of dealing and/or dealings. But here is the information in regards to the detective here in Denver, Colorado. His name is:

This guy called and told me he was from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations Dept.  I asked for his company name and he said there was no company.  I also asked for an address and he said it would do me no good.  He told me that I owed money to Cash Advance USA and they were going to file criminal charges against me if I did not pay them today $496.50.  If not today, then it would be $785.  If I got sued, it would be $6,000.  So to try and get more information out of him, I asked if I decided to write a check, who would it be made out to.  Of course he said that they would only do electronic check or visa/mastercard.   I hung up after that.

I would also like to point out that these people actually called my old employer asking for me.  They were worried and called me to let me know and gave me this number to call.  These people are getting very brazen.

I got the same call today and it freaked me out, you can check on my post further down on the list.

I also received a call from this number and it really shook me up because I did take out a pay-day loan that I did not pay in full back in 2012. This officer MArk Williams "who I questioned" because he has a Indian accent. But, he knew a lot about me because I did and most likely still do have my SS# out there in the internet. That was my big mistake. They said further that if I didn't come up with $1,085 dollars or at least $362 dollars today that there would be a downloaded file that will eventually land me in court or in jail, then the charges woul be $9,000.00 or better.

I called my local Sherrif's department on to find out that this was a scam. The issue to my surprise is "I do owe someone some money" but I don't think they would go about it in this manner. I think our court system would mail me something to the effect and charges if there were any.

another great group of payday loan scammers, high pressure, illegal tactics.  Report these idiots to the FBI, FTC and attorney general's office.  Also report them to the Florida Attorney General's Office.  Hahaha anyone can make up a badge number.  Payday loans are civil, not criminal, I must say the name is great Bureau of Criminal Investigations, what a load of crap.

Same as above complaints. A deputy named John Morrison said a loan I had was fraud processed by me and gave me a number for a deputy in a criminal investigation division. I told him that any banking regarding a transaction with a payday loan if any owed is between my bank & the loan agency. I asked for a badge number he gave me one.And contiuned to argue I said I had a bad connection and call me back.I refused to answer it and now. Finding out their bogus I will report them to federal trade comission, local bbb attorney generals office and block their call. Note the first call came up as a.emergency number then the 904
area code

This person called informing me of an outstanding loan.  My wife took a loan out less than two weeks ago.  Now this person is saying we have several accounts of fraud and will face federal charges.  It sounds like a terrible scam but they have my ssn# and bank info.

Got a voice mail, advising to callback regarding to Officer Samuel Baxter at the Bureau Of Criminal Investigations ext #2060 regarding a, criminal investigation and they would seek me out at my employer. They have my banking info and ssn# about a loan that I supposedly took in 2012. >>>>ALL OF THIS ON THE VOICEMAIL. I called this # back spoke to, hey guess who, Samuel Baxter after he transfered me to ext# 2060, he explained this was about a loan that was not recovered by direct deposit therefor creating a WORTH:LESS CHECK.   I had one loan with Advance America,  for a 300.00 to 500.00 amount "Officer Samuel Baxter" was trying to get me to pay before criminal proceeding. I explained I have the voided check from that single transaction as I paid it back. He pressed on, trying to explain I apparently wasn't aware or didn't remember the loan that I took......I called him back and explained, HOW PATHETIC HIS COLLECTION ATTEMPTS ARE". He did not like this, I hurt his pride, the b*****d.

Keeps calling my phone telling me I am in big trouble and will be arrested. I hang the phone up all the time and tell them to stop calling me.

This is a scam call. The caller ID is listed as 911...it's a man with an American name and a HEAVY Indian accent. He called asking for one of our employees and claims to be from the Federal Bureau of Investigations...nice try but he won't be getting through to anyone.

I just got done calling these people every name in the book, boy it feels good.

This guy samual baxter calls be and tells me there will be charges put against me for fraud unless i pay him 600+ i did that before and 2 months later the company that i supposedly paid did not get there money and i still owe that company..

This person called my work and said I need to get in touch with Mike Black who was an officer I need to get in touch with regarding a complaint against me.  They knew my last four of my social security number because they gave it to my supervisor. How can these scammers be stopped.

This man by the name of Deputy Craig Rogers I need to get in touch with Mike Black who is the officer in charge of my case. If I don't contact them within the next 12 hrs he's going to come and arrest me.

Two men have been constantly calling my cell phone. An officer Mark Williams and an officer John Smith from the Bureau of Crime Investigation saying that the call is for a Marshall Ryels and that he is in big trouble and only god can help him if he does not call back.  They call every day and since there is no Marshall Ryells at this phone though I tell them constantly to quit calling, I am turning in a complaint with the Illinois State Attorney's office to stop this harrassment.  Beware.  These a***oles are undaunted by the truth!
