Yea they tried it with me didn't get any money from me...
When I ask them to send me something in the mail...
They really poured it on... Didn't work now I'm tring to find them myself...
I done went to Maryland to get my hands on them...
Because I don't call the police for nothing...
If I ever find them theyll beg for jail... To even play like a police & threaten anyone
with going to jail needs to be handled... Just hope I get them first...
The number they using now is # 410-834-2592
If anyone knows where I can get my hands on them...
I would be greatful....

Interesting - like the rest of you - I had gotten a call from this phone number about an hour ago at my job.  Yes a very minute amount of money was borrowed.  Yes and like the rest of you, it is being paid back automatically each payday to ease the burden.  Well when you get the call they tell you that you have committed money fraud, internet fraud and all things that would scare anyone.  I was taken back by this.  The company by the way was The Florida State Bureau of Criminal Investigation.  Well something was not quite right about the call.  I had heard a lot of people in the background talking and I can tell that none of them may have been born here.  After I got off of the phone, I called the State of Florida and was advised that there is no such Department.  I then called the Florida State Attorney General's Office.  Again, I was advised that there is no such Department.  So now it was my turn to have a little fun.  I harassed them so much that they called my place of employment and they had asked that I stop calling them.  I exposed them for the Fraud that they are, told them this over the phone and to have them call me and I ask that I never call back and vice versa - nice little victory for me.

I just called them back and told them I was speaking to a lawyer about filing for bankruptcy and he needed information on everything I was paying out so I needed some kind of way to show him proof of our payment arrangement. He freaked out telling me that the only thing he could send me would be something showing how much I paid after it was paid. Then he told me he didn't like what I was saying and that he couldn't send the lawyer anything because he had to be a federal lawyer because fraud is a federal case. So I asked him if I should get in touch with the FBI about it since it was federal and he got even angrier saying that he was just going to send this through the courts since I didn't want to pay him what I owe. I never said that though...all I wanted was proff and he couldn't give me any. So needless to say I'm not paying him anything else. And I don't know what I should do about the 350 I have sent them.

I have gotten calls from these people. They called my grandmother and told her if she didn't find a way for them to call me then the cops would come pick me up at my job or my home and told her the addresses of them path places to prove he was serious. Then when he got in touch with me he told me that unless I could pay over 1000 over a months time. I have made one payment and I have another coming up in a week. This guy really scared me and I have a family to protect and going to jail is very scary to me. I can't afford a lawyer I don't want to stop the payments and then end up in jail like he told me he would do...HELP!

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010  FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

Some fraudsters have instructed victims to fax a statement agreeing to pay a certain amount, on a specific date, via a pre-paid Visa card. The statement further declares the victim will never dispute the debt.

If you receive these calls, do not follow the caller?s instructions. Rather, you should:

?Notify your banking institutions.
?Contact the three major credit bureaus and request an alert be put on your file.
?Contact your local law enforcement agencies if you feel you are in immediate danger.
?File a complaint at www.IC3.gov.
Tips to avoid becoming a victim of this scam:

?Never give your Social Security number?or personal information of any kind?over the telephone or online unless you initiate the contact.
?Be suspicious of any e-mail with urgent requests for personal financial information. The e-mail may include upsetting or exciting but false statements to get you to react immediately.
?Avoid filling out forms in e-mail messages that request personal information.
?Ensure that your browser is up-to-date and security patches have been applied.
?Check your bank, credit, and debit card statements regularly to make sure that there are no unauthorized transactions. If anything looks suspicious, contact your bank and all card issuers.
?When you contact companies, use numbers provided on the back of cards or statements

I received a call from the Dept of Law and justice in Jacksonville FL phone # 904-405-4332 stating that i owed a payday loan they had my social security # and my address stating that I owed $500 if $200 of it was not paid in 20 minutes they were calling the police department to arrest me, they were threatening me and not trying to work with me.  I did have a loan that I paid but it seems that they find victim who took out a loan before and get your info, your info is sold to them.  What caught me is the fact that they wouldnt take a debit or credit card they needed a Walmart or Walgreens money pac card.  This is untraceable whereby the credit or debit card would be.  I called my police department and was told they are a SCAM they would not arrest me because Jacksonville FL does not have any jurisdiction in another state unless you murdered someone or is wanted by the FBI which I am not I am a law abiding citizen.  I called them and mentioned that I called the police, they immediately hung up the phone.  I tried to call them back and the phone says that no one is available.  Please be careful of these people they have Indian accents with English names.
