i told this collector on 5x that they had the wrong number but they still continue to call my cellphone 1x per week.

I have sent these people notification 3x that I paid the company they are calling for.  They still continue to call and harass me saying they never got anything.  I have sent them notification 3x in the mail certified/return receipt, they never sign for it!!

This ARM service was looking for a Joseph but There is no Joseph that lives here . I told them three times to stop calling .

The best is when they call and say they are with the "Justice Dept" and if I don't give them all my banking info to pay them right now, they are going to send an "officer" to arrest me by tonight....This is harrassment, pure and simple and i was told the reason they can't be shut down is because they can't be found.  They use routers or something so that when they call the phone number shows up in Florida or New Jersey or some other place, but when tracked, there isn't an actual office or location.  Some are actually not even in this country...I am all for paying your debts, and I do,( They were calling for someone who evidentally owned the phone number before me..)  but threatening someone is illegal.  My sister said that they called her at work over and over and over until her boss finally said something to her about personal calls, which is probably the vulture's tactics.  People want to pay if they can to stop the calls before they fired, but people....don't give these idiots your banking info or try to pay them....its unbelievable that these do***e bags are allowed to get away with this.

This is a collection company that doesn't give a s*** about either federal or state law. My advice to you is to NOT deal with them at all; debt collection companies that so flagrantly violate the law CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

If you chose to deal with them then don't do anything except by writing and DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. If you ever talk with them on the phone then RECORD THE CONVERSATION.

I'm all for people paying their legitimate debts but no one should have to be put through what collectors like ARM put people through.

File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.  The number is 877-382-4357.  A lot of these bill collection departments stop with harrassment and rude behavior after they receive your complaint from the government.  If that is not good enough, contact a lawyer and sue them for harrassment.  Make sure you document each time they call you and from what number.

So I have a new cell phone number and I guess whoever had it before me owed these scumbags some money as they just keep calling it. Lucky for me I have a cousin On The Job in Ft.Lauderdale and is going to look real hard at these a***oles. I understand they have a job to do but when they have been tols several times they are getting the wrong person they get all mouthy. Well that is about to come to an end. I've gotten printouts on my Incoming Calls and someone is getting locked up over this!

I had the same thing today for a bill 3 or 4 years ago. I told them that I wanted to resolve it but I couldnt right now. They then got rude and some guy got on the phone trying to push his weight around he wouldnt let me say a word and told me that I was a piece of crap. I just laughed at him and told him to tell his client to put me on the list of write-offs because I wouldnt pay them a dime and now I'm gonna anwser everytime they call and just laugh at them the entire time.

I am getting several calls a day at work.  The caller ID on my ph is 904-483-3359 but they leave msgs to call 866-679-4046.  I have had names of Sean Blackwell, Mrs Peck, Gary Isaac and others.  They are very rude, do not say where they are from just demand to call back within 1 hr....demand a call from my atty or myself.  I do owe on some payday loans but can't get blood out of a rock.  I have put my loans with a consolidation company so they will eventually get their money.

This company is Capital Recovery Assoc.  They are very aggressive and have many numbers they call from.  They do not leave the company name but will sometimes leave a contact name to call.  I have filed a complaint with the FTC because I have told them to stop calling my work!!

They leave 866-679-4046 x222 Gary Issac as a call back contact.

I get many calls from this company at my work.  The msg says to call 866-679-4046 and ask for Renee Weathers x220.  When I look at my caller ID...it says 904-483-3359.  These jokers are rude to say the least.  They can keep calling because if I don't know the number, I will not answer !!!   Times are tough and if they are legit......they will eventually get their money when I get it.  It is deceitful for the same company to call from several different numbers.

Extremely rude message left on answering maching on multiple occasions. Called at 745pm and I called them back again to tell them they have the wrong phone number and the guy says he's a supervisor and blah blah and then tells me that I'm fabricating information and they've never called before etc etc and the tells me to have a Merry fricking day. Wouldn't let you talk. Kept talking over you saying that they can talk that way because they're in collections and he can't help if other business don't let their employees be rude on the phone! UNBELIEVEABLE!!

Some Rude Lady by the so called name of Ms Peterson called and left a rude message on my on phone demanding that I called their 866-679-4046.  I called to see what this is about but there was no answer I know that I have debt I don't deny that but no one should call demanding and threatening another person. Whatever!!  It is idiot bill collectors that call people like this company ARM being unprofesional,rude and have no clue about the law!!  I am in the process of a law suit with them, because they are calling me and know personal info about me however the dept isn't mine.  I have never dealt with the company they claim I owe money to.  I have never had anything in collections, because I have great credit.  ARM collections gave me the wrong number to the company they say I owe.  THE CREDITORS AND BILL COLLECTORS ARE THE PROBLEM WITH OUR ECONOMY!!!!

Company that claims all calls are recorded which will help me when I sue them for harrasment. Called me at work after being asked 5 times not to then began calling my home sometimes blocking the number. Told me I better provide them with a credit card number to pay my bill. Last I check you can't go to prison for being poor and in debt.
