I keep getting calls from this number!!

I have been receiving calls from a business that keeps changing its name:  Unfied Electric, Organization for Energy Savings, and now today they're calling themselves Energy Reduction Group.  They keep changing the number: 904-514-0825l 904-236-9439; 904-866-5476.  They say they will get me $3,700.00 for energy upgrades and they will save me 30% to 50% on my power bill.  

I have asked time and time again for them to stop calling me.  But they continue.  I am so sick of this.  We should all band together & send a letter to the Florida State Attorney General demanding that they do something about this group.

In the first place it's fraudulent info b/c in order to get $3,700.00 in so called stimulus money you would have to spend about $40,000.00 on solar panels.

And yes, they say they are not selling anything.  Today I was told they had been "contracted" by the power company to call me.

I have received a call from 772 9 4-4470 everyday other day for about a month; when I answered the phone I would not get a live person then hang up. Today, I finally got a live body who after taking my name and how much I spend on electricity monthly transferred me to a supervisor who verified my information and told me that someone would be at my home tomorrow at 6 pm to conduct an energy audit. When I pushed the rep for info about the company, she stated that they are Association for Saving Power and their only interest in this is to see if people qualify for a government stimulus check of $3700.00 if their home meets the criteria. I want someone to come to my home, will meet them at the front door and will ask them to take me off the list or I will continue to waste their time. I've called my local electric company and they do not know of any energy saving stimulus from the government other than the tax credit for windows and other tax credits but not anything worth $3700 bananas. Interesting, the number they called from is missing a number on my caller ID.

Well, after calling him back 12 times and not talking ...and him gettting madder by the moment...I finally spoke.  I said Michael, it is annoying to have someone call you over and over and over again isnt it.  He laughed and said yes.  I told him that I am a stay at home mom and can do this alll day.  He tried to sell me his service.  I told him that i was not interested but that I will keep calling until I am removed from their list.  He tried to sell again.  I hung up, and then called right back.  He didnt try to sell me anything this time.  He promised to remove me from the list if I would just stop calling.  We will see if thie worked.  It did feel good to make them the victim.

This "company" has called me almost daily for the past 3 weeks.  They have called my home phone and my cell phone.  I have reported them to the attorney general, the ftc, and the do not call registry.  I have tried opting out of their calls.  No luck.  I have talked to them.  No luck.  Now I have found a new hobby.  I call them back and just don't say anything.  I have done it 4 times in a row so far and Michael has answered every time.  I just stay quiet.  He is starting to get mad.  It kind of makes me feel better.  
Now I am off to report to Ken.  I am tired of these calls.

My husband received a call on his cell phone from Association for Power Savings, made from a number with a different area code - in the Melborn area. I received my first call from 904-514-0825 today on my cell phone.  I became very suspicious. The telemarketer would not give any identifiable information about who they were, but wanted all of my information.  I would like to have my home evaluated for possible power saving ideas, but I don't want any one from this bunch in my home. It just reeks of a scam of some kind. I will make sure I am currently registered with do not call.  I may try using a whistle - long and loud -  every time I answer my phone and it is them calling again. Maybe they will leave me alone after a while.  Has anyone found anything that works?

Yea, do us a real favor and STOP CALLING!

Same here getting called daily from these !@#%@$$%$.  There really should be a law.  Or someone with some authority from the phone company to deal with these types of ppl.  Come on phone companies grow a pair and look out for your customers!

Same as above and they keep calling.  I tried calling the Florida Attorney General's Office and they claim they cannot do anything.

I was able to talk to a real person and they were not human.  I asked them to stop calling and their answer was simply - we are not selling anything  - just trying to do me a favor.  YEAH like I believe that.

THIS IS GETTING OUT OF CONTROL.  LIKE THE OTHERS, I AM GETTING CALLS DAILY.  I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO FP&L, WHO SAY THIS COMPANY IS USING THEIR NAME FRAUDULANTLY.
EVERYTIME I ASK FOR A SUPERVISOR THEY HANG UP ON ME.  THIS IS A BUSINESS PHONE THAT THEY KEEP CALLING.  IS THERE NO WAY TO STOP THESE PEOPLE?  DO WE HAVE TO GET THE LAW INVOLVED AND START FILING HARASSMENT CHARGES ON THE COMPANY.  TODAY I WAS TOLD THE COMPANY NAME IS: ASSOCIATION FOR SAVING POWER.  SHARE THE NAME AND LETS CLOSE THEM DOWN.

Getting these calls at least once a day.  Worst thing is, the 'push number for' options don't work, so I can't even take comfort in knowing I can get someone on the line and yell at them.

They want to send a person to the house for an energy audit.  We have asked at least 4 times to placed on the Do Not Call list.  The calls continue.  Over 60 of them so far. I've tried to speak to a supervisor, I've tried being nice, tried being really ugly and vulgar.  So far nothing has worked.  The phone number changes all the time, so blocking the phone number does not work.   My next attempt to stop this insanity will be to setup an appointment every time they call, give the guy hell when he arrives and send him packing.  At least I can get the satisfaction of wasting a lot of their time and money expressing my frustration to someone in person.
