Recieved an automated message telling me to call Mark Wades office at 866-489-4524. This is a persistent collection agency. I will need to change my phone number soon.

1-800-403-7780 - do NOT waste time talking with this jerk. He is rude and a bully and tries to intimidate people.

Mike Orlando - called my elderly parents on a debt that I have jointly with them. A revolving credit account. He called my mother and threatened to "take your house right from under you" and when she asked where his office was, he said, "on the other end of this phone number."

When I spoke with him, he said I was a dead-beat and he wouldn't talk to me. He refused to give any info, send a bill, or let us speak to his supervisor.

We are filing a complaint with the FTC, and contacting our US Congressman because he violated the Fair Credit Collections Act of 1996, I suggest if you get a call from this man you check the FCCA of 1996. It is easy to find on Google.

They have called my 13 year old nephews cell phone, which had been loaned to his father.

I got one of their annoying voicemails, called 'em back, and sure as shootin, they were trying to hold of someone with OUR SAME LAST NAME. I refused to answer any of their questions. The guy I was talking to was VERY rude and obnoxious, when I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said supervisor was busy, what did I need... I can be just as rude and obnoxious (I am a red head, 1/2 Irish 1/2 English, ALL Type-A personality) I kept to my guns, when he would start to say ANYTHING, I told him to shut his pie-hole and get me his supervisor.

After about 5 mins of this, he was pissed... HAHAHAHA!!! TOUGH SNOT!!!
I finally got his supervisor on the line, of course I DID have to call back, explained things to the supervisor, and got the phone calls to stop.

Just make the call to the 866 number and tell them
1. You are NOT the person they are looking for, even if you are (LOL),
2. That your number is listed with DoNotCall,
and
3. That you want your number placed on their permanent suppression list.

Suppression list is what they must, by LAW, keep in their system of numbers to NOT call
866 number costs them money, not you

same thing as everyone else...they call a few times a day, mostly when we're not home, leave no message, not that big of a deal really but its annoying! Isnt their some way of reporting them, getting them to stop??

this number 904-547-0506 called me today august 23rd 2007 at 12:11 pm theyve been calling for weeks but weve never picked it up now we do and it was a whole recording giving out file and reference numbers and saying it was very important  that me we call a man names mark wade back so we did and hes saying people names that we dont no he said ok and hanged up on the caller id it comes up CCS this is a scam do not believe it!

Answer call's recieved from 1-904-547-0506 hangs up every time.  Don't leave message. The person they are looking for is'nt me I'm just the unlucky one that has the person there looking for's old phone number. I called them to try to fix problem there real rude and and unmoveing.....a-holes.

They call me every day from 904-547-0506 and hang up!  NO message!  I called back to see who it was it seems that the person who had my phone number last owes someone something.  They refused to believe that I wasn't who I said I was and demanded that I pay them off. I told them where they could go! It's an endless battle.

receive calls everyday from these people. they always hang up on the third ring also if i just want a message they never leave one on the answering machine. i sleep during the day and they call so much i call that harrassment. They can get sued for that just as CBE.

They call me and hang up as soon as the phone is picked up they call about 4 or five times a day

I asked for MIKE ORLANDO to send a bill so I could pay, hae said it was a stall tactic and wont send me a bill.

We have had several calls, with different important messages.  Today I was told that they are collecting an overdue account at Sears??  How do we get it to stop?

This number has repeatedly called my wife's work phone over the last few days.  They call several times a day, wont leave a message and hang up if the phone is answered.

Called at 7:00 PM on a Sunday, and hung up when I picked up.

Recorded call from Mark Wade's office asking to call back on 866 489 4524 and reference a specific file number. I've received three messages in the past three weeks.

Looking for someone who isn't me.  What kind of brains does it take to look up my phone number (listed) to see I'm not who they're trying to track down?  Idiots.  Now, this is pure harrassment and through your phone company's Harrassment Calls Center, you can file a complaint with the FTC.  I have done that.  And to support your claim, make sure you use Call Trace on your phone, if you have that service.

They call but won't leave a Voice Mail.

This is CCS-Collections.  The guy's name is George Step.  He leaves a message saying it's very important he talk to me.  The number he leaves is 800-208-9633.
