this number +27789607619 and said they have a parcel for me at the airport and I should pay clearance fees in order for the parcel to be delivered, the voice sounded a bit foreign for somebody who lives in south Africa and works at a South African airport.

In response to the previous post. There has been nothing submitted to my firm or my client regarding this matter. As for as we concerned these allegations are frevulous. Please ex employer submit or file what ever complaint to the Labor Board so we can be clear on this discrepancy. Thanks!

I was hired at liberty process service just after Christmas this year. Upon my employment at this rediculous company they told me I was going to be making (x) $ per hour plus %20 commission on the $ I collected if I met my $3600 budget for a 5wk period... they trained me for one day on the computer system and threw me to the wolves the next day.. so to speak... after working there for a week and a few days (over 65hrs) I was called into the office and through mgr advised me he was relieving me of my duties as a dialer because I was "too nice" and because of this I couldn't do my job. With that being said he advised me he was doing this because he was wanting to rehire me for a different position in another part of the company..  in a different division.. but that the job didn't start for another 2wks.. this was the day before payday...  so then I had to wait for them to mail me my check because I was,  said "terminated".. so I wanted and waited for my check and finally received it on Wednesday... to find out that they only paid me for 24hrs and cut my pay to minimum wage because I was "terminated"... I have been trying to get hold of the mgr or owner for days now to find out y I was only paid half the hours I'm owed and y they conned me onto a paycut by making me think I was laid off for another position that probably doesn't exist...  but No one will return my calls..  this company is a joke.. they buy debt off of people and triple it to collect from poor people that borrow payday loans... they f*** over their employees just as bad they f*** over their debtor's... I will be reporting them to the better business beauro and whoever else I need to in order for them to make this right.. I didn't work 2 weeks expecting to get a $700 paycheck to b so thourally disappointed when I got a check for 150...  small claims court here I come... one day all the wrong they r doing will come back to bite them in the a** and they will pay for it 3fold...

Guys do you research please before posting something bogus on here. When you call 1-855-333-9819 that is a different collection agency using Liberty. We have no affiliates with this company. I am the owner of Liberty Processing Corp and we are currently not collection on any debt. However, this other company above using 1-855-333-9819 belongs to another Agency using the Name Liberty(Only) in some other City,State. We are Liberty Processing, Corp in Florida. Please do you research before posting.

I received the call from them earlier in the week, actually my mother received the call, she was freaking out, because they said I was going to jail if i didnt call them back by the end of the day. I called them, they asked me to confirm all of my information they claimed they had, which I did not. I know my rights, and I know the right and wrong way collectors are supposed to approach you. Sydney Greer was her name, calling from 855-333-9819. If you google LIberty Processing Corp, they are out of Jacksonville, FL, and as another poster stated (Amy) they are at the following:

NOw tell me, what reputable collection agency uses a GMAIL account? Not to mention the header says "Liberty Process Corp".
I have complaints into the FL atty general, MI atty general (where i am from), and the FTC. I called the MI state police, and they stated I was one of many receiving these calls. Total scam. I know we all feel a little violated, and that it is human nature to feel like you have to look over your shoulder, but hey, be stronger and smarter than they are (shouldnt be hard).  Its simple, answer their statements with a question, every time, all the time. Examples:

They claim they are taking you to court, ask them where they filed the paperwork. State, County, District.
Ask them for a physical mailing address. They wont give it to you.
Ask them for a fax number, they wont give it to you.
Ask for a validation of debt letter. This is great because she actually replied with "how am I gonna give you that if you have not even paid us??" Um yeah, that letter states who the original creditor is, the amount owed, the original accoutn number, and provides proof that you actually owe the debt. They will likely reply with "you already have that information, dont play games with us"
If they want your money so bad, they can go through the due dilligance of providing you with the information to confirm the debt is valid.
You can do one of two things, hang up on them every time, or have a little fun with it and turn the tables, fight back. get mid way through the coversation and let them know the call is being recorded.  In all likelihood, the calls will cease, these people are looking for the easy score. What really grinds my gears is that they say pay now, "we take debit cards, visa or mastercards, but ideally we need your routing and account numbers" Ok Jagovs (Jagov = Russian slang for Jack-o**), let me scramble to get you my info on a debt i dont even have. Kiss my coin purse, thank you very much.

I totally fell for the scam and try to cancel the payment but they continue to take 300 dollars out of my account every month! Now I can't even pay my rent! What ever you do don't fall for their scam! When I called canceling my payment they told me I would be arrested at my job! I told them they are more than welcome to visit me at my job, they still took my money! They called and harassed mother an grandmother!

I have had a representative from Liberty Processing by the name of Tony Wright give me a call. He told me that he was give me a opportunity to help me before a Cash Advance company press charges with on me for Check Fraud. I am so dam nervous but the calls that I have receive from him have been fishy. Tony Wright told me that he needed payment of the cash advance  now. I told him I am on a one income budget and he acted like he did not give a dam. Then he ask me to verify my information WTF!!! I ask him for documentation and he told me he does not have that. How can you say I owe something from 2007 but no form of documentation. Tony ask me for a debit card and I gave him a visa gift card number. It feels so fishy and from the post that I have read from others Tony Wright and Liberty Processing are a bunch of scam artist that use verbal threats to get you to pay them. I am going to file a complaint with them. I would ask anyone reading my post and others to do not be scared and hangup on them when they are making threats.

They told me they were collecting on an old check and that it was for a company that i actuallly remembered dealing with, but i called that company after i got off of the phone and they said they sold the debt to another company who sold the debt who sold the debt who sold the debt, but these people from liberty said that the original company is going to press charges against me for check fraud, whereas the original company told me they wrote off the debt, checked with the fcc and they told me this is a common scam by some of these companys to try to scare people into paying old bills or non existent bills, so i reported them for unfair collection activities which what they are doing is actually against the law for fair debt collection

904-619-1819 leave msgs. saying they are Liberty Processing.  Their msg. ridiculously says 'You may or may not have written a bad check'.  Another msg. they left for a Brian, said 'this is your last chance'.  Another msg. they left they said  'this msg. is for (static) and its about check fraud'  They conveniently made noise during the name so that it could be misconstrued as for being for anyone.

I say they are SCAMMERS!!!   NEVER EVER believe ANYTHING that a VOICE over the phone tells you!!   N E V E R !!!!!!!!  Don't call them back, don't answer their call, don't even pick up the phone in the first place!

IF, and that's a great big IF they were legitimate, you would get a letter in the mail. IF you pick up the phone and talk to these people, tell them to MAIL you a letter!  They should have your address already, right?   I mean after all, they have your phone number.   WRONG!!!   They are SCAMMERS!  They have NOTHING,  EXCEPT what YOU give them   Gove them NOTHING!!!

IF you wrote a bad check your BANK would have that info!!!   Your monthly Bank STATEMENT would have that info!!!  Your Bank would have charged you a Bad Check charge!    Did any of that happen?????

If your Bank doesn't have any such info. then these phone callers are SCAMMING YOU!!!!   They have a fish hook out there, knowing that the odds are in their favor that SOMEONE will believe them and will eventually get some gullible person to give up their sacred Personal info.   DON'T DO IT!!!!

This SCAM has been going on for some time now.  Some of them threaten you with Jail.  Some threaten you with the Police.  DON'T believe ANY of it!!!

Unlike a number of your complaints, this recording is calling me twice a day and has now for 10 staight days saying they are from Liberty Processing to discuss a returned item from my bank.  I do not use checks so I know it is a wrong number but they offer no name or account number for me to have it corrected.  They are just one of a zillion companies that love to harass people.

More on this Dan Smith, he says it is for a bad check written on a closed account...something about fraud...he also gave that information to my mother in law...which if it was a valid debt collector that would be in some type of violation.  There has to be something done about this type of call...

Dan Smith, has called me from this number so many times I cant count them, I told him to stop calling and he now calls my work, I hung up on him after telling him to shut up and dont call me at that number ever again, he promptly called right back! He got hung up on again and two days later he called my estranged mother in laws house for me! How he got that number I dont know, but he prcedded to scare her into believing that he was coming to get me and I was going to jail. I dont know how he got my name or why hes harrassing me, but I need it to stop! Somebody please tell me how to make him stop!

Called me today from 904-619-1819 and said they were the last step before going to court for check fraud to a check cashing place, caller ID just said Processing. I asked them to produce a bill and send it to me because I had no recollection of the debt and for some reason its like they didn't want me to pay anything just wanted more credit info, she said it wasn't debt it was a fraudulent closed account check. I told her the account wasn't closed in 2008, when she said it was written, and she said I have no idea when tried cashing the check sir. So I told her you are representing someone and don't even have the transaction details, or have the right address for the person who you say wrote the check?? She said well you think you have all the answers huh, well we'll see how you feel when we find you!! NOW what kind of threat is that, I wish I knew what kind of lawyer could go after these people for Stalking, Threatening People, and Phone Harassment because I sure want to go after them. They didn't even get my address correct saying I lived in a county that didn't even exist. I basically went off on the woman and told her to get a life and get her facts correct before harassing people. Then called back to get HER info and she answered the phone (huge operation huh) and you couldn't even understand her but basically she gave me a PO BOX address which was Po Box 5848 Jacksonville, Florida, and I asked for their actual address and she said they don't give that out, and I said Yeah I bet you don't, but I got enough and then she hung up on me. LOL wow some people, just.....wow!!

I checked my recent phone records...I received 3 calls from this number in December with the same message.

My friend received a call from these people stating they are looking for me, so I called. Talked to a rude Kim Watson who threatened a warrant for my arrest, but did not state why. When I threatened to call police, I was hung up on.  However, they continue to call and say "Got ya"

I have been receving these annoying voice mails on my cell phone...telling me or my counsel to notify them. They identify themselves as being from Florida and they are very intimidating...When my husband tried to call them back all he got was voice mail.

This same number has been calling my cell phone for a person I don't even know.  I have answered and talked to several people and can't get it through their thick heads that I don't know the person they are looking for.  One guy even told me "that I must know them because they listed my phone number".  Seriously, how dumb of a statement was that.  Anyway, today I told them if they didn't stop calling my number I would report them and they got really hateful with me then hung up.  I'm just feed up with it.  .

I got the same recorded message.  Derrick Watts from the fraud division in Florida.  The call was to my son's ex-wife of about 10 years.  I picked up on the call, but the recorded message continued.  This sure sounds like a scam.
