The "Card Services" scam artists are now using this number to hide their real number. "Rachel" has been replaced by "Michelle" and her recording claims that she's be repeatedly trying to reach us to let us know we've been approved! Whatever. Michelle can go jump off a pier with Rachel. Number reported & blocked, but since the fines & lawsuits did nothing to stop Rachel I'm sure I'll hear from Michelle again from a new faked number.

Police Dept. does not solicit donations.  Call your local police dept. and report it.

I just retired from the U.S Marines and got this number today and the guy said that he is my wifes boyfriend and wants money to keep it hush hush.. I was pissed!but through the Military we tracked the number to a scam out of Oklahoma that is using a magic jack in the computer to make these calls.Pleae try to get the guy to give you a physical address and I will promise you that someone will be at his address in 30 minutes or less!!!

I received a call from 904-638-4544 this am asking for my huband.  His name is Christopher and they asked for Chris so I thought it was someone for his business.  I asked her was calling she said her name was Vern I asked who was she with and she said i will call back later and hung up.  We just got this number 3 weeks ago and telemarketers are already calling!!!!

Called my business, asked for me then got rude when asked if they would like to leave a message - they hung up.  LOOOSERS

Called asking for the owner. When I told him he was out of town(retired) and I ran the company he asked me who he would ask for when he called back. He was rude and hung up before I could confront him but will be ready when he calls back.

Ditto, this number and person was VERY rude.  I tried the number and could not get into their systems.  Does anyone know how to find out who the company is and how to report them to the correct authorities?

Last quick note...when I attempt to call the number, I get an automated message saying "you have reached state of florida police athletic...blah blah...then to call a customer service number at 800-299-1895. Double Uuugh!

These idiots call my business number daily. When I pick up, the phone automatically hangs up. I am so darn tired of getting these calls. I am going to report them, as I am on the do not call list, but what else can be done?

They said they were a local charity drive. I don`t live in the 904 aera code.

Automated call from the State of Florida Association of Athletic Leagues.  Says they will call you back.  

Apparently their system is checking for good numbers for their workers to call.

Called 3/9/09- was silent for a min. then asked for vicki the owners name is victoria and she doesn't go by either of those names, guess he thought he could pass as a friend, wouldn't leave a message.

You can't call this company back on 904-638-4544 however the company that owns this number is Xentel at 800-879-0076. You can either call them or place yourself on the National Do Not Call Registry at this number 888-382-1222 where after 31 days they may be subject to fines up to $2500.00 per harassing call. Here is some additional info that may help.

Who is covered by the National Do Not Call Registry?
The National Do Not Call Registry applies to any plan, program, or campaign to sell goods or services through interstate phone calls. This includes telemarketers who solicit consumers, often on behalf of third party sellers. It also includes sellers who provide, offer to provide, or arrange to provide goods or services to consumers in exchange for payment.

The National Do Not Call Registry does not limit calls by political organizations, charities, or telephone surveyors.

What about an established business relationship?
A telemarketer or seller may call a consumer with whom it has an established business relationship for up to 18 months after the consumer's last purchase, delivery, or payment - even if the consumer's number is on the National Do Not Call Registry. In addition, a company may call a consumer for up to three months after the consumer makes an inquiry or submits an application to the company. And if a consumer has given a company written permission, the company may call even if the consumer's number is on the National Do Not Call Registry.

One caveat: if a consumer asks a company not to call, the company may not call, even if there is an established business relationship. Indeed, a company may not call a consumer - regardless of whether the consumer's number is on the registry - if the consumer has asked to be put on the company's own do not call list.

This phone number calls every day and i finally picked it up the guy was rude asking for the home owner so i told him wrong number

They have called me twice once I answered they asked for me and I said I was not home and I said can I take a message they said no. Called again and I refused to answer they got the machine and hung up no message.
How do we block them from calling.............

rcvd a call from the number, no message.....nor was i able to call the number from my area code...i did however contact the above listed 800 number and placed my number on the do not call list......we will see if this works

call constantly looking for my father and then say they do not want to leave a message. I am like well if it is not important enough to leave a message with me for my dad, then you call isn't important please stop calling. They called once more and then reailzed they were looking for someone with the same name and not my dad very annoying because they call constantly every hour on the hour. very annoying and persistant people they make you pick up the phone.
