repeated calls on caller I.D.

They will never stop.  I get these calls all the time and just don't answer them.

There are news articles about them and it doesn't look like the Federale's will take any initiative to stop this illegal robo calling. I believe FPL is trying to find out who they are because their name is mentioned in the call. According to one of the articles I read, they are working with the State and intend to sue them for misrepresenting FPL.

These calls may be originating from overseas and as such can't be touched by the Federale's.

All you can do is vent by going to the Do Not Call site and lodge a complaint.

calls early mornings, dinner times and weekend.
have not answered unrecognized number.
they never leave a message.

How do you get these people to stop?  My solution is to keep the person on the phone for as long as possible and then finally "give in" and schedule the appointment.  Then when appointment day comes along, it would just totally slip my mind.  Maybe they'll get the message after 3 or 4 missed appointments.

Just got a call from this number, I didn't answer. I called it from my other phone and it hangs up in 5 seconds, it doesn't ring on their end.

This call comes through frequently.  I do not know who it is, but I'm on the Do Not Call List.

The Do Not Call list does not apply to cell phones.  This list was created by some politicians TO GET VOTES, but it does nothing.  It is a joke.  DO NOT DEPEND ON WASHINGTON TO DO S*** FOR YOU.

I get calls from  "strange numbers" daily on my home and prepaid cell phone.  I just push "ignore"  I don't want to be bothered with these idiots!  Just don't know how to stop the calls.  I am registered
with DO NOT CALL,  filed complaints thru proper channells,  but they still call!! having  Caller ID

Another in a series of robocalls with each call coming from a different number from the same company wanting to do an energy assessment of my home energy costs. This is my third complaint to the national do not call registry. I have asked the caller to refrain from calling and tried their option to remove me from their call list to no avail.

It starts out as a recorded message telling you about Home Owners who can get a free energy check. Press one if you want to get one. I pressed one and told the rep that 1. This is a cell phone that is on the no call list.  2. I am NOT a home owner I rent, so I do not want to get repairs done on a trailer I do not own to make it more enegry saving. I told someone this on 4-11-2011, they JUST called me again. I again told them all of the above and that they have been told NOT to call me, and they hung up on me.

These people have been calling me for a month now. For the past two weeks I have answered it and asked them to not call here again. I am not interested in the free energy conservation service. They end up hanging up on me! Get these people to stop!!!!!!

I did not answer it either.  I'm pretty sure I have in the past on more than one occasion and it is a voice recording.  All I know is I don't want soliciters / telemarketers calling me period.  Go away!
