Call for child who no longer lives at home. Texas Guaranty must be about student loans. Glad I didn't co-sign.

Got a call this morning.

Got a call from 904-722-2266. Called asking for someone else...sounded like collections type voice

got a call, answered to a message wait for next representative, obviously not a legit company.

I keep getting a call from this number too.  At first I thought it was a loan company but then when I googled Texas Guarnteed it says that it is a student loan debit collector! Well IF I would of known that Chase was going to sell out there student loans to another student loan company I wouldnt be behind on my bill... its kinda a hard to send a bill when you have no coupon booklet or know where else to send it!!!

Called for Cody Cruse and said they were with Texas Guaranty. I think they got my number from an online resume but I'm not Cody Cruse so I am not calling back.

got a call from this number asking for my ex-husband...thinking it's for his school loans!

It has to do with student loans.

It's some mortgage related company. They call and ask for the same guy all the time (not me). I have asked them repeatedly to remove my number from their list and it falls on deaf ears.

Just got a call (Saturday morning)...9am.  Asked for my Adult Son, who doesnt live with us cause he is
an ADULT... come on you scammers! They left message to call message to call back on a 800 number ...whatever!  Called themselves Texas Gaurantee...Never heard of them..and since the call
wasnt for me...not calling back...it is probably another scam in the works! The scams out there need to
stop...The economic stituation is bad is enought without all these Scammers!!! I am not answering any calls unless I know the Person or Company....

Received call from someone reportedly calling themselves Texas Guarantee (or perhaps Guaranty). They requested an office callback. While this might be a legitimate call, I'm not calling them back just in case it's a scam.

4-24-2010 -- There was a long pause when I first answered, like the auto-dialers. I usually give those type of calls an earfull of TV or internet radio talk show audio. This one came on the line & said "hello?" -- DUH! You called me! She was calling for my adult son.

I just called tonight to see if they had a company name -- just a message that they are not open now.

I got a call too but they hung up when I answered. I called back and it was an automated message asking me to wait for the next available representative. Yeah right.
