If you are "clear," contact them through certified mail and inform them to discontinue contact OF ANY PERSON pertaining to the alleged debt.  This allows them only to sue or shut up.

Central Credit Service in Jacksonville, FL.  Easily the most viscious band of collectors in the nation.  When you hear from them you must send certified mail to their Jacksonville office at 9550 Regency Square #602; Jacksonville, FL 32225.  The letter should say:   Do not contact any person other than myself or my attorney pertaining to any claim you feel you have versus me.   Then give your attorney or representataive's contact info; or give your own info as applicable.  After their receipt of your letter, in the event they contact a neighbor or any person other than as indicated in your letter, they are in violation of federal law which is a jail offense.  After they violate law, suggest you contact the United States Attorney in your area and report violation of law.  The U. S. Attorney in Jacksonville is very aware of these people and their unlawful practices.   Do your part.  Turn them. in.  Send them to prison.

ha ha --- ok so i got a call from this place today-- now i am a collector as well... they tried to say i had a "claim" filed against me... first of all the acct is out of stats so no claim could be filed LOL.. i think its sooooo funny when collectors try to talk off collectors.... esp when i am one of the top collectors for my company!!!  the kid that called could have at least tried to sound professional , esp when u r approaching the acct as legal action is being takin!!! lol..

Collection agency   Main number 904-724-1800,,,,,repeated attemps to have them remove my number from a persons bad debt record have been furitless...I am and recommend that any others like me file with FCC on unlawful collection actions from this company...  CCS  9550 Regency Square  Jacksonville, FL  32225

Chase Bank, I'm sure, yes I own them money, lost my job last year and getting back on my feet now. We don't have debtor's Prison here in the US any more so they can hound me til the ends of the earth, but they can't make me pay unless they get a judgemnt against me in Rhode Island and garnish my wages. Let them try! Don't answer the calls. vey rude, try to intimidate you , yell at you, etc.

This company called me after I had a car repossesed.  Okay, I am guilty...geez I lost my job.  I never said I was not going to pay it.  As a matter of fact, I had made arrangements to pay it, and paid half of what I owed.  They were supposed to give me another week to pay the rest, but instead repossesed it and then wouldn't let me reinstate.  I had been paying for 2 damned years and never late, 3 months later they can't even give you a break.  Scott Edwards, an attorney with CCS, called, threatened me, said they were going to sue me, and then hung up on me when I informed him I was a paralegal and knew my rights.  He said he was informing Hyundai that I was refusing to pay because I asked for a copy of the bill of sale before I made payment arrangements.  Now, its a good thing I work for a law firm and can get some advice, but what about the other people out there who don't?

My parents received a re-corded message from Scott Edwards saying he was from Chase Bank asking them for info to locate my ex-wife.  As far as I know she does not have an acct with Chase Bank.  With all of this deception before me I would have to say this must be the front door to a scam!

Got call on answering machine from "Scott Edwards" asking me to contact a neighbor and have her call him at 1-800-747-2409.  Caller ID read 904-724-1800, registered to Central Credit Services, 9550 Regency Square Blvd N, Jacksonville FL 32225.  I'm on the do not call list, and now I get calls for the neighbors!
