It's a credit card collection company

The phone number I'm getting the calls at is new to me I just move and it seems this number must have had alot of debt collectors calling them for this is the third such calls I am getting and I want it stopped it is not my calls. They need to ask for whom they need to speak to.

Caller ID said Green Cove S FL, 904-863-0204.  Purpose unknown because I did not answer it.

They keep calling looking for someone who dosen't live here.

Called me twice at 1:33 am and again at 1:37 am, did'nt leave message!

have had 2 calls from this number Oct. 7th. I wont answer calls Im not familiar with the number;.

I called the 1-888-904-1800 and had my number removed! Some one named Ram Arca used my fax #as his home number

My Mother gets at least one phone call a day from one of four numbers with the same message each time.  It is the same recording from all 4 numbers but not a live person that you can speak with.  They give her a name and say that this is a very important phone call for that person.  If this isn't you, please push 2.  Mother pushes 2 every time but they call again the next day and sometimes more on the same day.  The other 3 numbers are 702-520-1452,  678-838-1000,  770-250-5649

I keep getting calls from this phone number everyday, when i answer they hang up and when i call back the number is a fast busy signal.  WHAT SHOULD I DO.

I don't call back from automated messages, because I don't know what this is about. If these guys want something from me (what, I don't know), they can send me a letter. Otherwise, they can send as many automated calls as they want. Sick of it.

Thank you so much for your insight on this. I too have been getting calls all months from all the numbers you listed, However, they are not for me. To be on the safe side I just check my credit report to make sure I didn't miss anything and I am all in the clear.

Isn't there a law that if you tell them to stop calling and they continue to call you can file a law suite against them?

Keeps calling my home phone several times every day and they just keep on hanging up no answer or just ask for an unknown name.
I have ask them to remove my # from their calling list but with no luck they continue calling from AM to PM.

I have reported this Central Collection Inc to the Ohio States Attorney Generals Office.
I am also reporting them to the Ohio BBB.
Repeated calls. Have enter #3 as directed to let them know they are calling wrong #.
Also called # given to take off list. UI am NOT the person they are looking for!
I am a disabled senior and they have hung up on me when I called;yelled at me; told
me "they didn't have time".
They have time to  call me repeatedly but they "do not have time" to listen?!
I have given them my # 3 different times and they still call!

If my information is correct, these people who do the calling are not really connected with any financial institution.  They are paid by the number of calls they make.  They sit in large rooms that are filled with other people making similar calls and are diligently watched to be sure they do not stop calling.   The people hired for these positions are trained to be aggressive and "rude".    They probably couldn't take your name off a list even if they wanted to.  I'm not sure how this kind of harassment can me stopped but I've had these calls coming into my home for a LONG time.  I have a caller ID that lights up the number across the room so I don't even get up to answer if I don't recognize the number.  Sad, because sometimes people I know are the ones calling, but if they will begin leaving a message so that I recognize who it is, I answer.

The calls are not in regard to any debt I have incurred, but former relatives, etc who gave out my number as a reference.

I voluntarily surrendered a Hyundai vehicle to Hyundai Financial as they would not re-negotiate the loan.  Loss of income caused this to occur.  Hyundai has apparently written off the debt (owed $17,000.00 after paying on the loan for 2 years, Hyundai sold the car at auction for $14,000.00 so they are not out the national debt).  Credit report shows the loan as charged back and written off.  CCS apparently bought the contract (which I did not sign with them) for pennies on the dollar ($350.00 to be exact!).  The harrasment has gone on for 6 months as of today.  They threaten, force you into committing to a monthly payment over the phone, claim they will garnish wages and take property.  Let them try to get blood from a turnip!  As a side note, the original loan should never have been approved and the dealer refused to take the car back after 5 weeks with no loan!  The dealer conned Hyundai into buying the contract so the car would stay sold.  Bottom line, don't do business with Hyundai or Hyundai financial services.

These are related to TOYOTA FINANCIAL who are the most unscrupulous group out there.  They do not adhere to the laws regarding disclosure, harassment or responding in writing when advised to do so.

Not sure where they hired their staff from, but, these are truly mean people.

Have told these people at "Central" in Green Cove , FL,  REPEATEDLY that I am NOT the person they are LOOKING FOR & THEY PROMISE ? REPEATEDLY - TO REMOVE MY NUMBER...YEAH RIGHT!!!!  WHAT A FAT LIE THAT HAS BEEN --- FOR OVER 2 YEARS NOW!!! .  

I GOT AN ANOTHER AUTOMATED  CALL TONIGHT AND MANAGED TO REACH A VERY RUDE WOMAN.  WHEN I TOLD THE WOMAN TO STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER - AND GAVE HER THE NUMBER TO REMOVE - AGAIN - SHE HUNG UP ON ME IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SENTENCE!!!  

I WAS FURIOUS, so I looked up what can be done to these people who are harassing INNOCENT people who owe them ABSOLUTELY NOTHING...You may be interested in what I learned WE can do to STOP THEM!!!

Here are 3 steps you can immediately take if they persist in calling you:

? File a complaint with the FTC

? File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

? File a civil suit in your federal or state court

When you file complaints you will need evidence. So, if "Central" is communicating with you only through phone, tell them that you are recording their call and do record the call.

This number calls my parents home (elderly seniors) and hang up when the call is answered...I have tried to call the number back to tell them to cease from dialing my parents resident and I get a messege that my call did not go through.

these people call me all the time about some debit that I am still paying on through sally mae school loans. Why would I want to pay twice and on top of that they told me that they would garnish my wages if I didnt pay them...

This is a bottom feeding collection agency ( CCS) from all over the country who buys up old uncollected debt in huge numbers. They use different numbers and names Central 904-863-0204, Service Message 702-520-1452, unkown name 888-904-1800, 866-823-1656, Nevada Call 702-520-1452, 702-520-9113, and many more. It's on an automated dialer system. I know of no way to stop them except to change your phone # and get it unlisted or switch to a cell phone.  They have called me for a few months. I turned off my answering machine and check caller ID to see who called. They can't do anything to you except to keep calling. Only an atty can send you a summons for court. Best bet is not to answer any calls you don't recognize. Good luck to all who they hastle.

I get calls from this # and many others saying the same thing. If this is not the person, there will be a 3 second pause to go to secure area. They call 7 days a week starting at 8 a.m. till 8:58 p.m. They have many phone #'s and sometimes have a live person on the other end. I told them to stop calling!!! I will not answer this it is BS.

got bad and offensive message several times in past 2 yrs, during my hospital stay.  Very scary.

Tired of them calling.

They call several times a day. I personally don't see how they can be a profitable buisness.
I have a 'junk fax blocker' on my fax machine and entered thier numbers in it.
When they call, the phone rings once then the call is blocked. Gives me alot of satisfaction.

Stop calling if you are not going to leave a message.

Called for someone I don't know, proceeded to tell me I was a "dummy" for lying to her.  She then told me all about the person who she was trying to reach's debt and bankruptcy and then I finally hung up on her when she wouldn't believe I was not that person.

After hearing many calls on my voice-mail for "Frederick" I called the 702 number back last night.  I got voice-mail when I pressed 0 for the operator and left a message that I don't know who they are calling us for.  Asked to have our number removed.  

Today I was finally home when these idiots called today.  I pressed 1 to tell them to stop calling us.  The guy on the phone was rude and accused me of not calling.  When I told him I would give him the number called and went to change phones so I could tell him the number, he told me to 'get off his line' and hung up on me.  

Rude idiots for trying to be nice to them.
