if the number that you just got a call from is "not in service" then the number is spoofed. A spoofed number is a sure sign of a criminal scam. So don't expect to have your number removed from their list - only a legitimate, bona fide company would do that.

"this is sharon calling...Your Google specialist" ...she wants to list my (nonexistent) business so that it gets a priority place with google search.

Cold calling random numbers = big time scsm.

I've blocked the number but fully expect they will just switch to another number in the strange belief that I will want to speak to them if they merely use another number. I hate criminals but not nearly as much as I hate stupid criminals.

This seems likely to be a scam....cold calling numbers to get what ... a credit card number.

I don't know why they think I am a business!!!! Just a regular residence and it would creep me out to be listed on Bling (???whatever), google etc. Guess it is time to change phone numbers.

I also got this number on my business line. The Area Code is too far from my actual customers,so I didn't answer... No message left by the caller.

This number called today. again. They called yesterday and I asked to be removed from the calling list, upon which the guy hung up on me. Same thing today as I was trying to ask him why it wasn't done yesterday. I wish you could call the police on these people. I'm so sick or receiving telemarketing calls when my numbers are on the do not call list, and I have asked the company to remove me from their list. You can report these numbers on the Government of Canada's webpage, but I guarantee there are too many for them to do anything...

I to got a call from these people but what I did was press one and got a real person on the line right away and I asked him very politely to remove my phone number from their list and he done so the first time then about 10 minutes later I got another call from that same number so again I pressed 1 and got the same person and he apologized to me and this time he confirmed my number again and said I should not hear from them again so will wait and see if that happens. I hope this helps you out with your problem.

They just called me and said "If you want your business to be listed #1 on Bing, Yahoo & Google now, press 1".  If you hang on for a little, you can press 9 to be removed from the calling list.

I keep getting calls from this number, the latest on November 28, 2011, the only problem is that they keep dialing my fax number and I can't call them back to have them remove me from their list because the recording says their number is not in service.
Frustrating!!  At least if they called my phone I could tell them to stop calling.

They called me on Oct. 27th, but of course didn't leave a message. Based on what I see here, I'm just going to dump them in my Telemarket Sandtrap system.  Gotta love these telemarketers ....

Just got a call from them, an automated recording requesting me to press 1 to see if my business qualified for one of their packages or press 2 to be removed from their list.

Google ... unsolicted call, unrequested call and Google, like all the other telemarketers (in the general sense) out there have no right making unsolicited phone calls. Just a thought ... is Google not making enough money otherwise that they must resort to unsolicited phone calls? Actually, it's not just telemarketers that fit this description. This category also includes unsolicited surveyors, fund raisers, scam and fraud perpetrators, concerned citizens, banks, credit card comanies, pharmacies, retail stores that happen to abuse collected phone numbers, travel companies, community associations, political parties, collection agencies ... When can this be declared as illegal?

If your in Canada call the CRTC and your telephone provider (Telus Bell etc) CRTC will not want to do anything until the phone company fails but be persistant.

I received an automatedcall from 905-223-4161. Anyway I can stop this from happening again?
My nuber is already on the 'do not call' list.
