Telemarketer for ADCS  he called it.  "Air Duct Cleaning Services"   Will hangup on you if you question them, then call again the next day.  Troublesome and annoying with barely any English, yet they call London Ontario.  I want to report them, but not sure how to go about that.

East Indian male insists that we called them to book our ducts to be cleaned.  "Don't you remember??" is what he keeps saying and won't let us hang up.  They are phishing for information and won't let up.

We get calls from this number between once and ten times per week. They called four times in one day a few weeks back. I wish there was a way to shut the damn phoneline down.

Duct cleaning, I just shouldn't have answered a number I don't recognize. He asked the square footage of the house first thing. Told him politely we had our ducts cleaned last year and weren't interested, he insisted they had a 50% off deal and began to get agitated, asking the square footage of the house again. I told him I wasn't interested and hung up on him.

They are calling from INDIA, the no-call list/laws doesn't apply to them, just google it:

Got a call from this number at 1:22 today.  We are on the no call list.  Guess they have found a way around it.

i just received a call from 905-241-1789 nobody was there, no click nothing.. I hung up..

They called me today at 4:50pm at my home in Toronto.  Didn't leave a message so I assume they're telemarketers.

The best thing is do not answer the call and let your answering machine do the job.  If they leave a message that is fine and just delete the message if you are not interested.  My advice to you is before you pick up the phone just look at the screen on your phone.  If you see phone numbers without name (just phone number) or private number or business phone number, then do not pick up the phone and let it go to your answering machine.  If they leave a message, fine, and if you are not interested then just delete it.  If they hung up before it goes to your answering machine, it is even better and you know automatically that they are unwanted calls.

Stop calling our home

These idiots have called me about a dozen times in the last month. I finally called CRTC to report them. They need to give it up. I am sooooo tired of them calling me.

Same dick as usual selling duct cleaning services.

I get the call weekly, and now I have resorted to reporting it, because I am on a no call list, but more fun is to play pranks on them when they call.

It's become my weekly entertainment. Every time I come up with something funny.

Last night was, are you Mr Wing or Mr Wong, cause you definitely wing the wong number.

The same here, in the Greater Toronto Area.  Call Display says Unknown Name - so likely a spoofed number for one of those scammers.  Another poster tipped to a good piece that can be viewed for free on-line:  CBC Marketplace: To Catch a Telemarketer.

Remember - any call wanting your personal data or anything relating to your credit card number or income level, is a scam by organized crime; they want your data so they can create Fake IDs and commit more fraud.  Don't call back, or press ANY buttons - just hang up; and report with details (date, time, content) to your anti-fraud unit and help track these b.....ds down so they can be prosecuted.

Received call from a robo dialer, which then connected to telemarketer. I just hung up.

Ditto for me. Got 2 calls in a row. Very annoying. I am in burlington.
