Wow! It is disgusting to see how people are so quick to judge others! Honestly we are talking about telemarketing here and in my opinion isn't better someone is trying to earn a living by working and not sitting at home collecting welfare??  I received a call from this "Jmc Design" carpet cleaning company and the young lady was very polite i wasn't interested at this time to clean anything but she left her # and website and i saw these 800 notes and was disgusted by how people have nothing better to do than putting down companies trying to make a living!

I have hired them through their persistent, but polite cold calls Why do some of you think people only write in to citizen, and the compliments are phony?

What makes you think they are untrue?  What should make anyone reading your testimonial to be true?

Actually, I didn't!  However when you GOOGLE a company many sites pop up and I happened to see this one when I wanted to see what else the company does and felt the need to write what I ACTUALLY experienced!  Just like people have the right to make, frankly rude and untrue statements it doesn't hurt to give a positive review if one deserves it!

so, let me get this straight - jmc "serviced" your carpets and upholstery, and you were so satisfied that you rushed right over to your computer and looked up their phone number on 800notes just so you could post your good experience here?  yeah, right!

i smell a shill!  you've had lots of other companies clean your carpets?  most normal people clean them every 4 or 5 years, so are you just making this stuff up?

"Dana" I hope you'll think twice about pissing off potential customers by calling those already on the Do Not Call list.  Telemarketing is annoying and not the best way to earn customers. Period. Don't become part of the problem.

I normally do not speak to telemarketers because they are usually rude or you cannot understand them or they call in the evenings. However, when a representative from JMC Design called me about carpet and upholstery cleaning, i found myself listening to the caller and eventually booking an appointment.  They are very polite and best of all, i could understand every word.  Also, unless specifically asked to do so, they never call in the evening. I was also very impressed with the job and have never had any major complaints myself.  The one time i did have an issue, it was dealt with right away within the 5 days they specify in their guarantee. Also, i like that they offer discounts for referrals and great specials throughout the year.
i have been a client of JMC Design for 7 years now, and i will continue to use them for all my home maintenance needs.

JMC Design serviced my carpets and upholstery and I was very satisfied!  I would highly recommend them to ANYONE looking to get what you pay for...

Hello everyone.  Just read all of your posts and wanted to vouch for the company inspite of your grievances.  I have used this company for many years now and can honestly say that they offer a fantastic service.  I've had my carpets cleaned by many other companies in the past (i.e Sears, and an few other gentlemen that worked for themselves, referrals and so on); the service was impeccable and althought they aren't the least expensive, it certainly was worth every penny.  I too received a random call during which someone stated that they were in the area etc... I took down the number of the company and did some research.  It turned out that they indeed had many customers on my street and in the surrounding area.  Further research proved that they had been in business for many years so I called them back and took my chances.  Let me say I was happy and will not use another company again.  The service was professional and thorough and I've referred many family and friends to use this company as well (which gets me a discount).  Telemarketing (as annoying as it has become) is still the best way to advertise your business; and as a business owner myself, I will certainly consider doing so myself!  Cheers!

I  got a call from this company  several months back stating that they were cleaning in my area as well, which they said they "Bought out" my previous carpet cleaning company.   I was skeptical indeed!
I managed to find that old card and I gave them a call just to see what happened to that nice gentleman who treated me right  last year. I was right;   he was still working in the business, and the  company who cold called me was LIEING!!!
People beware.

They just called my landline.

I asked the person if they were aware of something called the "do not call list". She said she was, and seemed to show little interest in the fact that she was in violation of federal law.

I then asked for the supervisor, who identified herself as "Andrea", who took a very dismissive attitude towards my contentions.

She said that all she can do is apologize profusely, and agreed to fax me their do not call policy (as they are required to maintain!) and to put me on their internal do not call list.

I know I'll never get that fax.

I then told her that damages would be sought (I.e. JMC design taken to court) in the case of a future call.

Andrea ended the call with a very patronizing "Thank you so much for letting us know that."

What a great way to start the day.

I'll be on the lookout for more posts about this company. They should not think, even for a second, that illegal cold calls are the way to land sales.

Call from a carpet cleaning company stating that they were working in my building (condo) and wanted to offer a carpet cleaning deal. They had my name and obviously my address (knew it is a building). I called the company, J something cleaners, and the person who answered said he was permitted to call customers unless I asked him not to call and personally gave him my phone number. I have never had my carpets or upholstery cleaned by these people. Clearly a cold call. Can anything be done about such calls?
