These guys have been calling for months! We have been rude, nice everything. Tonight I got the name- home expert duct cleaning. I am getting a new number after 25 years and bell is not charging me as I am on the do not call list and these guys still call- as soon as you try to tell ask them anything about who they are they hang up on you mid sentence!!!!

I placed a harrasment complaint with the Toronto police concerning a different company that this one and the calles stopped after they investigated.

I had the same problem with another duct cleaning company.  I placed a compalint with the Toronto Police and they contacted him.. The calls stopped.

This number keeps calling my house daily, no one talks and when I call it back says the number is not in service, how are they calling then.  Its driving me nuts.

Called our house 3:50pm, ringed a couple times, when picked up to answer gave me a dial tone (like the hung up before I was able to pick up). Checked it ONLINE and thanks for everyone reporting it, glad I didn't answer it. Will add them to my blocked caller list.

They called just now 3:43pm and I hit the answer button on my cell in error so I said hello anyway, I was greeted with silence, then the call disconnected. Please, can somebody not do something about this?

The bugger is coming to give me a quote.  My pitbull is hungry and waiting :-)

They call me weekly with similar but slightly different company names. Today it was ARV duct cleaning services. Told them before I don't have ducts, Cannot get them to stop so I just hang up.

According to information I found on another website,

"Phone number: 905-267-1263 is located in Cooksville, Ontario.  Its exchange 267 is managed by CALL-NET COMMUNICATIONS.  The number is currently on switch number COOKON73713 (switch is a technical specification for phone hobbyists)."

CALL-NET was bought out by Rogers, so it seems that whoever is using this number is one of their customers.

Got a call at my home in Brantford from 905-267-1263.  Silence on the other end, apparently no-one there.

Attempts to call this number gets a recording saying that the "number is out of service".

These "air duct cleaning service" people have been calling our house fr over 4 months.  We have blocked their number but they keep changing it. By the way i am a 12 year old kid so one day when they called i was so mad i started to make things interesting.

Duct man:Hello how are you
Me:Fine
Duct man:we have been reported that your air ducts need cleaning
Me:sorry we do not have ducks, do you have some, QUACK! QUACK!
Duct man:pardon me?
Me:I said we do not have ducks, but we have some geese can you clean those!
Duct man:I think you are trying to mess with me
Me:and i know we are not on the no call list so if you keep calling I will call the police
Duct man:Okay...Goodbye now.

How many square feet ?  
a) ask him why he's calling you feet square. How can he see them to know anyway.
b) tell him in Canada we use metric.. please explain how to convert from metric to feet
c) I have 134.506 square feet. Eventually you can let him know you counted all the condo/apts in the building.

IF he does not go away yet.. let him come on over but of course the address will be to some shopping mall or condo building.

I am so sick of answering my phone to this number, even early morning. If you try to ring back it says "this number is not in service" THIS IS HARRASEMENT" I am a senior and demand that this is stopped by Bell

Had similar call today 2:20 (Eastern Daylight Time)PM. agent says they have 50%off cleaning price , asks how big is my house? I reply 5 thousand square feet. He comments that it is a big house. He asks how many bedrooms it has. I reply two. , but it has multiple levels. He asks how many furnaces it has? ,I reply "you mean energy conversion devices", he laughs, but confirms yes, how many? I reply Two, Now here is the kicker, I tell him I have hot water heating (Its the most efficient, but no Ducts), so the Ducks are out back and they just got rained on today,so they are nice and clean. He finally clues in, and then politely says good bye.

Well got another call again today after he called me yesterday also.  Got a bit more info off of his this time.  He said his name was IRFAN  ???  and the company that would actually do the work is called FRESH AIR DUCT CLEANERS based in Toronto.  I asked him if he knew we are on do not call list, he said he would have to check.  I said well let me help you.  You keep calling everyday now and twice you have apologized for calling saying you realized I was on the list.  This being because I actually agreed to your service.  I told him I was recording the conversation, which I was.  I then report to the DNC complaint site which is what you should do as every complaint will be used against them.  There is a current investigation ongoing as I talked to both DNC and CRTC today about it.  They will not discuss any info but they say they need the complaints filed.  The guy at CRTS even said he gets the calls himself and most of his day now at work is spent talking to people about this problem, so they might actually be working on it, HOPEFULLY.  The idiot on the phone when I said I was recording it said he was sorry and would not call any more.  I laughed and said yeah, I guess we'll see tomorrow when you call again eh !!!!!!

got a call today.  Been getting calls repeatedly from them from all sorts of numbers.  I heard this guys name is Rupen Balaram Sivaram and is a Tamil Refugee that lives in Scarbourough Ontario.   Also told he was a paralegal that had his license revoked, wonder why.  Says his company is Home Care Experts Air Duct Cleaners.  The guy knows we are on a DNC list but still calls.  He threatened me that he would keep calling one time when I blew up on him and said WHAT CAN YOU DO?  He is a total jerk.  Reported him to DNC registry again.  Hoping something gets done soon with him.

These SOBs have been calling me incessantly for months.  I can't get it to stop.  I even had them to come to my house so that I could tell them to f-off in person.  I called the police and the 'Do Not Call' people on these guys but neither of them would take any action..  There seems to be no recourse.

We just say: Wait a second, I'll just get the house owner...  and then leave the phone off the hook.
That way it wastes their time, and during that time they are not making any calls to other people.

This dialogue is brillant.  I have printed it, and I NOW am looking forward to the duct cleaning people to call.  SInce getting mad doesn't work, le't waste their time instead.  Thanks for your solution.

I received several calls from the 905 area.  This time the number is 905-342-1223, and the lady wants to sell you duct cleaning services.  When I told her that she was the 10th person to have called, the line was disconnected by her.  They want to bother you, but they can't take the heat when you are mad at them for harassing you.

I called CRTC and have already been registered for years on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  Obviously, this list does not work, or these offenders are brave and do not care about the fine.

I've told them to stop calling, they responded by telling me "no". Then the guy starts swearing at me.

This person named Ali called me from this number and kept making small talk forever and so when I finally asked what he was calling for he said "he's calling to make friends, would you like to be friends?" ...strangest phone call ever

they called me at 1pm today, but no one was home, cuz like most people, we have real jobs, unlike these jerkoffs

Our machine picked up, and the lady on the line either didnt notice, or never heard of an answering machine before cuz she kept saying hello and sayin "I'd like to talk to mr and mrs fines"

There is no "Mrs fines" here, there is a mr fines, but no mrs fines, so its clearly not a company either of the two of us have affiliations with!

No message just silence when call answered, then after a minute or so the call disconnected.

Have fun with it....speak awkward, loud, and slow...interupt their talking points.  You waste their time...this makes them not want to phone you back. Here's what I did:

Ductman: Pardon, sir
Me:  why do you want to know about my bedrooms...are you a pervert.  YOu pervert
