For the past 4 weeks I got no "telemarketing" or "scammer" call me. But right after the provincial election over, calls start to came in again. All those 4 weeks I only got political robo calls form 2 major parties. At first, I just block them right after I pick up the first call. But strange things happen, they begin to switch phone number to call me. Using the same method as the "telemarketing" or "scammer". In curiosity, I research all those political robo call numbers. The numbers that the "Blue" party use were previous calling people for debit consolidation just a month ago. The robo call numbers use by "Red" party were calling people for air duct cleaning and Bahama Cruise before.  From those numbers, people at the forum say those call center were in India or Pakistan. I always feel skeptical about this theory, cause they never call me on Labour day, Good Friday or Victoria Day. Are all these days also a statutory holiday In India and Pakistan too? Furthermore, I think there is a rule say no outside of the country help/assistance for the provincial election. So that make those call centers are located within Canada not outside of our country.  I did call both candidate asking them to tell me who they hire for the robo calls. One candidate say they did not hired anyone to call me(what a liar). The other candidate say he can not tell me, instead what he can do for me is to ask the call center to remove my number permanently form their data bank.
Maybe that's why CRTC never can get rid of the call center.

This number keeps calling we tell them that we are not interested and before we can tell them to stop calling they hang up.

Just got the first call from these jerks since we unlisted about a half year ago. (Used to get three or four calls a week.) I think they get a copy of the Do Not Call List and dial every number on that list after they exhaust the phone book. What is the *#%?ing point of that dumb a** DNCL? (I had just re-added my number to the DNCL on Friday after the provincial Tories started harrassing me - irony, it turns out politicians can ignore the DNCL, as well as newspapers selling subscriptions.)

A few weeks ago these pitiful ah scammers called, and I told them the ducts DID need to be cleaned as there were ducks living in the ducts--could they get them out? Didn't appear they spoke or understood enough English to know the difference, but I tied them up for 10 or 15 minutes until they hung up. They are sort of fun to play around with, if a person has the time.

I always tell 'em my ducks are self-cleaning.   I say I have 3 Muscovys, 4 Pekins and 3 Mallards.  I say they do their own cleaning.

I then ask them do they know any good Chinese restaurants where I can get decent crispy duck.

They usually speak lousy English with a Hindi accent, and I've gone around and around with them with the  duct/duck talk.    You can wind 'em up for a while .

I have gotten this call at least a dozen times.. I've answered 3 or 4 times, and each time asked them to please stop calling me, and remove my name from any calling list... Pointless... They just keep calling and calling.. ENOUGH!!!!

Called multiple times over the last few years ... air duct cleaning... what is Bell doing about the DNC List??? A fairy tale, n'est-ce pas?

I answered a call from 905-292-1232 and the lady indicated she was offering duct cleaning services (surprise),  I asked if she had referenced the DNC list and she said she had not.  I asked her for her name (Leona Stevens) and company name (Safe Air Duct Cleaning) and after providing the info she asked why I was asking.  I said I would report her and her company to the CRTC at which point she hung up.  I submitted a complaint to the CRTC DNC folks and will now wait to see if anything comes of it.

Got a call from this number.  Said they were air duct cleaning services. I interrupted and asked the company name and was immediately hung up on.

Asked for Mr...... When i said there was no Mr. they banged the phone in my ear. I guess  females has no rights.  The person had East Indian accent. Right at 515pm just starting to make dinner.

Received a call from Air Duct Cleaning.  When I asked for the location of their company, I was told it was in my neighborhood.  When I asked for their specific address, the agent refused to give it to me and tried to deflect the question.  When questioned further, they hung up on me.  Obviously a scam.
