The ionformation that you have provided is marginally true.  Furthermore, no lawyer will sue you if you do not have 'real property'.  There would be little recourse to collect on the settlement.  I would counsel persons not to feel compelled to pay if they cannot.

This office called my son to ask about me. They have no business doing this.

I just got a call from the same number 905-296-3537, from the woman named Roseanne, in regards to an account from an account that I had nearly 12 years ago, saying I owed them an obscene amount of money.  I have been working for the same place for nearly 7 years now and I am not exactly all that hard to get in contact with, so why would it take so long for a company or "law firm" as they state to contact me if I truly owed them money.

A lady with an accent calls asking for ppl who dont live here. I told her they dont live here, she gave me info on person and said to tell them to call 9052763537 about some dealing with Ministry of Health claims. I wrote it all down but have no idea wth shes calling old numbers for and  giving out ppls info to strangers. She also claims to be "Rosanne" from lawyers office Steven Walters.

I received the same message from this number that everyone on this page is getting.The only difference is the lady said her name was Roseanne short from Rose, obviously. I called the number back but they had no idea who I was which is ridiculous considering they called and asked for me. Steven Walters Law Office is who they said they were. Roseanne had an accent and until I read the other comments on here I thought she was saying Steven Holder Law Office.....lol Anyway,she is either a law office or a bill collector you can't say your both unless you state you are a law firm who was asked to handle a case for money you owe a company.

Have got 2  calls from Roseanne saying we have an outstanding debt at a local hospital. We're covered under 2 healthcare plans and have never had any outstanding debts with them or the hospital. Can't figure out how they got medical information though....that's scary.

I do not answer long distance calls unless I know who they are

For two years now I have been receiving calls from this number but I always seem to miss their calls. They always leave a message and say "This message is for Donald [last name]. I have no idea who that is and don't know a Donald. I don't live in Ontario. You'd think after two years they'd realize they have the wrong number?

I just spoke to a woman named Rose and after asking her for proof that she has the right to collect on behalf of company she said she didn't to provide proof and i told her i would be reporting her...i told her i seen these comments about her company calling people and she said she would be making some comments about me on here..i kept demanding  proof from her that she has the debt and the right to collect and she wouldn't provide it

well they keep calling my home and work  same person Rose  and i live in Alberta ?  isn't it against the law to contact you at your work.?  especially if you tell them to stop calling you there

I think that if they have any business with you, they should send out some sort of confermation, as to who their client is, if they know so much, they must have an address to give you an opportunity to call, then, maybe start harassing with the phone calls... The law works both ways!

How long is this going to gone on for!  To date I know 15 people including myself who have been contacted by Stephen Walters Profession Corporation claiming that an outstanding debt is owed for overdue memeberships to Premier Fitness.  Some have been lucky and kept their cancellation notice, I however did not as it has been over 5 years since I cancelled my membership.  I asked this collection agency to send me official documentation, all I received was a letter basically saying what I was told over the phone.  Since I don't have proof that I did cancel and they don't have proof that I didn't I wonder how this would play out in court if it went that far.  There is a definate pattern here with Premier Fitness, will the Better Business Bureau take notice?

Yeah this woman keeps leaving messages on my answering machine, i live in Montreal, and have no business dealings in Ontario, so i won t call back simply, bunch of phonys, from what i read.....get these people, all fraudulent. Money hungry !

Got a call looking for Raymond and left the number to return call. I returned call got voice mail. If this is a debt collector, he got the wrong name. I have zero debt. Got to be a scam.

It is a woman from a lawyers office that was assigned by another party to collect the any monies that are owing to them. They hire the people from the lawyers office to get the money back for them.I have been making payments from 2010 and still am

According to the fdcpa even law firms attempting to collect debts must prove they have the right to collect the debt. http://www.creditinfocenter.com/rebuild/debt_validation.shtml will help explain. Since these people can't prove they have rights to collect they need to quit calling me.

A family member received a call for me on their telephone number from 905-296-3537. I called the number and got the voice message.  I could not make out the message. The only part I made out was the last 2 words Professional service.  I contacted a friend in Ontario to search the number and they found nothing.   This is a scam.  I don't live in Ontario.

I've had about 4 calls from this number now...I always say that I'm not available and offer to take a message. Then when I call back I get voicemail.

I had a call too from this number. I got a name to call back, and a number. But it came up unnamed on my id. I could only get out of my voice mail that she left....Stephen Walters=====office.

Yes it is against the law to say your a lawyer when your not or lead somebody to believe your a lawyer or a law firm when you are not.

However despite what the person above had mentioned, this is not a collection agency and is in fact a law office and a registered lawyer.

Ignoring the calls will only end up in your being brought to court. Law offices are not required to follow the procedures of a collection agency. If you have any further questions as to who this is or anything else you should contact them directly. I am posting the information below for you to use.

Just remember if a law office is contacting you they have good reason to and 99.9% of the time have what they need in order to sue you or they wouldn't bother taking on the case file. The best thing to do is contact them and speak with them and see what you can do to deal with the issue at hand...I think you will be pleased to find out that they are not going to bite you and that as with anyone else are always willing to work with you.

I have no idea why we are getting calls from this number.  We don't know who it is or what it could be about.  The messages are for my boyfriend.  He doesn't give our home number out to anyone.  The calls also started just a few weeks after the phone number was connected and he didn't even know the number.

After receiving two messages for a person I do not know, I called and left a messaged informing them of their error and requesting that I not be phoned again. I'm still getting messages.  I've asked them to stop and they have not; this is harassment.

The lady who called had an accent. When we called it back we got a machine that sd the Professional Corporation. I dont know who this is. Never even heard of them.

I just recieved a call from the same number regarding a claim from the Ministry of Health for my 9 year old son. ?????Wouldn't the ministry of health contact me first!? I think so!!  JERKS!!!!!
