This is service provider fault. Why they provide our number to any telemarketing or any comapny.So any strange person can call any time.There should be some solution for that

I received a call from 905-296-6792 at 5:25pm Sunday evening (March 20/2011) saying they are calling from the Conservative Party of the Prime Minister Stephen Harper's office.
I want to verify if the Prime Minister Stephen Harper's office is making such calls because I do not want to recieve any such calls. I have sent the Conservative Party an online note asking if they called me.
The person on the 'phone said she was calling on behalf of the Prime Minister's office for fund raising event.
This is very disturbing..however, I have been instructed to contact my local Police Department to report this, which I am going to do and inform all the media sources.
I DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO ANYONE.

They call us (Misssissauga, do not call list) as well a lot. Yesterday, I answered. A woman asked for two persons; she knew first names. I said I could take a message. She immediately disconnected.

I received a call at 9:30 last evening (March2/2011).
The person on the 'phone said he was calling on behalf of the Prime Ministers office for some fund raising event.
I have had several calls which I reported to my local Service provider and they tried calling some of a list I kept.
The response was...the number was not in service.
This is very unnerving..however, I have been instructed to contact my local Police Department to report this.
I DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO ANYONE........A lesson for all who are getting these calls.
