I had my ex trying to track me down (find my new address), by asking a friend who works for Koodo to look up my address in their system. I had emailed Koodo's privacy department about the issue and they called me back from this number.

spoke to the 18005670000 number. lady that answered was very polite. said it was telus marketing calling, and they use a recording to call. however having the dead air is not what customers should be hearing. if you call that number, they will take you off the marketing list, and not call again (after a few days before it actually kicks into effect). she was very polite on the phone, and after letting her know about this site which has a number of complaints for the 9053102255 she said that she will be looking into this site and all the complaints.

I called TELUS security. Karen, Cindy and Debbie all refused to take me off thier list. They said that even though its a TELUS number calling me, that I have to call my own company to complain. So, I call them 10 times a day to give them a taste of their harassment

I just started getting calls from this number.  I am just in the habit of not answering calls from outside area codes.  I have also had enough of Telus and this is just another reason to be with a cheaper/more reliable provider.

i am a telus customer, and for the past 2 to 3 weeks i have been getting these calls from 905-310-2255.. i'm a customer! why do you need to get my business back? when i answer the call, there is no one there.. have tried to call the number back, but it says that it is not in service. am going to try the security number above, hope it works.. its' quite bothersome to see this number calling constantly yet no one is there when i pick up the phone, and no messages are left!!

I actually told the guy on the 9053102255 to take me off the list and he wouldnt. Its not a collection agency. THey are reading what to say.  HE wouldnt stop. I wold say take me off list and he would continue to read. Crazy.

b, ask to speak with a supervisor.. call the telus number listed above and they will remove you off their list. i was being called a few times daily by the 905 number. and after asking the lady at the number that i saw others post (telus marketing) i have only gotten 1 call. she told me that it would take a day or two to get me fully off their lists.. and it's been 3 with 1 call that was the day after i called.. so not bad so far.

I received lots of calls from this number.  Call Telus Privacy at 604-567-0000.  You will be put through to a person who can remove you from their automatic dialler.

It is the Telus Marketing Dept. autodialer. I just called the security # 1-800-567-0000 and spoke w an operator, she was very pleasant and took me off the marketing list immediately. She noted that Telus has 31 days to stop calling and after that they will hold my name on the list of DNC for three years... they are then again allowed to market to me until I call to have my name removed.
I am a Telus phone customer - they were calling to try to get me to switch to TelusTV

yes this number calls me all the time too.

Here is what i do now.  I tell all my friends and family to leave a message after 10 rings on my phone.  I have call display and a light comes on my phone when someone is calling and I check messages about two times per night.

I leave the ringer off, and know that if it is important they will leave a message.  In the mean time, i am going to waste the callers time when they call me, they can keep calling me all they want, because i remove all the numbers every night, and if they are on the line, they can listen to the ringing all they want, because i hear absolutely nothing.

I refuse to put my number in do not call list, because I am sure they will get a hold of that list too.

As far as I am concerned, they can all go to heck.

The Canadian DNC List is a friggin JOKE!  It does not work.  It never did.  Chances are, it never will (check all the numbers/organizations that are "exempted" from having to adhere to not-calling any number on this list).

We had all our numbers (land and cell) on that list since it started, and made sure these numbers are still on it.  And yet, we still get Telus and such other jerkoffs to call us at least once a day.

I did receive a call from this no. but I am wondering if anybody has had the same experience I had. I called 310-2255 to get things resolved on my acct. and internet.Istead I was put on hold for hours. Kept calling back as no-one would call me . A supervisor was to call instead I got a call from a manager telling me that I could no longer call there as I was calling too much.Iwas then told that Telus security would be calling me. Phoned City Police who immediately logged info. and explained what my rights were.I AM FLOORED THAT A MANAGER IN CUSTOMER SERVICE COULD DO THIS. So was their security office. they asked was I abusive threatening No to both just called too much because no one
would return calls. As the police advised immediately switched my provider and they too are in awe that
Telus would do this to loyal customers. WHAT THIS MANAGER DOESN'T UNDERSTAND IS THAT WE
PAY THE BILL AND THEREFORE THEY CAN LOSE CUSTOMERS TO OTHER PROVIDERS.Just a note here everyone at TELUS STATES THEY ARE A MANAGER. thats why no-one is available to take calls

I use Telus for my home phone, cell phones and internet.  They have no reason to be calling my house.  And they've called my number five times today alone.  And we're on the do not call registry!

The problem is even if you tell them to remove your TN, is not possible. The agent talking to you does not have the power to do that. Telus is doing this calls and they call them "outbound", they are losing money. The are good trained agents from Loyalty and Rentention team in Calgary. THey are supposed to make $7.00 out of every outbound call. They only way you can stop this is by doing the following: Sign up for all of their products, or switch to Shaw and put all of your services with them with private tn (telephone number)

I have been getting calls 2-3 times per day for the last couple months.  If I answer there is no one there, if I don't answer, they do not leave a message.  I looked through this message board and here's some advice I found that actually works:

If you are a Shaw customer just block this caller:

1. Lift handset and wait for the dial tone.
2. Press *60 to enter the command options menu.
3. Press the number 3 to activate Selective Call Blocking.
4. Key in the # sign.
5. Enter the phone number to block (1-905-310-2255).
6. Press the # sign.

telus tried to tell me it isnt them, but then offered to put a stop to all promotional calls from them. the csr said it would tak ea week to clear up...i havent got a call yet today...however the day isnt over.

I have just spoken with the security dept at telus and this is the telemarketing depts automated call system. If you are receiving these calls, contact the security dept and ask to have your number unlisted. If the problem persists, contact telus as they need examples of persistant calling by their automated dialing service to have this fixed.

I get this number every once in a while.  I phoned it back and got through to their customer service....I asked who this number belonged to and I got the answer Rogers Wireless....it's not Telus or Shaw.  I don't deal with Telus and I have Shaw now.

This number is just killing me. All the time phones and phones without an answer...They did call from Telus so many times, but with other number or private and we asked for remove us from the list, but i see they still don't stop! They are very rude!
