i also get a ton of calls from these a***oles, so heres how i'm going play it out. I agreed to have them come to clean my ducts on May 26 2014. however when they arrive i will tell them to go f#%* themselves and tai my number of my list. You wasted my time now I was theirs.

My GMAIL account shows in Settings, Security, Your Recent Activity March 26 2014,  IP jakarta , IP Address  141.0.10.45  opera-mini.net , Then I looked up 141.1.10.45 shows up this Canadian phone number.  Someone in Jakarta or Canada used my Gmail account, probably looked around my emails, when I was not using my Gmail. Islam hacker !

We are all tired of the telemarketing duct cleaners.  Since you cannot get the overseas telemarketers off your back, maybe take a different approach? i.e. give them back a bit of their own medicine.

Call the local duct cleaning companies that do the work instead.  They are the ones that pay the overseas telemarketers for the phone leads.  Call the local company and leave them a message saying you want duct cleaning services and give them one of the other local duct cleaner numbers on the attached list as the callback number.  That way, they get to talk to each other.

If they answer your call rather than voicemail, then ask them if they called for duct cleaning as you got their number from someone saying they want duct cleaning.  They get totally confused.  Really funny!

If enough people do this, they will have to change their phone numbers, and the signs on their trucks, etc. Try it out.  I get the phone numbers from Kijiji ads.  Any firm offering specials less that $150 is likely part of the telemarketer scams and is a good start.  Here is a starter list for you. Remember call one and leave a different on as the callback number.  If you get a live answer, try and sell them some duct cleaning.

I get a call absolutely everyday  form this company  Air Duct Cleaning Services    who are they and how can they be stopped

A while back there was a duct cleaning company come to our area passing themselves off as a legitimate company using local company names.

It appears they are back. I just got call from a company with a thick eastern indian accent, calling themselves Home Care Experts offering a deal that's way to good to be true. I asked for a number and had him repeat twice because I had my suspicions, so that I can call them back but the number he gave me doesn't exist. I googled that company name and noticed all these complaints made against them. They are not a local company. Last time they were here, the local news as well as the police were looking to talk to them.  Sudburians should be aware.

I did notify Sears Duct Cleaning in Sudbury and they assured me they have no one working for them nor ever have had with a thick eastern indian accent nor do they do any telemarketing.

I strongly suggest you google the name for yourself and read what's written about Home Care Experts (duct cleaning).

These guys are calling form Karachi Pakistan.  Once you agree to buy their duct cleaning service, they sell your information to a local duct cleaner and this is how get around the "do not call" system. So feel free to swear at these guys because they know what they are doing is illegal.

So home care expert duct cleaning doesnt exist? they call every morning even after i tell them where to go and not interested. and its always at 8am. id love to schedule them to come to the house and not be here just to waste their time.

These guys  Rison's Air Duct & Furnace I think changed their name to perfects home cleaning services  and they came in and did a horrible job missed like 4 vents up stairs. When I told the younger guy that he missed them he basically said I've been doing this for a year and I know what I'm doing, so I told him you don't know what you are doing because you missed 4 vents upstairs and didn't clean them at all. They have been calling for months.  Finally said I was interested just to get info from the guy (John). Company is Rison Air Duct Cleaning in the greater Ontario region. Got a call back number for this guy. It is 519-731-2525.  Start calling them and see how they feel.

This company calls almost on a daily basis. I have told them before we are on the do not call list and what they're doing is illegal, they just hang up. Today I spoke with them a little, offering duct cleaning, top to bottom for $110. I told him my husband had to approve first, asked for the number to call back, said he can't allow me to call back as he would lose his commission. Told me the name of the company is Home Care Experts and they're located in Mississauga. He said he'll call back later tonight to see if I've reached my husband so they can set up our appointment. Guys name was Marshall. Once I got off the phone with them, I *69'd the call, # that called is 12186980162

Actually gave them the benefit of the doubt (AT FIRST), sometimes I'm open to a deal that comes by way of telemarketer, its just business (so I don't worry too much about the accent etc.).  They called on a Saturday and scheduled me in quickly for Monday (and I was provided with 3 options of 2-hour windows - what reputable, quality company has those types of openings at this late a juncture??)

Price quoted was $130 (taxes in) which included all ducts (regardless of #) and return vents and they apply sanitizer through the system; and the agent said that we should plan for approximately 1 hr 45 min.  I asked for the company name and phone # to call back in case anything needed to change and the agent told me:

Of course, I went online to research the company (BBB, etc.) and came across a few websites, including this one, which confirms my red flags.  I proceeded to call back the number the agent provided and, of course, it does not accept messages.  I also called the number listed on the yellow pages and it just went to voicemail.  Up until then, I was truly calling to say that I've changed my mind and rather not proceed- but after seeing how sketchy this was turning out to be, I wanted to see how this would play out.

An unmarked truck arrived with 2 guys, (another red flag, unmarked truck similar to a mid-sized Uhaul moving truck) AN HOUR LATE.  We didn't answer the door of course and observed.  Like clockwork, the phone rang over and over for about 20 minutes (that's right, 20 minutes!) and the phone numbers varied and included:

The 2 guys remained on the porch, ringing doorbell and then knocking.  They left after the phone calls stopped.

Did you ever find out who they were, cause they call here everyday, sometime 2 or 3 times a day so today I asked him questions like you did and he said the name of the company was Home care experts in Mississauga. I am curious to find out if there is a way to get them to stop.

I just booked with these people, then later got a call from a very nice white male that wanted me to sign up for td insurance, I only knew they were related because the duct cleaning operator could not pronounce my name correctly, and the guy that called from td said my name the same as they did....god dam these people running these scams.

This number called our residential phone line three times in the space of thirty minutes

I receive these calls about duct cleaning on both my home numbers. I constantly ask them to take me off their call lists but that gets nowhere. Now what I've started doing is asking where they are located. of course they tell me Mississauga so I say well why are you calling me? I live in alberta. it would take you 3 weeks to get to my house from where you are? why would I want a company from ontario to clean my ducts if I can get someone from alberta. They usually end up hanging up. Then sometimes I will ask their information, just like the call I just received, and the guy actually got upset with me and said well do you want your ducts cleaned or what? I said I dont have any ducts I live in an apartment. You'll have to talk to the owner for that. they hang up. play mind games with them. it gives you a good laugh and they get all pissy about it

Truth is 99.999 % of these calls originate in a foreign country and are routed here via skype or other vehicules. The CRTC have no juristriction in India, Phillipines, etc... The list originates by you placing your name on a "Do not Call" list which is regulated by the CRTC. If the guy in India doesn't read / understand ENGLISH that well, he uses your name as potential.

There is no separate listing for call customer prospects. It was originalally Marvin Fink (of Canada) that set the ground rules. If Bell cut the Vendor off in Brampton, the move the virtual server to Scarborough. When the have exhausted all Bell quadrants, the move to Rogers, Fido, Kudo, Public, etc... Now after this 7 - 8 year period, they ar ready to go back to bell and maybe even move to a 613 or 514 and strick a Long Distance deal with the client hungery provider. Get the picture yet?

I was called for the 1223 number but I was given a cell phone number when I booked with them for today, being Jan 13 2013 I invited them and did not let them leave till after we have spoken with the boss, they call saying they are home care experts duct cleaning but the paper they had written my stuff on has a company name of SNA duct and furnace but the truck said furnace cleaning inc. I have  the number for SNA which is 1 866 964 3814  but it is always busy of course.

the other number I have is a 905 number  since I booked he gave me a number in service in case I had to cancel   that number is 905 674 6212

These Indians call me almost every day (hate them!!!). I do not have a call display so do not know the number, but I asked and they said the company name is "Home Care Experts". They did not give me their numbers to call back.

You know what you do?  Schedule an appointment with them, let them show up to your place.  Record the license plate of their vehicle, get a business card, any other info you can and then send them packing.  Let them waste their time and money driving around the city and report them with the info you get.
