I believe that most of these calls come from India----our `do not call ` laws do not apply. Perhaps the best way to deal with these callers who must get paid by their `success` rate is to stretch -out their call as long as you can (stupid questions) and THEN say NO.  I wonder if having the `company` come to your door (do NOT prepay) and then saying that you have changed your mind   would work-------they sponsored your annoyance-----pay-backs are a bi***......

Hey I have the best solution as I keep getting the calls.
1. find out the address of your local police station
2. when they call go through the process as if you are buying the package
3. refuse to give any personal information other than to book an appointment, give them a fake name and the address to the police department.

That way you waste their time and cost them some time and money!!!!!!! Have a little fun with them for a change!

The only problem with your idea is that they have your phone number and address (I'm assuming they don't have your apartment number, but that won't matter) and so they will probably send you a bill for them showing up there.

I have been getting calls at 9:30pm at least 3 times a week all summer. School has started bedtime is 9 pm. The saddest part of the whole thing is that everytime they call I answer and  tell them that I RENT and do not need my ducts cleaned. Tonight I asked to speak to a supervior and was hung up on how RUDE. I hope the comany gets these message and takes them to heart.

They continue to call, and hang up before you can even ask to be on their do not call list.

The next time they call, (if you live in an apartment like i do) tell them your address and schedule an appointment, and then they will will send someone to the apartment building and be like "wtf we can't work here". i just got a call and can't wait to see the outcome.

Called me today, labour day??? I mentioned that and the fact that I am on the do not call list, they did not care. I attempted to  be civil and asked what their business address is and he was rude about it.  He did say the business is in Toronto?  I will  be filling out the form on the government web site aobut it!  Pain in the butt!

Just got a call from these idiots.

Identify themselves as "Air Ducting Services" offering a free air duct cleaning service.  I told him my house had 14 bed rooms, and ran a coal fireplace.  He paused for a second and said are you going to get it cleaned, and I told him yah "you told me you would it for free....?" ......click (hangup from his side).

When ever a telemarketer calls, waste their time.... nothing more satisfying.

I received a call from these idiots today, on Labor Day of all days, Air Duct Cleaning Services, the guy on the other end seemed to not be amused by my attitude. I *69 the number (9053452121) and low an behold the number has been disconnected. And as to answer some of the questions of where Thorold is, it is part of the Niagara Region, it sits on top of the Niagara Escarpment south of St. Catharines where I live.  If anyone has further details of if this place is actually in Thorold somewhere post it, I would like to find them!!!!!

Received yet another call from this duct cleaning service today (Sept. 03/11)...they have been relentless in the past few months.  Each time someone calls ( it's hard to understand most of the callers as tthey have heavy East Indian accents) I ask if we have ever used their services and am told NO...which is true.  That means, according to the DNCL list mandate, they are not pemitted to make cold calls to my home. I tell them I am going to file a complaint on the DNCL website....which I do, every time, yet that gov't agency is useless.  There must be something we can do to rid our lives of the harassment from this company.  It is beyond annoying and the frustration is mounting. Obviously the DNCL won't help so what is our next step?

Received several calls this week, finally blocked it with my Panasonic handset. Amazing how a cordless phone works better than National Do Not Call List in keeping these jerks from harassing you.

This company called a few minutes ago. I just don`t answer if I don`t recognize the number.

I have been getting calls from that number. Today I mentioned to the telemarketer that the deal he was offering was great and I needed a number to call back because I did not have my credit card with me and he gave me this number 416-8000798. I called and talked to a supervisor to get my phone removed from their list

I keep getting calls from this number.  They never leave a message.  I've picked up a few times.  They are trying to sell duct cleaning services.  They've called at all hours of the day and night and even on weekends.  As soon as I try to ask them to stop calling they hang up.

They called me last night at 930pm, i kept asking them the name of the duct cleaning company they worked for and tried to get information about them but the guy kept cutting me off. he was yelling in the phone and spelling the word duct, as if i didn't understanding him after the 10th time. so rude and made me very angry. tried calling back and the number was disconnected right after. these people need to be stopped, who has the time in their day to make these stupid calls. i have my number on the national do not call list and they still call.

i wanted to get information on this company and they didn't give any. this can't be a real call, as soon as i said "no thanks" they hang up. no company would actually deal with you like they do. the man had a fake indian accent and it seemed like a prank call.

i honestly think some people fall for these calls, i wonder what happens if you say yes and ask them to send someone over. maybe someone should and call the police when they arrive.

Received 2 calls today, August 29, 2011 from this number: 1 905 345-2121. Received one call on August 28, 2011. They call most every day. Who is this duct cleaning company? Why can it make a mockery of the NDNC? Can they be sued? By whom? Where is Thorold, Ontario?

They claimed they were "Airduct Cleaning Services". When I told him that I was on the do not call list and that they were in violation of CRTC regulations, the guy hung up on me.

They keep calling to offer duct cleaning services. I keep telling them I don't have any ducts. They don't listen and insist on calling. Each new solicitors calls again and again.
