I received a phone call from this number this evening and let it go to the answering machine...sounds like a solicitation for the upcoming provincial election in Ontario.

I also got a call from this number on Friday. I imagine they are putting the touch on people to give money for their Grace Television network.

I received a call from this number this afternoon.
Some quick research shows that this number belongs to World Impact Ministries and they are based in St-Catharines, ON. They left a message on my machine with information regarding Grace TV (apparently a Christian television channel).
They are registered with CRA as a charity which exempts them from the National Do-Not-Call list, so unfortunately they are allowed to call those of us who are on it. I have not called the number back (it's long distance and not worth it to me), but I would assume that calling them back and asking to be removed from their list would yield results.

This number too is calling my house a couple times a day. I thought that when your number was listed as a do not call number it would stop this stuff. Angers me to be called and then have silence. Well really I do not like to be bothered in my own home where I pay the phone bill. I have an unlisted number and I like the privacy. Companies that use automated callers should be shut down.
