They keep telling us that we won something from a ballet that maybe we filled out a few months ago and when you tell them you are not interested they harass you!  The guy tonight told my husband to 'go to hell' when he told them he wasn't interested.  They have even called us a few times after I have hung up on them!   They called 1 time at 8am on a Sat morning!  Bastards!

Is there really nothing we can do?

I have been receiving calls from this number. Today I finally picked up to see who was calling, since the calls have become more numerous. Someone asked for "Mr or Mrs Mylastname" and I asked what it was regarding. Their English was very poor and their accent was thick. They told me they were from "Ontario Grants Canada" (I think, the speech was hard to discern) and I again asked what it was regarding.

He started talking about a coupon that I "may have filled out in December of 2008." I told him I hadn't submitted any coupon, and he started asking to confirm my name and address. I told him I wasn't sharing personal information with a stranger, he started to argue, so I hung up.

He called back immediately and yelled "WHY DID YOU HANG UP" angrily at me. I was so shocked that I asked him if he was serious and hung up before he could reply.

This number called My house 905-368-5217, the person had a thick accent and informed Me I had won a cruise....I don`t enter contests!!!
He wanted a credit card number so he could secure the tickets to My name...when I told him that there was no way he was going to get any information about me, my family or our financials, this waste of skin became rude, swore and said I was a loser for not wanted the prize, I said, "thanks for calling but I am now hanging up, if you call again I am reporting harassment"...I was told that " the company has My address and some people will be coming to My house to talk to Me"...I immediately reported this to the police.
The phone number apparently does not exist!!!!!!

I strongly advise everyone who gets a call like this (saying you won we need your credit card number...or something to that effect)..or from this phone number specifically.....hang up and call the police....these animals need to be put in cages and locked in a very volcanic mountain somewhere...there is no room in decent society for these kinds of people.

I got the same call but the number that came up was 905-368-5217. He said though he was calling from Ontario Grand Central. When I told the guy I was not interested. He began to get upset.  I then told him that I did not fill out any ballot at Christmas time and he asked how it was that he got my information (which is scary actually).  I responded with "I don't know would you like me to call the RCMP to findo ut how you got my information."  At that point he got really angry and started threatening me.  Nice eh...

I just received a call from 9051581541 and the individual indicated the company name was 'ontario grand central or centre' and that I had completed a ballot in February 2010 at a Canadian Tire which I do not recall. Anyhow, I specifically asked if this had to do with timeshares or any type of sales pitch, that I was not interested. The individual then passed me to their senior manager to provide me with a password that I needed to give to them to 'claim' one of the 5 prizes they were offering. The manager just repeated everything the previous individual had just said and was taking his time to get to the password, I'm not interested, take me off any list they may have.  I just contaced Bell and the representative couldn't find the phone number....not sure what that means.

This guy has called me a couple of times, same story, filled out a coupon at christmas, blah, blah. One time I challenged him on it and he got really made and told me to go f*#! myself. Today when he called I played along for a bit to try to get some info on him, once I got the address I found this collection of comments on him. I think this guy is a total whacko, very unstable with a seriuos drive to screw anyone he can, so I'm a little leary to further provoke him as he has my address (assuming from the phone book or other directory). I tried phone buster but they were "closed for lunch". The number he called from was 905-241-1023. So it looks like he's using a variety of numbers. I've called Rogers and asked for a confirmation of an address to go with this # and they said they can't do anything due to privacy laws.

They called my home phone number and my son did not know who they are so gave them my cell phone...They keep calling again and again even I said I am not interest the price as nothing is free in Canada and I have not filled out any price in anywhere...I am curious that there is some benefit for them from making the call as they can get paid from someone by using our phone line, phone minutes???Want to report to police...Hope somebody comes up with the solution, have anyone called the police to report these people? or just put them in the list, do you pay for setting up that list?
More information from you could help poor people...I am single mom...

I hear a lot of you complaining but not doing anything about it..I am going tonight and find out what it is all about and find out if it is ligit or not...then I can post what I find .  If any of you ever fill out anything or join any thing on the internet..that is how these companies get your number and also if you put your own name into google you will see that any thing that is public record can be accessed, which includes various names you have had and people affiliated with you...ie: family members...also age ranges...and your addresses.  Even I have seen where people's work information...so don't get angry at the people who are trying to get your money....if you exist in Canada or USA on any record they can access it...if you have yourself on the do not call list, but fill out any kind of ballet, thta is giving them permission to call you...and most companies sell the ballets to other affiliate companies and some of those companies sell it to anybody...if you give permission to them to send it on to affiliate companies.and sometimes when you don't.  they are out there to make money and it is a numbers game...they don't care how many people get angry...because if they go through enough numbers the odds are they will make a sale.  Some companies go through the phone book and just call...any numbers they see...there.  that is when the do not call list is supposed to work...I will post my experience after tonight and let you know first hand what this company is all about...I have been in legitament sales for more than 30 years and have seen it all....sorry you are all aggravated with phone calls but if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is....

They've been calling for a few days ~ same crap as everyone else. You filled out a ballot (which we didn't), come pick your prize, blah, blah, blah. So we've been screwing with them. My boyfried booked an appointment to come pick up his prize. They called the day of to make sure he was coming and they asked if he was bringing his wife. My boyfriend says 'I'm not married'. Then the guy asked if he had a gf and my boyfriend goes into this long story about I broke up with this girl and now I'm dating someone else, 'can I bring her?'. The says OK and then my boyfriend goes 'you're not gonna tell my wife are you?'. lol Then the guy asked for the gf's name and he's like Theresa Mattress, but he said it with an Italian accent ~ it was hilarious! Then he tells the guy he can't make it tonight and to please reschedule. It's actually fun messing these people around. We'll see how long we can jerk them around before they stop calling.

I received a call from Premium International tonight.  I have no caller ID but the caller, in a thick accent (South Asian or Middle Eastern) claimed to be calling from Mississauga regarding my being selected out of 2000 entries as a winning a coupon for a contest.  First prize is now a furniture package (you choose bedroom, dining room, etc.)  The second prize is $1500 CAD.  Since he was calling me locally from "Mississauga" I wouldn't suspect someone would specify "Canadian dollars" when listing it off as a prize.  Much like you above, I don't fill out ballots in stores for this very reason.  He couldn't tell me where the ballot was from, saying only that they place ballots in hundreds of stores across Ontario, obviously lying. I wouldn't answer any questions about my personal information. He was somewhat pushy to convince me I was a winner, but, once the conversation began becoming circular, I thanked him for his time and ended the call.

Got the same call last night.  "No, my husand's not home, call back tomorrow."  Lo and behold, they did!  Called back today and harrassed my husband for 20 minutes.  Eventually my husband expressed his total lack of interest and the call ended peacefully.  But when I got home, the phone was ringing again.  SAME GUY!  Heavy Indian accent, very hard to understand.  Always appreciating a good laugh, I stayed on the line to see exactly what it was all about.  They gave the same details - won a prize, pick it up on Drew Rd., blah blah blah...  The only variation to the stories others have posted is the number they were calling from; in my case, the calls came in from 905-241-1034 Unknown name.  I asked a lot of questions - none of which was answered to my satisfaction.  That's when I expressed my disgust with their marketing attempts, and asked them not to call back.  Phone rang 2 more times!  First time they remained silent.  Second time they accused me of lying to their supervisor.  I got VERY vocal about my husband's role in law enforcement, and made it clear I did not want them calling my house again.  So far no more calls, but I'm on guard.

It's truly scary how much information they already had about us -- Last name, address, income!  If you get one of these calls, be firm!  Get them off the phone and make it clear you do not want them calling again.

Got the call today, and spoke to 2 different people. The first person i spoke to sounded like a child with very bad English, and the second person sounded East Indian. Got all the same info, 5 prizes, drew road address, etc. The funniest thing i found was when they asked me if i was between the ages of 30-65, that's a very broad age group. I also asked where exactly i filled out the ballot, i did not get the answer, and they did not know my first name either, just the last name.

got the call tonight; Premium international who is "sponsored by Hakim Optical" .  I'd be pissed if i owned Hakim!  They said i filled a ballot-but asked for either mr or mrs;  i don't share my husband's name or go by my professional name for any of that stuff ever.  They had a prize claim to go to the mississauga address to draw 1 of 5 possible gifts.  I politely told the guy that it was noble to work to earn money for his family, but that he should be ashamed of scamming people.  He denied the scam.  Promptly asking for information;  age, marital status etc.  Then I jumped online to see that they ask for 2 pieces of id to get prize claimed.   This without a doubt will be a FRAUDULENT credit card making company.  Possibly sending $ overseas.

I got a call from Premium Centre and later identified as Premium International.  Purportedly representing companies such as Hakim Optical and Bad Boy Furniture.  Told me I won a prize and that I had filled out a ballot on Dec. 17th, 2009.  The man who called spoke very heavily accented English (sounded East Indian) and he passed me along to another man.  I asked the second man to fax me the ballot I had supposedly filled out and he refused saying they didn't have the ability to fax it to me.  The telephone number on the Identicall was 905-164-5046.

Hey Ajlaff, I think you're full of s*** and are working for these people and trying to convince others to show up at this Drew Rd address.
How was Montreal??? What was the "seminar" about?? I'd love to hear all about it.
Anyone who knows they haven't filled out a ballot(including myself) would know this is a scam. I've never heard of a company sooo persistant to give away prizes nor have I ever seen a company call 15 times within 1 hour when someone doesn't pick up the phone.
Sam Richards was the name of my guy...called from 905-164-5035.

Got call at 2:11pm today.  Same story, unfortunately I did fill out 1 ballot last year for something in a store so I can't say he was lying until "Daniel", the "Senior Manager" asked for my first name and I know that the ballot I filled out requested my first name! And yes, all the "personal" data was correct since it's so broad, I do fit into the same demographic as mentioned in other postings.  I don't necessarily think it's a "SCAM" scam as a few years ago I had the same pitch from Radisson Internation and we went and they wanted to sell us time-share/vacation membership and in turn we would get a prize. We spent 1.5 hrs listening to their pitch and went home empty handed. So to go as far as to think they are going to steal my identity or "mug" me at the door I think it's a little of an over-reaction.  Otherwise they would not be asking me not to take my son (since I mentioned I couldn't go in the evening because of him), say it will take 60-90 min and that refreshments will be served. There would be no need for so much detail if this was an actual scam.  We have the appointment for Saturday which we will not bother going. After listening to so many of those calls in the past, I figured the best way is to go along with it and just not show up.  The information they gave me was 1510 Drew Rd. Unit 6, Mississauga at Dixie/Derry. Tel number 416-548-5984 xt. 2424 and on call display was the number 905-164-5031 and when I called this number it asks for an international code to complete the call???  Just so people don't feel so bad, I have had friends who purchased time-shares/vacations from such marketing pitches and the only complaint they had was that the times they were truly interested in going were generally booked and they had to take their vacation at diffent times.

It would be nice to have any one else who has attended the "pitch" and write what really is about. The one posted seems to be from them since it does not mention what the "pitch" is.

got a call from a company called Premium International on 1510 Drew Rd unit 6 in Mississauga, but I noticed after reading the comments on this site that they got clever and changed their number.  Their new number is 416 548 5984.  They mentioned exactly the same information as mentioned on this site:  that I won a series of prizes, and that I had to go to the given address to pick it out of  bin.  I didn't commit to a time or that I was even going to go as it seemed fishy from the start.  First, I couldn't understand the guy talking as his accent was so thick.  Second, as soon as I mentioned I was going to run the name of his company through a friend of mine who's a police officer, the tone of the conversation changed.  The guy got nasty as he said I was giving up an opportunity to win great prizes.  Yet, the thing I found odd was that he had a fair bit of my personal info, such as address and name.  The two things that got wrong were my marital status and my income, which I did not divulge.
Seems like a scam to me, and I will report this to the police in the morning.

Got the same call half an hour ago.  I'm very skeptical!  I went with a friend once who got tricked into going to a presentation and when we said we weren't interested in their product, they started some high pressure sales tactics.
The Premium Int'l manager gave me a time to go but I said my husband is out of town.  He said he would have to call back next week to give me another appointment.  If he does call back, I may tell him about all the complaints on the web about the company.  Oh, and they told me it's a new company but I've found complaints on the web that date back to 2005 or earlier.

I received this same call last night and questioned its authenticity, The first person I spoke to had very broken English so I asked for someone I could understand. I then spoke to "Ronnie" who explained everything that has been previously listed in on this page, the 5 prizes the drew road address, all of it.

I do know that if it sounds to good to be true then it usually is but i also recently visited Las Vegas recently and received a ton of free stuff for attending time share seminars during the day and then fighting to say no for 20 minutes afterward. I was comped on my hotel, I had show tickets to almost every show on the strip, including Cirque Ka & love (Great seats too) as well as a total of 3 ipods nanos, The new ones.

I am heading to the 90minute presentation tonight and will post again afterward describing what actually happens. Especially if i walk away with any listed prize. So far i have read on this post that no one has actually followed through.

almost identicle to what I have read here - a man who spoke terrible english called to say that I completed a ballot sveral months ago - I denied ever doing this and asked where..he said, "oh a mall, or a Canadian Tire or a Wal-Mart, it was a long time ago so it is okay you don't remember"  Then he told me I won one of 5 prixes..a TV, cash, a trip to Florida, and something else.  I challenged him on several areas...he said that I needed to come into the office and stay for no more than 60-90 minutes and meet with his manager - while he was talking I looked up this site and found all the comments - I started reading some of them to him and he hung up!
