They have called me three times in the last 5 days for duct cleaning and ALL FROM THE SAME PHONE NUMBER!!!  Very annoying.

This number 905-369-1256 has called daily for a couple of weeks now. On call display when i get home for work....no message, yet when I answer nothing is said. Today, Canada Day called before 8am and again just now 8:30pm. Told them I'm reporting them but as usual nothing was said.
Just plain fed-up!

It is 2:30pm and I have already received 2 calls from this number. No message left. Should I mention that today is CANADA DAY!!! I am so disgusted to receive these kinds of calls on the day we should be celebrating this beautiful country and not harassing each other....

Sooooooo annoying when u answer there's no response from the other end and then after a minutes silence or so they just hang up

In st.catharines and they call saying duct cleaning have been for months

Call before 8PM and no message - unidentified  so what is going on - I only  answer when I know the number

This number, 905-269-1256 claiming to be calling regarding "duct cleaning services" keep calling my home phone at least once a day. It's so annoying. Every time I ask them to stop calling or to put me on the do not call list, they just hang up. I get so pissed off. I feel so harassed by them. I once asked for a manager and he was no help. Barely understands english. Next time I'm going to play along with them to see what they actually want from me. I read from one of the comments on this site that they may call to see if anybody is home in which case they would seek you out and rob you.

This company claims to be from Bell, but has information on what I have from 3 years ago. Stupid to try to sell me something if you don't know if I have it already

Called me last week and told me they wanted to help me fix my computer problems and wanted me to log onto my computer.  They called me again today as I recognized the number and told me they were from Bell Canada and had a special promotion for my home phone and internet service for $87 for 3 months.  Told them I was happy with provider I had and hung up.

For the past 4 weeks I got no "telemarketing" or "scammer" call me. But right after the provincial election over, calls start to came in again. All those 4 weeks I only got political robo calls form 2 major parties. At first, I just block them right after I pick up the first call. But strange things happen, they begin to switch phone number to call me. Using the same method as the "telemarketing" or "scammer". In curiosity, I research all those political robo call numbers. The numbers that the "Blue" party use were previous calling people for debit consolidation just a month ago. The robo call numbers use by "Red" party were calling people for air duct cleaning and Bahama Cruise before.  From those numbers, people at the forum say those call center were in India or Pakistan. I always feel skeptical about this theory, cause they never call me on Labour day, Good Friday or Victoria Day. Are all these days also a statutory holiday In India and Pakistan too? Furthermore, I think there is a rule say no outside of the country help/assistance for the provincial election. So that make those call centers are located within Canada not outside of our country.  I did call both candidate asking them to tell me who they hire for the robo calls. One candidate say they did not hired anyone to call me(what a liar). The other candidate say he can not tell me, instead what he can do for me is to ask the call center to remove my number permanently form their data bank.
Maybe that's why CRTC never can get rid of the call center.

I am also getting these annoying phone calls everyday around 3:30.  They refuse to talk and just hang up!

I'm from Mississauga too. The caller has phoned several times. I told him never to call me again. He still keeps calling.

They are not selling you anything.  I told the guy I wanted my ducts cleaned and he hung up on me.

I'm calling from the Mississauga area.  Keep getting calls from them as well and they hang up when I answer.

if you want the duct cleaning people to stop calling you
tell them you live in an apartment and have no ducts
they will remove you from their lists

Don't go through all that trouble--the duct cleaning people have no intention of showing up. Myself, and another person who posted here, got these ah's off our back LONG ago by answering, acting hard of hearing, or just plain stupid and repeatedly telling them we do have DUCKS, but ours clean themselves and are in no need of further cleaning. Eventually the callers hang up out of frustration and don't call back.Try it- it is actually fun to make bigger fools of these callers than they already are!

I am getting tired of arguing with this person I have been called 4 times today, I advise the person next time I get a call from this number and I'm going to request my duct's to be cleaned then when the Duct cleaning company showed us, then I can identify who they are and lodged a Police complaint and contact the Consumers area of the government

Just received a phone call from (905) 369-1256 a moment ago.  Though we have an answering machine, this person did not leave any msg!  If there's something important or urgent, he should leave a msg, otherwise STOP BOTHERING PEOPLE!!!

Just had another call from this idiot at 7.39pm on a Saturday, same thing he doesn't talk straight away, then in an Indian accent says he wants the house owner and it is for duct cleaning.

Told him I am on a do not call list, and to stop calling, or I will sue him and have him charged by the government.

It's annoying, they call several times a day! Time to place you in caller blocked!!!!

Recived a call from this number and I try call back the person and this number not in service or disconnected and I live in Toronto too

Just called me in Whitby. I did not answer.

I kept receiving this call at least twice a day. Said hello twice - I told him to stop calling and he got mad saying in an Indian-voice no no no... Also phone call had a lot of background noise... Told him that the call is being recorded and that I will be sending the recording to the police... Person hung up... Called the number back again and it went to a bell voice mail... Called 5 min later and the phone number was no longer in service/phone disconnected. How do we stop these folks from calling? I do not believe this is a duct cleaning company nor telemarketing- they are checking up on whether there is anyone answering the phone because more than likely these people are trying to locate a house to steal from. When my dad once mentioned what they were doing one time- the individual hung up.
