I've been getting calls all day today from this number, I've also done *69 and got the number, but I didn't call back, I did a search in the internet as many of these telemarketers are getting reports online.  What a waste of time!

D***head has been reported to the Ottawa Police, the Hamilton Police and TELUS. "The future is NOT friendly!"

He's not the first "d***head" to do this, I've had many.. and he won't be the last...my irritation is that these people can get away with this!!!!! ughhh!  what's the next step...how do we stop them?

Caller stumbled over our name and then said he was calling from Bell Canada.  He then wanted to know what services we have with Bell.  Hmmm...if you work for Bell Canada you should know!  I told him I had relatives that worked at Bell Canada and they would take care of me.  He questioned me about that and then I finally lost it on him when my 5 week old started screaming!  UGH!  This is so frustrating.  It's not even worth having a phone these days!

This number has shown up on our call display at least a dozen times in the last week.  No one is on the other end, tried calling back and there was no answer and just a dial tone.  It's getting to the point where I can't even answer my phone anymore with people like this guy calling all the time!

Received a few calls where no one answers when you pick up. *69 reveals the number to be 905-390-1698. When you call it you get a voice message "This is the d***head who keeps calling everyone. Leave me a message"

He's calling the States now - I'm in Michigan and NOT amused.

and forward it to me with your contact information.

I have been tracking all of these calls coming to me over the past 2-3 months and would like to put something together to file in US DISTRICT COURT in the next 30-90 days.

My intention is to identify a sufficient number of victims and offenders to initiate a federal class action lawsuit against (a) individual harassing companies and (b) the telephone companies that facilitate their customers harassment of other customers. Action against the LECs and CLECs would be based on their permitting fraudulent caller ID information (i.e. phone numbers that when called back are "not in service"), their failure to assist customers being harassed, their REFUSAL to block incoming calls from specific numbers that are long distance, and their refusal to provide  specific assistance from their "security department" to victims of such harassment without charge.

I got a call today @ 1031AM. After I answered it hung up.
When I called back, I got a message "Due to technical difficulties we are unable to route your call 416 11." repeated in french.

i got a call from the same number 905-390-1698 and if i call it its always the busy signal.

It appears that Mr. "D" lives somewhere on Dundas Street in Hamilton - (according to locator map)I'm wondering how we (the recipients) of his calls are related - there are long distance charges involved calling my home in Oakville...so how did he choose us? I've blocked him now..HA!

Got the call tonight at 8:53 PM   called it and the same message.   I have been having issues with Bell calling me non stop to sign up for their service (like thats ever going to happen again).

Same here - today (Feb.25) and last week as well... really upsetting when you actually have friends in Hamilton that could be in need of help! Can't anybody stop this - I'm going to arrange for call block services - yet another charge to my monthly phone bill! Caller ID the same - (905)390-1698

This number has called my home everyday. Every time I pick up the phone - no answer. Nothing, just a dead line and I hang up. I'm so sick of it.

Checked the National Phone Registry. This boy's from Hamilton, Ontario. I'm hot on his tail. If I get another phone call, I'm going down to Hamilton to kick his sorry a** myself!

Received call from the above number, have actually received 9 calls from this number, according to my caller ID.  Same message from "d****head" with a full mail box.  Very annoying.

Received a call at 9:20pm on Feb. 20th.  Answered, and they identified themself as calling from Bell Canada offering specials on internet and satellite tv.

Kind of funny, but not really. Annoying to get a call, then just when you think you've got the guy... an admission of guilt! But unlisted number, so harder to prosecute (but it COULD be done). Who wastes their time and money going to that much trouble for a crank call!?
