It's a collection agency...name "Global"...something....

Called while I was out. I called them back and they say that they are a collection agency. Only one problem is that I have no debt! They put me on hold but no one came back to speak to me.

called at 10am while i was at work. It asked not to hang up because it is not a marketing call and continue saying we are looking for ---- and hung up.

in the evening i called from call dispaly and a rude person wanted to know what was my name and number i was calling from? when i insisted he tell me who he is he said "this is not a guessing game" and hung up. the tone was very thratening

i  want  to  know  if  this is  a  real  law  office ,,,  does  anyone  else  owe  rodgers  cable,,,  if  so  is  this  there  ploy  for  moneies  owed....  its  illegal  lets report  them

Ditto that. They keep saying they've taken my number off their list but keep calling back, and can't get an answer about who they are or where they're located.

They call me everyday ranging from 5am - 7pm.
It gets really annoying when you're trying to eat dinner when your cell phone rings, run to your room, and sees this "Mysterious" number. I picked up once, it said something about some agency.
They put me on hold, but I thought it was just a prank call so I hung up.
The next day, they called me again, and ever since then, i've never picked up.

Seriously, the calls are getting really annoying.
They constantly call, I try to tell them to stop calling, but they don't listen.
Seriously making me extremely angry.

Received a phone call from this number, give you the name and case # requests to call back. WHen calling abck puts on hold forever. Anybody knows who or what is hiding under this number?

I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  
When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  
I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number.
They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

so i've been getting way too many calls from this number and it's not a collection agency because if it was then there would be results when you google it, duuuhhh. plus if you google "global connections debt agency" nothing fitting comes up. also to say that whoever gets these calls isn't honest is retarded because i'm still in high school so how much debt could i possibly be in, genius?

I get this number calling me everyday (sometimes twice) on my cell phone.  I've noticed it's usually between 9:00am and 2:00pm for the last 2 and a half months.
Come to think of it, I think I did call it back once in the beginning because it seemed direly important due to their over-frequent calling.  I'll try to remember what it was that the message said when I called it back.  It was automated and it said something like 'URGENT', 'Something to do with my car' 'Stay on the line for the next Representative'... I waited using up my day-time minutes for up to 8 minutes and then hung up out of annoyance.  They just kept calling back.

The call is from a company called GLOBAL COLLECTIONS.  They are a collection agency.  They continue to call almost 5 years after an account was closed, despite received numerous "closed" letter from them.  Equifax shows account closed 5 years ago.  have logdged a complaint with Gov. of Canada.

They've been calling me for a while now, looking for someone whom I've never heard of.  Gave them a call just now and told them they had the wrong number.  They told me they'd take me off the list.

Hopefully that'll be the end of it.

I've been getting calls from this number everyday at 8:15am.  I have no collection issues, but it is a new cell #.  I haven't bothered to answer it but they never leave a message so the hell with them.

Just to make it short
1) a call came through for me on March 19/08 stating to talk to my aunt.  
2) I told them my aunt does not speak any english and I take her calls.
3) I asked (ANNE) what is this about.  She state is confidential.  I said, OK, but which company are you calling from and industry.  She state, "is none of my business"  SOMETHING FISHER HERE......... also, that I am not there client.....Mmmm.......  So, what?   It does not give you a right to speak to anyone in a mean attitude tone.
4) Can't tell me even the simplest information who is calling.  Until you have to ply it out from them.   How is telling company information going to violate confidentially information on any person?????
5) BEWARE, IS A SCAM.

Listen: can you spell "A$$HOLE?"  Repeat after me: Collection agents are A$$HOLES.

first of all if your going to say something on a blog you should know how to spell "john".
maybe look into the fact that you guys haven't paid your bills.
look in the mail and see what might be there, possible collection notice.
you wouldn't get these calls if you guys were honest people.

this number has being calling frequently lately regarding a former employee. i too experienced being on hold until i either gave up or it hung up on me. i called the number directly today and after waiting for ten minutes, finally spoke to someone. they would not tell me who they were, but i'm assuming a collection agency of some sort.

Caller says there was an issue, and said it was looking for (my name) it was automated.  Asked me to press 9 to connect with a representative, left me on hold for a long time, finally when it rang, it rang for a while, then it just disconnected.  I tried to call it back twice it did the same thing.  there was no 1 in front of the number just 905-413-8664

doesn't come up under google, no message, caller ID is the phone number
