Ya they call you what seems like a million times and that's after they say, ' if you don't call back we will assume you don't want to rectify this. ' That or something similar, but they still keep calling.  

Don't give these a**holes a penny.  They run a very shady, illegal collections agency.  They won't allow you to make installments on your conditions, because it makes it harder for them to cover their tracks.

You give them money, then you're supporting organized crime in Canada.

Global uses terroristic means to get the money, and they launder the money that does come into their possession.

I got a rather angry-sounding, curt, and somewhat threatening message from Mr. Bolner again today on my mobile phone saying that they have made several attempts to reach me via phone, but are unable to, and "strongly advised me to take immediate action", and once again left that toll free number with the bogus extension that loops in circles.  "Global Collections Agency"?  It's really very irritating...

ppl don't pay their bills - they duck and run - change phone numbers - these agencies call to
gather information. the reason for the vague responses from the representatives is because each
delinquent/unpaid account is seen as a case or file. Information about the individual in question
can not be exposed to a 3rd party.

I received several calls from these guys..
When I called back to find out what these guys wanted,
I was told that I had an old credit card bill that I never paid.
When I looked into it, it turns out that they were right (oops!).  
I was able to settle my account for half the amount owing.

this fcker calls a hundred times a day, and finally we gave in and talked to him, he said he was calling on behalf of bank of montreal and says we owe them 9000 from a master card that we signed up for...so we called up the bank of montreal and confirmed with them that we DO NOT have an account with them.  this number 905-413-8701 is a scam..for real!!

I don't have a clue who it would be. I have stellar credit so I know if it is a collection agency it is not for me. It also starts with a L1, so I think that is Line #1.

Hi!  I've been getting these calls on my mobile since May08, last month I've been getting them at home.  The person the message is for isn't me, so I'm not to concerned.  I'm just annoyed with the calls.  Good info on here, please keep it updated

I joined the Canada 'National Do Not Call List', where you can list all your numbers that you do not want telemarketer's, or other calls like these. If after one month you are still getting calls, then you just report it. I've still been getting these calls, so I have now reported it, so I'll see what happens. I'll keep you updated. I finally had enough of them leaving a stupid threatening message on my answering machine, when it's my step son who hasn't lived here in 3 or 4 years that they are looking for.  I finally started to call the number over and over hanging up each time... did this 4 or 5 times, a person called back, and I blasted them.  It felt reallllllllly gooood!  I'd do it again just for kicks, in fact it made my day to let it rip at them... it has nothing to do with me, and it's reallllly ticken me off after receiving this message all sumer long, so I let them have it.  Buddy even stayed on the line long enough to hear a good pile of what I had to say.  :o)

I got the same message: You have a matter in my office that needs immediate attention, please call Mr Bolner at 1-866-349-8538 extension 8538" The originating number was 905 413 8701.

I also got the same call today from the same number saying it was an urgent message from 'my office' for a 'J Reynolds' and it was 'not a telemarketer call'. As that is not me, I thought I would stay on the line to tell someone that they had a wrong number. I waited for awhile on hold and then the call simply ended.

Got a Recorded Message Call, on my mobile, from Phone number 1 (905) 413-8701 to call Mr Bolner on an urgent matter on 1866 349-8538, extension 8538. I called that Number but all I got was an answering service, and upon entering the extension 8538, the answering service message started repeating itself. The message also said to hold on, for somebody, but I did not as the message did not say what company it was.
