Mine was a security alarm company and even after them coming to my house for a fake appointment where I handed them a formal letter requesting they remove me from their list, they still call my cell phone. fortunately for me I was able to obtain their inside number directly to the scheduling desk and I call them frequently throughout the day and have been asking anyone I come across to do the same. I've had it with these telemarketers. I recently had a call from True Green where the guy got ugly with me when I said I wasn't interested. Fortunately he hasn't called back. On the other hand this alarm company is relentless. It is a robo-call and a good one at that because at first you don't realize you're talking to an automated attendant. It would just be easier if they followed the law and respected the do not call list and do not call requests. But they don't, leaving you and me and others in a situation where we have to take these measures. Good luck!! And if you find some extra time, give a call to 916-437-0494 and ask them if they are interested in a free vacation to Florida... all they have to do is put a sign in the window of their house stating how good the vacation was. Ha.

These people have a connection to Bell Canada or their records.  They know who your family members are, They know who is calling you house and who you are calling.   If you call the Police do so from a phone that is not conncted to your home and that includes cell phone.   They are monitoring people in order to break into their home.   I have been keeping track of them since Sept. last year.  I do a call trace on the number they call me from.  I call their number only to find out the 95 per cent of the numbers are no longer in service.  I keep a daily journal of the calls and numbers they call from and have discovered (once I key in some of the numbers they have called me from) that some of the people they call have had their home broken into.

If you are going to call the Police.....or anyone else to report these people, do not do it from your home telephone, or cell phone....they have a way of monitoring who is calling you and who you are calling.  I have been keeping track of them since last Sept.  They are keeping track of your schedule so they can break into your house and they have done a few already.

I have been repeatedly (2-3 times a week) called by a tele-marketing firm representing this company to have my air ducts cleaned.

1.  I am on the do not call list.
2.  I do not have any air-ducts.

I have informed the tele-marketer of both of these facts, and asked to be removed from the call list.   The number that appears on caller ID is for a number that is not in service.

On one call I finally decided to pretend I had air-ducts to see where it would lead.  After making the arrangements and being transferred to a supervisor to finalize the appointment, I then informed the 'supervisor' that I in fact had no ducts.   The 'supervisor' then became very agitated, obscene, threatened harm in the form of raping my wife and children, and vowed the calls would never stop.

Throughout all of this, the company that was supposed to do the duct-cleaning was never identified.

On the next call I once again went through the process and arranged to have my non-existent ducts cleaned.  The crew was to arrive at 6:00 on Thursday April 26, 2012.   As an interesting close to the telephone conversation, the tele-marketer 'suddenly' became self-aware that I was on the do-not-call list and feigned his apologies.

At 12:00 (noon) on April 26 2012, a white cube van pulled to the end of the driveway and a man came to my door.   He advised they were here to clean the ducts and when asked why he was 6 hours early he stated they had finished the previous job early.

I asked for a business card or some other identification and he provided me with a business card belonging to 'Toronto Breeze', tel: 416-894-5421.

Now that I knew who to complain about, I showed him the baseboard heater in my front hall and explained that I really, REALLY, did not require any duct cleaning services, and do not appreciate receiving harassing and threatening calls from a call centre that represents them.

They have been reported to the CRTC, BBB, this web site and I will post this info ANYWHERE it might be seen.

My one goal for the next short period is to crush this piece of trash outfit out of business.

I live in Nepean.They called here Apr.16 @ 12:52PM and hung up when I asked them to put me on their DO-NOT-CALL-LIST.They are VERY RUDE and even though I'm registered on the National

I answered the call and someone spoke in a garbled voice that I could not understand.  I heard noise in the background and then the csller hung up.

Started calling my home # this afternoon , when I tried to add it to the BLOCK CALL list ( Service I pay BELL CANADA for ) got SORRY unable to add that # as it is unknown., yet it shows on the caller ID ( another service I pay BELL CANADA for ) .

Someone with a very thick Indian accent just called and identified himself as Makmason - I made him repeat it and spell it. He said he was from Air Duct Cleaning services in Mississauga. I asked him where specifically in Mississauga and he tried repeatedly to dodge the question in his pathetic English. The address he finally gave me was 2321 Eglinton Ave. which apparently is a fake address. I put in yet another complaint to the DNCL however I think if they're operating abroad, the CRTC is powerless. I don't understand how this is not harassment, if not fraud. If I called someone repeatedly asking them for money, I'd be charged - why can't they be?

They keep calling, last one was Friday the 13th at 9:00pm.
Believe you me, if I find out where they are located it definetely will be bad luck for them.
They call and then hang up, no message of course.
Oh well, I guess the scum of the earth have nothing else to do but disturb the good people.
If this is a Duct cleaning company, they need to clean up their own act.

You think they are bad, I have told them over and over that we live in apt and have electric heat. Next time I think I'll tell them to come and give an estimate.

I have been contacted by this number repeatedly and told them every time I'm not interested.  I've threatened to complain to DNC but they apparently don't care.  I submitted a complaint today.  Enough is enough.

Telemarketer, supposed to be duct cleaning company.  Very annoying.

Just got a call from these guys too, and we actually have been meaning to get our ducts cleaned so I foolishly took them up on their offer. Tried calling back to cancel after searching this 905-416-9688 number and finding all this info and it didn't work. Surprise! So I also tried the number someone else posted as having successfully gotten thru and although he answered the phone GTA HOME SERVICES he acted as though he didn't know what I was talking about and then told me I had incorrect information and gave me another business name. So I guess I have to wait and see if they show up after all. And of course there is a completely different legitimate company with this name out there.

On daily basis these people called us and when i call back the number i got a message to check the number and try again.  I am fedup with these calls though my number is on the donot call list!!!! Is bell unable to trace this and report them????

Like everyone I get the same calls.  John called me several times and his name changes.  I've tried the I don't have any Ducks joke, say I don't have any ducts...say I use wood burning stove or electric heat, hang up on them, waste their time and ask lots of questions and then say not interested and they hang up on me, tell them I'm on do not call list and to stop calling and they hang up, threaten to call the police, threaten to report to the CRTC who don't do sh*t, answer and just let them sit on the line till they give up and hang up or my favourite scream into the phone as loud and high pitch as I can.  It really depends on my mood.

Nothing stops them.  So far 2 calls today and it's usually at least 2 calls a week.  

Best bet is Panasonic phone with block feature.  That said it'll only stop the ones that have numbers.  Phone companies seem to have no incentive to work against this because they make money off selling their block feature.  I will NEVER pay for that service.  If you're my provider you should protect me because I'm a loyal customer already dishing out too much money for the services I'm getting.  

The only thing that irks me more is the weekly door to door folks.  

If you can't block it then don't answer or pick up and hang up or pick up and blast some loud high pitch noise into the phone and hang up.

They are waiting for an opportune time for you NOT to be at home. That way they can 'case' your home for a possible break-in.

The moral of the story is that if anyone wants some service (lawn repair, duct cleaning etc.) then call a reputable company yourself. "Companies" that phone you up are always disreputable, always have excuses and will always rip you off in one manner or another.

NEVER give your credit card information to anyone or any company you don't know!

These idiots call every damn day. I still can't make out the name of the company for the pakistani accent but they present themselves as an air duct cleaning company. What they really want to do is set up an 'appointment' to visit your home to see how much your home is worth. If they're really lucky, some people will give them their credit card information.

By seeing how much your home is worth, they'll continue to bill your credit card but the money goes back to Pakistan to purchase arms for their continued jihad (war) against western values.

If you want to have fun with these nimrods, when they call you - and after they've told you their name and company name (which you won't be able to make out anyway for the accent), they always pause and ask you 'and how are you today?' Use this pause do say the following in an irritated tone of voice. "You've phoned the police. What do you want?" They'll be too busy reading the script to actually ntice your response. So they'll begin to read from the script once again. This time YOU interrupt THEM and tell them again, "You phoned the police. What do you want?"

They'll hang up in a hurry.

This doesn't stop the calls from those digital cockroaches, but at least you'll have some fun at their expense.

Oh - and one more thing: my telling them that I'm on a Do Not Call list doesn't mean anything to them and they'll keep talking at you but if you interrupt them and make like you're the police they'll get off the phone real quick!

Claimed to be GTA(?) Air Duct Cleaning service.  I told them to never phone me again, and they hung up.

Well, the poor guy that just called me got an earful.  2nd call from these guys today, 4th this week - they even called on Easter Monday!  Exactly the same thing happening for us as for everyone else.  Indian sounding accent, unrealistic names.  So annoying!  
I wish there was something we could do that would actually have some effect on this type of thing.  The Do Not Call list sure isn't working.

We too are on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  They hang up when you tell them that....annoyed that they keep calling....

This idiots keep calling us over and over again.

Its' unwanted, should be considered as electronically trespassing, invasion of privacy, breaking and entry.

I too got a call today from "msc-vip11.ckc41? the number phone CID displayed was 905-416-9688.  Someone else also got a call from  "msc-vip11.ckc41? but the number displayed was 526-452-1890

This was a call from a telemarketer offering Duct Cleaning services.  He was an Indian accented guy claiming to be John, but never mentioned any company name.  I had just the previous day received a similar call and had asked that person to never me call me again and put me on their do not call list -> something I am too familiar just does not exist in their vocabulary.

So I decided  to do the most logical thing to waste his time and make him regret that he called.  When I asked what was his real name he again claimed to be John and explained to me that Johns exist everywhere in the world.  That was my cue, and I asked him that he implied he was a pimp (John) and should I be calling the police.  He kept repeating his explanation and so did I insist on calling the police since he claimed to be a John.  Finally he gave up and hung up on me.

I believe the best way is to frustrate these Telemarketers, because no amount of CRTC, DNCL or other threat works, so if the Telemarketer gets no bite, he will not call back OR instead maybe put your on a very special list of "nasty" numbers.  LOL  Don't worry, I will block this and every other such number in my blocked call list.

Most Panasonic phones have the block option. I have one and it works great.

I keep getting phone calls from this fake company with this fake telephone number telling me my computer has viruses.  The man calling has a thick asian (indian) accent.  I told him that I knew for a fact that my computer did not have any viruses because I was in the field, computers are my career...  He kept reading the script, pushing me into their services.  I told him, put me on your do not call list and then he hung up.  I keep receiving the calls and when I answer, they hang up.  I eventually blocked them from the phone but they keep calling.

I didn't answer the call and they left no message. I tried to call the number back but it's a fake. I'll let the CRTC know but that is a waste of time!
